Chapter 823: Rex Family, Origins. Part-8.

In the past five years of war, Allen created a small alliance of Dark Elves, Elves, Fairies, Humans and Orcs to fight against the powerful demon armies and even managed to repel them away from the Maya continent by the end of it.

Although the victory was obtained through underhanded tactics and was only temporary, it was still a major victory in the eyes of the rest of the nations of the world who were used to being defeated by the demons easily!

With this war, Allen had proved to the world that it was actually possible to defeat the demons and save the world!

Although only a thousand Dark Elves managed to survive until the end, it was still a major victory as the complete extinction of the Dark Elven race had been prevented!

These major victories would serve as the foothold for Allen to push forward his ideology of creating a unified alliance of all races in the world.

A new flame of hope had been ignited by Allen with the victory of this war!

The effects of this victory were, in fact, already starting to appear, as many races had started to show interest in joining the alliance.

"Although we lost a lot in this war, we have made significant progress this time..."

"I believe that this progress and all these sacrifices will help us lay a solid foundation for the future generations, and they will be able to live in peace, unlike us."

Allen’s words brought new vitality and hope to all the members of the meeting.

Although they had lost a lot in this war, it was indeed true that a ’Path’ of survival was now starting to become clear to them all.

This was already a major breakthrough compared to the past when they could only cower in fear and pray to the heavens for salvation.

Just when the meeting was reaching its climax, a sudden knocking sound rang out from the main door, and a frown appeared on everyone’s face.

They had already told their subordinates that this was an extremely important post-war meeting, so unless something major had happened, there was no need to interrupt the meeting.

Now that someone was interrupting their meeting, it was obvious that something urgent had come up.

"Come in."

With a calm look on his face, Allen allowed the messenger to enter the meeting hall.

The messenger was a low-rank healer from the human army, and a nervous look was clearly visible on his face.

Seeing the messenger nervous, everyone in the room also became anxious.

"Sir Allen, Sir Farim, Ms Astra... Lady Meena has suddenly fainted while healing the injured. The person in charge sent me here to inform you about this incident."

Hearing those words, several people in the meeting heaved a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, it was not something major.

"What!? Meena fainted!?"

Unlike others who were relieved, a look of shock and concern appeared on Farim’s face as he immediately rushed out of the meeting hall to look for Meena.

Even Astra got up from her seat and left the hall to check on Meena’s health.

Only Allen remained seated on the spot.

"No need to worry about the two of them leaving. Meena is an S-rank healer of the Human army, and I believe it’s a major issue as an S-ranker does not faint for a random reason."

Dismissing the messenger, Allen took control of the meeting once again without even batting an eye as if he already knew that this was going to happen.

"Haha, please don’t worry, Sir Allen; Lady Meena has saved the lives of many of our subordinates in the past five years. We are all just as much worried about her health."

"S-rank healers are the greatest treasures that the heavens have bestowed upon us all; if anything happens to them, it would be a major problem."

Unlike in the past when healers were being hunted everywhere, after this cruel war, the status of the healers had become the most respected in the world.

Although many were jealous that both of the world’s top S-rank healers were from the human race, none dared to persecute them anymore because of how powerful the Unified Human Empire had become in the recent times.

Allen had not let down Astra’s expectations of him and had already started to create a world where healers could roam around freely without being persecuted for their powers.

All races in the war owed huge favours to both Astra and Meena, and thus they had all accepted the existence of healers now.

Astra being able to openly sit among the various leaders of the nations in an important meeting was already proof that Allen had already started to change the world for the better.

"Good. Now let’s get back to the topic."

"We all already know how important an alliance is when fighting against the demon armies. So I won’t beat around the bush and get to the main topic directly."

"We need to expand our alliance fast! Not only do we need to make the other races join our alliance, we need to enhance the cohesion of our combined armies!"

"Making the entire world unify under one banner has always been my dream, and now we all share the same goal, so let’s all work together for this goal and create a better world for our future generations!"

Although it would still take centuries for the world to completely unify under one banner, the seeds of that revolution were already being buried in the ground by Allen in advance!

The post-war meeting of this day would later be mentioned in the records of the World Alliance’s foundation history books and will be referred to as the meeting that marked the beginning of the grand revolution!

Everyone sitting in that meeting could already sense that they were witnessing history in the making and a new era was about to begin.

With Allen leading the way forward, a new dawn had come to this chaotic world of death and destruction.
