Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1360: I’m Coming
Chapter 1360: Chapter 1360: I’m Coming
"That’s not very good." Sophie Wilson mused, touching her chin, "Doctors have to face reality every day. Living in their own world all the time, can they still be called doctors?"
Sophie Wilson’s conversation with the Dean naturally wasn’t lowered purposefully, allowing Henry Chapman, who had just walked a few steps away, to hear it all.
He gritted his teeth, trying hard to walk normally, not to linger, not to turn around, not to argue with Sophie Wilson.
He knew that Sophie Wilson really had a gift for talking, and he couldn’t win against her.
Earlier, he truly made a mistake; he should have held back.
Very soon, Sophie Wilson would embarrass herself publicly; why did he have to be in such a hurry?
He really got confused by Sophie Wilson’s annoyance.
The session soon moved on to case presentations. Doctors from other hospitals went on stage and started presenting various cases.
Of course, they wouldn’t go into too much detail but instead presented the issues encountered in different cases, attracting the attention of peers, while also mentioning the current condition of those patients.
As for how exactly the patients were treated, the detailed information would be shared during their afternoon lecture.
There are separate halls next to the venue, arranged for each hospital.
Every hospital presented their most attractive case.
At that time, the more peers they could attract, the more impressive it would be.
This level of attendance was also a secret competition among all.
The arrangement of this symposium was quite interesting.
Sophie Wilson sat at the bottom nonchalantly, with her laptop and earphones watching a movie.
The Dean was somewhat anxious inside, unsure of what the boss might do in a moment, especially now that the situation was quite unfavorable to them.
They were scheduled to present last in this case presentations, and the few ahead were more impressive one after another. Doctors from their hospital had previously encountered very typical cases, and they could deliver quite fascinating presentations.
But recently, the boss’s speculation seemed very reasonable to him; if the doctors from their hospital presented, they would certainly be picked apart by the audience.
In such a scenario, they would really suffer.
They didn’t have any classic cases to represent their hospital.
Finally, after all hospitals finished presenting, Henry Chapman went on and delivered a concise yet professional talk on their hospital’s typical cases. Colleagues in the venue nodded repeatedly, and quite a few expressed considerable interest, likely planning to attend Henry Chapman’s afternoon lecture to see the specific solutions.
The Dean felt a jolt of alarm; the situation seemed increasingly dangerous for them.
He turned his head, suddenly felt dizzy, almost fainting.
His boss was still watching a movie, not only watching but enjoying it thoroughly.
"Boss, it’s our turn." The Dean whispered a reminder to Sophie Wilson.
Only then did Sophie Wilson take off her earphones, glanced at him, and said, "They’re all done?"
"Once Henry Chapman finishes, it’s our turn." The Dean reminded Sophie Wilson, "He presented very impressively."
Sophie Wilson smiled slightly and said, "Henry Chapman arranged this symposium just to counter me; it’d be surprising if it weren’t impressive."
"Okay, don’t worry about it; I’ll handle it." Sophie Wilson smiled, gave the Dean a reassuring pat on the shoulder, stood up, and walked to the stage.
Just as Henry Chapman finished speaking and was about to step down.
Their eyes met in the air, and Henry Chapman’s eyes were filled with hostility.
