The Western Pole company was rattled seeing none of their attacks stick to the Rebornian soldiers. Anything they tried, it was as if it was nothing more than a harmless slap that would not even break the skin barrier.

And the worst part was that they were using all of their stamina for this. Each of the soldiers began shedding sweat after sweat, with their muscles being forced to move at its maximum.

In comparison, the Rebornian soldiers looked like they had just gotten off of a rejuvenating shower.

"Damn it!" the general cursed.

It was at this point that he realized that the Rebornian army was a lot more than they bargained for. It truly looked like they were in the same caliber as a Conglomerate subcompany, at the very least.

And that wasn’t good news. For anyone.

The Western Pole general could only bite his lips in frustration. Now, they had been instructed to win against the Rebornian company at all costs.

And if there was even the slightest bit of chance that they would lose, then the Oscorpe Conglomerate had fully allowed them to use excessive force.

Suffice it to say, they weren’t above cheating.

The general turned towards one of his flab bearers at the very back of the army. This certain flag bearer didn’t look like the ordinary soldier. He had muscles and a mean aura around him. It certainly looked as if he was much better served in the front lines than here, doing nothing but holding their prideful flag upwards for motivation.

This was on purpose. After all, this very flag bearer was actually a secret soldier from the Oscorpe Conglomerate!

It was at this point that the Flag Bearer staked the pole on the ground and ripped off his sleeves, revealing mystical, black shackles that were wrapped around his wrists.

The Flag Bearer frowned before pulling his arms away from each other with great force, ripping the very chains that had held the manacles together.

It shattered into mystical motes of violet light.

Watching this from above, Michael could immediately tell that this certain broken shackle was actually an Aubility Power. And not just any power, but something that would be able to conceal a cultivator’s true strength.

"I knew they were going to cheat," Michael muttered to himself.

But he didn’t worry that much. He’d replenished the protective talismans worn by his soldiers. They’d be able to withstand the attack of a high-levelled Nascent Spirit cultivator by at least a single instance.

Also, this would be good practice for his army. From here on out, they’d be fighting against much stronger opponents than their own, and it would be nice if they got stronger before that.

Specifically, he was putting his attention towards the person perched atop one of the trees, completely avoiding the battle down below.

It was none other than Jaku. The lazy Dragonborn knew that the Rebornian army would be able to triumph against this opponent easily, so he found it appropriate to simply sit back and relax. The same thing he did during the battle in the demi-human kingdom!

And it was at this moment that a sudden shockwave emanated through the entire battlefield.

For the first time, the Rebornian soldiers were shaken. They all looked towards the back of the Western Pole company, sensing a presence that was a thousand times stronger than their own.

The Flag Bearer, once he had shed his shackles, had now revealed himself to be a 1st stage Nascent Spirit cultivator!

Donning his Nascent Armor, the Flag Bearer looked like a soldier brought from hell itself, with his dark midnight armor with a literal spine hanging from the back of his helmet.

In an instant, this Flag Bearer arrived at the very frontlines, his large gauntlets ready to shatter through the entire line of Rebornian soldiers.

Electricity crackled. Not even a single second later, blue lightning flashed towards the Flag Bearer, facing against him head on.

"Damn..." Jaku cursed. His body reacted on its own!

The Flag Bearer frowned, seeing his gauntlets blocked by a single katana. He grabbed at its blade, intending to pull the annoying Dragonborn inwards to crush his skull.

Nascent Armor allowed the Flag Bearer to completely take ahold of Jaku’s sword, making it completely useless. He wouldn’t be able to swing it.

But it was at this point that Jaku’s forehead glowed golden for the slightest instant.

And suddenly, the Flag Bearer’s chestplate cracked. From the neck, down towards his left rib.

The Nascent Spirit cultivator backed away, completely confused and frightened.

How did that happen?!

He didn’t even see an attack. In fact, Jaku couldn’t have attacked. His katana was still held on to by the Flab Bearer!

"You think I need a weapon?" Jaku asked.

And a few seconds later, lightning flashed once again. And this time, the Flag Bearer felt as if he was struck by a blade once again, further creating fissures in his Nascent Armor.

Terrified, the Flag Bearer focused his Aubility Power-infused eyesight towards Jaku.

And there, faintly, like an ethereal ghost, he saw a flash of blue lightning floating around the Dragonborn as if it was a sentient sword.

Then once the Flag Bearer blinked, that image was gone.

It was at that point that he finally realized the truth. "No... no way! Sword Intent!"

Only the power of the Heavenly Knights could damage a Nascent Armor like this.

"No!... NO NO NO NO NO!"

He’d heard about things like this. Anyone who had fought against a Heavenly Knight and was subjected by their Sword Intent would have nightmares plaguing them for years!

Those who experienced it themselves said that it was like there was a ghostly sword haunting them, cutting them into pieces even in their dreams.

The Flag Bearer didn’t sign up for this! No way he was going to fight such a frightening character!

With haste, the Nascent Spirit cultivator began retreating back into the very back of the Western Pole army.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING, YOU DUNCE?!" the general screamed.
