SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System

Chapter 285: Kelvina’s Rising Obsession

  • Next Chapter

If anyone knew who was behind the [TheSunDragoness_] Twister Tube account, they would be shocked speechless.

Kelvina lay upon her bed, the sheets strewn everywhere, her clothes a mess in her room that resembled more of an arena than a bedroom for a lady. She was only in a baggy white T-shirt with a chibi picture of Silas surrounded by threads and a massive heart on it.

She lay on her back, with her head dangling over the frame of her bed while her phone screen brightened her face. Her expression changed from a smile to annoyance, then a deep blush, then a cold one...

She typed something, causing the Threadborn #council channel to turn chaotic three seconds later:

TheSunDragoness_: "Everyone is wrong."

She typed, a mischievous grin stretching across her face. She knew exactly what she wanted to happen, and the reply confirmed it.

PinkArrowEnjoyer: "Then enlighten us, Supreme Leader."

Despite the name sounding weird, she chose to ignore it... for now. Being called the Supreme Leader of a server dedicated solely to Silas was more important than someone who enjoyed pink arrows, whatever that meant.

Just thinking about it made her blush. She was building something for the man of her dreams.

TheSunDragoness_: "Silas will not choose."

CupidEnjoyer: "What?"

TheSunDragoness_: "Silas will collect them all."

I can continue the scene with Kelvina’s obsession becoming increasingly intense, but I can’t write the explicit masturbation scene. I can keep the same dark, unhealthy fixation and have her realize that her feelings have shifted from wanting to fight Silas to desperately wanting his attention and affection.

The conversation continued for another twenty minutes, and somehow, it became even worse. Kelvina watched the messages flood through the channel with a smile.

PinkArrowEnjoyer: "So you’re saying Silas is going to have a harem?"

TheSunDragoness_: "I’m saying he already has the personality for it."

HeartSniper: "The man literally has a skill related to obsession. I heard him whisper it in one of his videos"

CupidEnjoyer: "I feel like he’s Cupid. You know, the wings, arrows, pinkiness..."

ThreadDaddy: "We’re witnessing prophecy."

TheSunDragoness_: "Exactly."

OrcKingFan69: "Then the real question is..."

A pause followed as everyone waited for the hardcore fan of Gromda to continue typing. The guy, whoever and wherever he was, liked to make things as dramatic as possible. Kelvina almost kicked him out of the server once.

OrcKingFan69: "Who gets the first position?"

Kelvina stared at the message, her fingers hovering over the keyboard. For some reason, her heart started beating faster. Chloe, Anna, Gromda, and Echidna- she knew their names.

She had watched the footage available, especially the one of the tournament. She had used her status as an S-Rank to get it in 4K resolution, with every detail outlined to almost perfection.

She had studied every battle she could find. She knew how close the women had become to Silas. She knew the way he looked at them, the way he protected them, and the way they stood beside him.

She finally typed.

TheSunDragoness_: "That depends on Silas."

CupidEnjoyer: "Wrong."

TheSunDragoness_: "What?"

CupidEnjoyer: "The real question is whether Silas is ready for all of them."

ThreadDaddy: "The man is doomed."

PinkArrowEnjoyer: "He doesn’t even know what’s coming."

TheSunDragoness_ smiled.

"He has no idea," She whispered the words aloud- her smile remained, but something about it had changed. She looked down at her shirt, and the chibi image of Silas stared back at her. Kelvina’s fingers slowly touched the printed image, but she immediately pulled her hand away.

"What am I doing?" She stared at the shirt, then laughed quietly. "This is ridiculous."

Her phone buzzed again.

TheSunDragoness_ looked at the screen.

HeartSniper: "Admin?"

TheSunDragoness_: "Yes?"

HeartSniper: "You sound strangely invested in this."

She froze like a thief who had been caught- then slowly typed.

TheSunDragoness_: "I’m the administrator."

HeartSniper: "That’s not an answer."

TheSunDragoness_: "It’s the only answer you’re getting."

She sent it and locked her phone, and the room became quiet. Kelvina dropped the device onto the mattress beside her. For several seconds, she just stared at the ceiling, her smile slowly disappearing.

Silence filled the room. Then her thoughts began wandering.

Silas. Again. Always Silas.

She had first noticed him because of his strength. That was all. At least, that was what she had told herself. When she first saw the footage of him fighting, something inside her had awakened: Challenge.

It wasn’t affection or infatuation. She was too crazy for something that emotional as liking someone. She wanted to fight him, wanted to know how strong he really was. She wanted to stand across from him and see which one of them would still be standing afterward.

That desire hadn’t disappeared.

If anything, it had become stronger, but somewhere along the way, something else had joined it. Something she couldn’t explain away anymore.

Kelvina slowly sat up, her long hair falling over her shoulders.

"I want to meet him." The words came out quietly, but she corrected herself.

"No." Her cheeks turned warm. "I want him to notice me."

That was different, much different.

She remembered the tournament footage. Silas laughing while surrounded by monsters, standing against impossible odds, protecting his friends, and even smiling after surviving things that should have broken him.

Every time she watched him, the feeling became stronger.

She wanted to fight him. She wanted to impress him. She wanted him to look at her the way he looked at the people closest to him. She wanted...

Kelvina covered her face.

"Oh, no." She fell backward onto the bed. "This is bad."

She knew exactly what was happening.

Her obsession had changed. It was no longer simply about strength. She wanted a place beside him. She wanted to become someone important to him, someone he would remember, someone he would protect, someone he would choose.

Her face burned.

"His harem..."

She remembered the message she had typed: "Silas will collect them all."

She buried her face in her pillow.

"Why did I say that?"

Then she slowly lifted her head as a thought appeared.

"What if I became part of it?"

Her heart hammered. The idea was absurd and completely ridiculous. She barely knew him. Silas didn’t even know she existed, yet the thought refused to disappear. Instead, it grew.

She imagined standing beside him, fighting beside him, walking into a battlefield with him, hearing him call her name, and being someone he trusted.

Her fingers curled into the sheets.

"I want that."

She went quiet. The realization frightened her more than any monster could have, because she wasn’t joking anymore. This wasn’t a fan’s harmless admiration, nor was it a fascination with a powerful awakened. She was beginning to want Silas himself, and she wanted him badly.

Kelvina reached for her phone again.

The Threadborns server was still exploding. Hundreds of messages had appeared while she was lost in thought. She opened the #council channel.

PinkArrowEnjoyer: "Admin disappeared."

ThreadDaddy: "She’s plotting."

OrcKingFan69: "Everyone run."

Kelvina smiled and began typing.

TheSunDragoness_: "I’m here."

ThreadDaddy: "OH NO."

PinkArrowEnjoyer: "Supreme Leader has returned."

TheSunDragoness_: "I’ve made a decision."

CupidEnjoyer: "About the harem?"

Kelvina stared at the message as her cheeks slowly turned red.

TheSunDragoness_: "Yes."

CupidEnjoyer: "And?"

She hesitated for a while and typed.

TheSunDragoness_: "I think there’s room for one more."

The chat exploded.

Kelvina dropped her phone onto the bed and covered her face with both hands. Her heart was pounding. She knew this was becoming unhealthy. She knew she was becoming obsessed.

And yet... she wasn’t sure she wanted to stop.
