Chapter 112: Chapter 56: I Will Storm This Temple! (Part 2)

Seeing that Alex was about to step into the Taurus Temple, Aldebaran’s deep voice rang out.

"Wait a moment!"

Alex frowned slightly, halting his steps.

Aldebaran spoke in a muffled, booming voice. "Alex, I know I’m no match for you, but I want to know exactly how big the gap is between us!"

"Therefore..." Aldebaran clasped his hands together. "Please, exchange one move with me. Just one. It won’t delay you for long..."

’Are you a husky?’

Alex, wearing an expression of utter helplessness, nodded.

Aldebaran was overjoyed. Just as he was about to make his move, he suddenly caught sight of Seiya off to the side, his eyes wide and face full of anticipation.

Aldebaran’s eyes darted around, and he barked at Seiya, "Hey, brat! Turn around! Until I say you can, you absolutely must not turn back. Did you hear me?!"

Seiya’s face stiffened. This was a battle involving Lord Alex, the strongest Saint of the current era! Even just observing it would teach him a ton!

’Ahhh! Damn it, you bullhead!’

Seiya only heard Aldebaran’s angry shout ring out from behind him.

"Alex, I’ve tolerated you for a long time back in the Pope’s Palace! Take this—Great Horn!"

Alex’s cold, indifferent voice responded.

"Is that so? Then that must have been quite tough for you!"

Boom!

Ah!

Smack!

Seiya secretly glanced back, just in time to see Aldebaran picking himself up from the ground and wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. Alex was already nowhere to be seen.

’Damn it, I couldn’t even last a single move before losing? This time, I didn’t even force out Alex’s ultimate technique. Just how terrifyingly strong is this guy?’ Aldebaran thought to himself.

Aldebaran had just scrambled to his feet when he realized Seiya had turned around and was staring at his pathetic state.

The two locked eyes. The atmosphere in front of the Taurus Temple instantly froze.

Murderous intent rose from Aldebaran. He cracked his knuckles loudly, letting out a savage grin.

"Brat, you saw me make a fool of myself, didn’t you? You’re dead meat! I’ve decided: I’m going to break all four of your limbs and throw you off the mountain!"

Seiya also looked incredibly frustrated.

"You couldn’t even last a single move, and you have the nerve to blame me?!"

Both felt the other’s face was growing increasingly detestable. In unison, they erupted with unprecedented Cosmos and unleashed their ultimate techniques!

"Pegasus Meteor Fist!"

"Great Horn!"

Sensing the two clusters of Cosmo violently erupting and colliding behind him, Alex shook his head.

’Did Aldebaran fly into a humiliating rage and vent all his anger on Seiya?’

’Hold on tight, Seiya. But then again, with Athena’s plot armor protecting your health bar, you should be fine.’

Among the five Bronze Saints, Seiya was the most tenacious. No matter how many times he was beaten down, he could always crawl back up. That was exactly why the five Bronze Saints had earned their "indomitable" title. Other Bronze and Silver Saints essentially died in a single hit.

Seeing these five Bronze Saints gave Alex a very direct realization of just how biased Athena truly was.

Before he knew it, Alex found himself standing before the Gemini Temple!

A diamond-shaped, white ice crystal lit up between his eyebrows as he stepped inside!

This was an original mental technique of the Aquarius constellation he had created: Heart as Clear as Ice. By freezing his own sympathetic nervous system, he rendered himself completely immune to all illusions, mirages, and dreams! It was the absolute nemesis of all illusion-type skills.

Having just ascended to the position of Pope, Saga had not come in person.

His Gemini Gold Cloth stood silently in the very center of the temple. Saga’s Cosmo, carrying a blend of both evil and justice, radiated from the Cloth, enveloping the entire palace.

The four Bronze Saints were stumbling around inside the Gemini Temple as if they were drunk.

In this timeline, because of Alex’s interference, Shiryu had not been blinded; thus, all four of them had collectively fallen into Saga’s illusionary labyrinth.

Alex glanced at the Zodiac clock at the summit; the second flame was about to go out.

He frowned slightly. This progress is a bit too slow. Alex transmitted his voice directly into Shiryu’s mind. "You can only pass through smoothly if you completely abandon the influence of your five senses!"
