Damon was born into a poor family, and only lived his life fantasizing about having enough wealth that it wouldn't matter if he were so very lazy. By some twist of fate, or maybe the universe granting his wish; Damon found himself in a new reality were he was the richest man in the world.

However, before he could celebrate his new fortune, a cosmic power casts judgement on this new world he had arrived in, ushering all of humanity into a horrifying Global Apocalypse, THE ORIGIN TRIALS, a precursor, and a determinant of whether the world would be spared and brought into the ORIGIN GAMES, or be slated for complete erasure. A brutal trial, where only humanity's best could survive, where every waking hour is a literal struggle.

Damon awakens a class that granted him surplus of ORIGIN CRYSTALS, the currency of the current apocalypse, used to purchase items from the ORIGIN STORE, as well as raise one's stats.

However, he was cursed by the ORIGIN WILL, which deemed his seemingly harmless class, tied deeply to Damon's blurry past, a TABOO.

Damon makes a plan to survive using his Rich man's class to employ all the safety measures he could, and also began to nurture powerful individuals using his abundant resources, who could potentially serve as his strength in this new world where wealth without strength was only asking for troubles, where his growing influence on a Global Scale, begins to draw in those who wanted what he had, as the trials of the apocalypse intensified.

Damon soon realizes that his class wasn't as simple as it had presented itself, as the skills within his class had the potential to not only make him impossibly powerful, but turn this weak young man not just into a being that leads his world, but one that would soon challenge the ORIGIN WILL itself.
