It had been three days since Silas purchased the building and land for his unnamed guild, and the bureau had been very efficient. With the building almost ready, it didn’t need much renovation and could be said to be almost ready for use.
Silas’s new car was also set to arrive by the weekend. The Grand Banquet was getting closer, and he had to prepare for it, but there were more important things he wanted to do first.
The banquet could wait. He could even choose not to go. It wasn’t like anyone could force him to.
Walking through the basement floor, Silas entered the section labeled armory, his smile widening with each step. He had plans for the place... a whole lot of plans.
The hall was massive, about the size of a large conference room where thousands of people could enter, and there would still be enough space to move about. It was empty, with nothing but its four walls.
"Perfect!"
He summoned his system screen, specifically the Shop function. It displayed categories of items he could purchase, along with the amount of CP he had. And it currently showed: [141,000,300 CP].
That was a lot.
He still recalled the first time the system introduced Cupid Points to him. He had wondered just how he would be getting enough to purchase just a C-Rank dagger. But he had more than enough to purchase artifacts up to A-Rank. S-Rank artifacts and beyond would cost more.
Just the S-Rank Dragon Balls Collection cost 140,000,000 CP. That was around 99% of his current CP. But from A-Rank downwards, the prices were a bit normal.
His plan was simple. He was going to fill the armory with artifacts from his Shop system. Weapons, armor, amulets, accessories... everything would be from his Shop. The best part was that he didn’t need to arrange anything himself.
He’d already talked it over with the system, and it could set up the place as a high-tech and functioning armory, provided the place was empty and spacious enough. Looking at the place, it was good.
The system immediately manifested itself as a tall, pale-skinned man with long white hair and pink eyes, and looked around the room. He walked around soundlessly, checking the walls for whatever he was checking... Don’t get me wrong, but you don’t always know what a professional is doing unless he tells you.
To the layman, it was magic. To the professional, it was his curse.
The man finally stopped at the center of the room and smiled. He then beckoned to Silas to approach him. Once Silas reached his position, he projected fifteen different armory designs, explaining each in detail.
The armory showcase was impressive, each having its ups and downs, but one especially stood out. It was exactly what Silas was looking for.
This armory was divided into two sections, one for everyone and one for official members of the guild. In these two sections, there were sections for the type of weapons as well as their ranks. He didn’t want anything complex that would make B-Rank and above artifacts appear too worshipped.
He didn’t even care if an A-Rank artifact was seen lying somewhere... or maybe that was too much larping. Anyway, he didn’t want anything too complex. That was the conclusion, and the armory he chose was perfect for it.
The armory would cost 100,000 CP, which he instantly paid.
The moment the purchase went through, the man raised his hands, and right before Silas, the hall started transforming. The floor changed from old tiles to sleek, high-tech boards capable of withstanding mana-infused attacks, while also protecting any breakable item that fell from being destroyed.
The walls and the ceiling also transformed, becoming sleek. The material used to make them was pure vibranium, which was projected to Silas, causing his eyes to widen in shock. Vibranium was a mineral that was lost in the annals of time, and the only civilization known to have had access to it was the Wakandans.
Seeing the same mineral element being used for his armory would, of course, shock him. But the real shock was yet to come as the man suddenly displayed a wicked grin, causing all the hairs on his skin to stand.
