Chapter 1378: Chapter 1378: Difficult Times

"We need to clear up this matter, don’t we?" Henry Chapman said, "If we let them talk nonsense like this, it will have a very bad impact on our hospital."

"Hmm." Felix Chapman nodded, "We need to think of a way."

"I’ll go find someone to clarify immediately." Henry Chapman was about to leave but was stopped by Felix Chapman, "How are you going to clarify, grab people and explain to each one?"

Henry Chapman stopped in his tracks, looking helplessly at Felix Chapman.

Felix Chapman sighed heavily and said, "This situation can’t be explained at all, the more we try to explain, the more it seems like we’re guilty. Besides, you can’t find anyone to explain."

"Are we just going to let Charles Seymour and the others throw dirt at us?" Henry Chapman was about to explode with anger.

"Think again, we can’t rush now, the more we rush, the messier it gets." Felix Chapman knew they could only stay calm and not make a wrong move.

If they act rashly, not only won’t they clarify, but it will make the Chapman family’s situation even more difficult.

While the Chapman family was upset, Sophie Wilson was very happy on her side.

She joyfully gathered the whole family together for a meal.

"Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma are inside." Sophie Wilson said with a smile to Clarissa Taylor, who had just walked into the restaurant.

"Mom!" The little one with Clarissa Taylor exclaimed excitedly.

"Hey, sweetheart!" Sophie Wilson bent down, picked up the little one, and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

The little one’s bright eyes lit up, then quickly pecked Sophie Wilson’s cheek excitedly.

Kissed Mommy, Mommy smells so good.

Sophie Wilson playfully rubbed the little one’s cheek and said to him, "Go to the private room with Grandma first, Grandpa and Grandma are there."

"Okay." The little one obediently nodded, he also missed Grandpa and Grandma.

"Give him to me." Clarissa Taylor smiled while reaching out her hand.

In Sophie Wilson’s arms, the little one squirmed: "I’ll walk myself! Grandma’s tired."

"Oh, my little sweetheart is so considerate." Sophie Wilson happily gave him another kiss on the cheek and then put him down on the ground, instructing, "Walk holding Grandma’s hand."

"Okay." The little one obediently reached out and held Clarissa Taylor’s hand.

Sophie Wilson then laughed and said, "Mom and Dad, go on inside. I’ve also invited Uncle, he’ll be here shortly."

"Great." Hearing that her brother was coming, Clarissa Taylor was also very happy.

Just as Clarissa Taylor and the others went inside, Kai Bright walked in, waving from afar and saying hello to Sophie Wilson: "Hey sis, I’m here."

Kai Bright, still a playboy at heart, never changes. Sophie Wilson looked at him amused, wondering if he ever suffers from split personality.

"Still so unruly, and you’re engaged now." Sophie Wilson said as Kai Bright came up to her, giving him a slap on the shoulder, "Lucy, you should take care of him when needed, don’t be polite."

Lucy Wells smiled, "He’s fine."

"See, my Lucy cares about me, while you as a sister will incite my wife to deal with me upon meeting. So wicked." Kai Bright complained discontentedly.

"How about it? Do you want Mr. Seymour to handle you personally?" Sophie Wilson raised her eyebrows, asking unyieldingly.

Kai Bright turned to Lucy Wells with grievance, tugging at her clothes: "Lucy, Sophie is bullying me."

His playful demeanor made Lucy Wells giggle continuously.
