Chapter 1377: Chapter 1377: Rapid Spread

Old Mr. Seymour went upstairs with Julian Campbell, who quickly sped up and was about to knock on Charles Seymour’s office door.

Old Mr. Seymour pulled him back and directly pushed the office door open.

Julian Campbell was startled—no need to knock?

Is this okay?

This thought merely turned in Julian’s mind for a moment, then he quickly followed inside.

Once Julian was in Charles Seymour’s office, he realized that his uncle and aunt weren’t the least bit surprised.

They were sitting on the sofa, and there were four steaming cups of freshly brewed tea on the coffee table.

Did Uncle know they were coming?

"Sit down." Old Mr. Seymour was not at all polite, and he sat on the sofa beckoning Julian like a host.

"Oh." Julian responded and sat down.

Old Mr. Seymour smiled at Charles Seymour and Sophie Wilson, "You two work well together."

"In sync," Charles replied, but the warmth in his eyes made Julian’s teeth ache a bit.

Even answering a question, could his uncle show off their love?

Is this necessary?

"The Chapman family must be anxious," Old Mr. Seymour reminded these two youngsters not to overplay their hand. It’d be bad to push the Chapman family till the breaking point.

"That’s exactly what we want them to be," Sophie Wilson nonchalantly snorted, "After bullying my Mr. Seymour, can they pretend nothing happened?"

"We meant to deal with them from the start, and they keep courting disaster. If I don’t make them close their hospital, I won’t be a Wilson!" Sophie angrily clenched her fist.

The Chapman family even cooperated with James Reed, are they crazy?

If they want to court disaster, she’ll indulge them. After all, she always enjoys helping others, and she won’t fall short this time.

"Grandpa, I will protect Sophie," Charles Seymour said.

Old Mr. Seymour laughed after hearing that, "Alright, as long as you both handle things wisely. Everything else is secondary, as long as you’re both well."

"Mm." Charles nodded.

"Don’t worry, Grandpa, we’ll be fine." Sophie Wilson smiled at Old Mr. Seymour, "Let’s have lunch together, seafood."

"Okay," Old Mr. Seymour readily agreed, which made Julian look over in surprise.

Is that it?

Wasn’t Grandpa worried, and that’s why he came over?

Old Mr. Seymour reached out and patted Julian, "These two, no need for my concern. Worrying about you is enough."

Julian: "..."

Feeling inexplicably wronged.

He may not be as good as Uncle and Aunt, but he’s not that bad, right?

This "crisis" was easily resolved like that, but the reputations of Old Mr. Chapman and Ethan Seymour were no longer good.

So many employees at Peace Group witnessed this drama, and knowing the Chapman family bullied their boss, they would naturally vent online with friends, wouldn’t they?

Then the friends who heard the gossip would pass it to their friends, and their friends to other friends...

The gossip spread extraordinarily fast.

It didn’t take a day for Henry Chapman to hear the news.

He rushed to Felix Chapman’s office to anxiously share the news with his father, "Dad, what should we do? We can’t just let people outside slander us like this, can we?"

"Sophie Wilson is shameless," Felix Chapman was helpless and worried.
