Rich Parents Found Me After I Got a Tycoon System? Yeah, I'm Not Interested
Chapter 339: Me! A Ten-Billionaire Serving Tea and Water
Qin Sitong worried that even if she got her hands on these trees, which looked like they were already extinct, she wouldn’t be able to protect them.
Once word about the Ice and Fire Trees got out, businesses rushing to make a profit would probably beat a path to the school’s door.
"It should be fine. Just wait for news from me."
It was impossible for Yun Zijin to plant all the seeds herself, so Chu Jiangyue’s thoughts once again turned to the Agricultural Research Institute and the government.
She wondered if the government still needed plants for its greenbelts. A special greenbelt that was warm in the winter and cool in the summer would be an incredible value.
But how could she let them discover—naturally and discreetly—that she had something good on her hands again?
"Starting now, I’m on standby 24/7!"
Qin Sitong was so determined to get the Ice and Fire Trees that she was ready to give up sleep.
"That’s not really necessary. You can be on standby 24/7, but I need my normal rest."
Qin Sitong chuckled. This wasn’t the first time she’d experienced the joy of having an inside connection, and she was a little overexcited.
Seeing Qin Sitong’s state, Yun Zijin figured she wouldn’t be calming down anytime soon. She decided to just let her stand there and giggle to herself until she got it out of her system.
A good while later, after Yun Zijin had already finished a cup of Lingwu tea, Qin Sitong finally snapped out of her daydream.
When she saw it was almost noon, Qin Sitong’s eyes went wide.
"I haven’t even been to the shop yet today!"
Qin Sitong figured the people who had been waiting at the shop all morning were probably cursing her out in their heads.
"Let’s get lunch first. It’s fine if you go this afternoon. You’re the boss, after all. It wouldn’t matter if you didn’t go in at all today."
If the shop couldn’t run without Qin Sitong there, it just meant the current staff wasn’t experienced enough yet.
After Yun Zijin said that, the anxious look on Qin Sitong’s face gradually faded. She relaxed and had lunch with Yun Zijin at Jade Lake before heading to the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop.
Yun Zijin hadn’t planned on going, but Qin Sitong dragged her along, using the excuse that Fu Ze was coming to the shop that day to deliver the proposal he’d prepared.
Inside the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop, many people who had come specifically for the famous Wangyou Milk Tea were waiting, since Qin Sitong hadn’t shown up all morning.
When Qin Sitong finally appeared, the customers all groaned and complained in her direction.
"Sorry, everyone, I got held up by something today. You can all start placing your orders now. I’ll make them in the order they’re received, up to a limit of 200 cups."
Before Qin Sitong could even finish speaking, the order system started chiming nonstop—DING! DING! DING!—with nearly every order being for Wangyou Milk Tea.
Amid the crowd, Yun Zijin spotted a familiar figure: Jiang Yi.
As Yun Zijin looked over, the ever-alert Jiang Yi’s gaze met hers. He seemed surprised to see her for a moment but quickly composed himself and gave her a slight nod.
As a regular, Jiang Yi knew Yun Zijin was one of the co-owners of the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop.
It was just that, compared to Qin Sitong, Yun Zijin rarely made an appearance at the shop anymore.
Fu Ze arrived when the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop was at its most chaotic. Even Yun Zijin had been roped into serving milk tea to the customers.
’I never would have imagined it! Me! A multi-billionaire, reduced to being a tea girl in a milk tea shop.’
"President Fu, could you lend a hand? I’m going to the back to make milk tea for the customers."
Compared to serving tea, Yun Zijin felt she was better suited to working quietly behind the scenes.
She could take over making the Wangyou Milk Tea, freeing up Qin Sitong to handle the other orders.
’The staff plus Fu Ze delivering milk tea to the customers... Perfect!’
Fu Ze glanced at Yun Zijin, then at Qin Sitong, who was spinning like a top in the preparation area. He finally nodded.
"Just tell me what to do."
Yun Zijin quickly explained the basics to Fu Ze. After he nodded in understanding, she slipped into the preparation area.
"Tongtong, I’ll take over the Wangyou Milk Tea. Go help the others out."
As she spoke, Yun Zijin grabbed one of the shop’s standard aprons, put it on, and quickly switched into work mode.
Qin Sitong handed the Wangyou Milk Tea station over to Yun Zijin and went to help the other employees with the remaining orders.
When Fu Ze came up to the counter, Yun Zijin unceremoniously placed a Wangyou Milk Tea in front of him and even thoughtfully handed him a tray.
"Wangyou Milk Tea for table five! Thanks for the help, President Fu!"
Qin Sitong opened her mouth to say something, but when she saw Fu Ze obediently take the tray and walk off with the milk tea, she swallowed the words that had been on the tip of her tongue.
Once Fu Ze had left the counter with the tray, Qin Sitong turned to Yun Zijin. "Are you sure this is okay?"
This was Fu Ze, after all! The thought of Zijin making a man like him deliver drinks to customers was enough to make Qin Sitong’s skin crawl.
"What’s the problem? He looks perfectly happy to do it. You’ll understand later."
Qin Sitong was too close to the situation to see clearly and thought it was inappropriate, completely unaware that she was the very reason he was doing it.
’If Fu Ze couldn’t even handle a small test like this, then he might as well not come back.’
If you want something, you have to be willing to give something in return. Besides, it was just helping deliver some milk tea. Yun Zijin didn’t see anything wrong with what she’d done.
Fu Ze surely understood her intentions, which was why he had agreed with so little hesitation.
"Don’t you worry about it either. He’s a businessman. He wouldn’t do something if it meant taking a loss. He must have agreed because there’s something in it for him."
As for what that ’something’ was, Yun Zijin decided to let Qin Sitong figure it out for herself.
But with the shop running nonstop, Qin Sitong didn’t have time to overthink it, and she soon pushed the matter to the back of her mind.
Only after the day’s 200 cups of Wangyou Milk Tea were sold out did Yun Zijin emerge from the preparation area.
With no more Wangyou Milk Tea available, the crowd in the shop gradually thinned out, until only an occasional customer trickled in.
With fewer customers, the regular staff could handle the workload. Qin Sitong came out from the preparation area, and Fu Ze also took the opportunity to end his "special experience" for the day.
The three of them sat down at an empty table, and Fu Ze took the initiative, pulling out the proposal he had prepared for Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong.
"This is the event proposal. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions."
For convenience, Fu Ze had made three copies. Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong each took one and began to read.
It had to be said, Fu Ze was truly in a class of his own. Even for a small milk tea shop’s special event, his proposal was brilliant.
"I don’t see any issues. Tongtong, what do you think?"
Yun Zijin leaned toward Qin Sitong, curious to hear her opinion.
Qin Sitong was still reading. Across from them, Fu Ze’s heart hammered anxiously with every page she turned.
"There are no major issues, but we’ll need to adjust some of the details based on the shop’s actual circumstances."
Qin Sitong knew the shop’s situation better than Yun Zijin, so she naturally had more factors to consider while reviewing the proposal.
"In that case, do you need me to find people to help with the decorations?"
Fu Ze felt that since he had written the proposal, it was only responsible of him to help follow through with it.
