Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1387: Thinking Ahead
Chapter 1387: Chapter 1387: Thinking Ahead
"Of course, even if you want the Peace Group to apologize with a banner on the roof, that’s fine as long as you investigate the truth!" Sophie Wilson showed genuine sincerity.
However, Sophie’s repeated "concessions" caused Henry Chapman across from her to roll his eyes and faint on the spot.
"Why did he faint? Does he feel too ashamed of what he’s done?" Sophie wondered aloud, reflecting, "It seems like he still has some sense of shame."
The doctor who rushed over to resuscitate Henry nearly fainted from anger upon hearing Sophie’s words.
"Let’s go." Satisfied with the outcome, Sophie turned and left with the cameraman.
After leaving the crowd, she asked, "Did you get it all on tape?"
"Yes." The cameraman nodded continuously.
"Alright, hurry up and edit it, then send it to the Peace Group for me." After saying this, Sophie parted ways with him and headed over to the Peace Group.
She wanted to see her Mr. Seymour.
Sophie happily ran off to be with her husband, while chaos ensued at the Chapman Family hospital.
Especially when Felix Chapman found out his son had fainted from anger because of Sophie at the hospital entrance, he was furious. Once the doctor inside came out and informed him that Henry had regained consciousness, he stormed in angrily.
"Dad." Henry had just woken up and was still a bit weak and dazed.
"What happened?" Felix demanded angrily, "Sophie Wilson came to stir up trouble; why didn’t you call security or the police?"
Fainting from anger?
Isn’t this making a laughingstock of ourselves?
"Dad, that Sophie..." Henry glanced at the side.
"No one here." Felix assured.
Since his son was in trouble, of course, he would arrange a private room for him to rest.
Only then did Henry feel at ease to recount the events. As he spoke, Felix’s face grew more and more grim, and by the end, enraged, he cursed loudly, "Shameless!"
Absolutely shameless!
He had never seen someone so shameless!
Sophie caused such a ruckus at the hospital entrance that it put them in a very passive position.
How could they let the public know about these matters?
Especially when Sophie claimed that if she was wrong, she would apologize publicly in the newspaper.
The problem is, if in a few days there’s no apology from Sophie in the newspapers, wouldn’t that mean everything she said was true?
"You rest for now." Felix considered further, then hurried out and called a department director, asking, "Have any patient appointments changed?"
"No changes." The department director shook his head.
Felix frowned and instructed, "Keep an eye on things at all times."
Felix then gathered people for a meeting, informing them that Sophie’s disturbance had significantly negative impacts on their hospital.
If things aren’t handled well, their patients might cancel appointments, and then... how could they recover?
Unlike the extremely anxious Felix Chapman, Sophie was quite happy. Watching the finished video, she asked Charles Seymour, "How is it?"
"Hmm, very satisfying." Charles’s lips curled into a slight smile, affirming.
As soon as he spoke, Sophie’s eyes lit up with excitement: "Exactly, I knew this would be satisfying!"
