Chapter 210: Night Cralwers

(Your Trial inside Trial Realm Is....)

William stared at his status window with a focused look, his fist clenched as he waited to see what kind of Trial he had to complete to leave this Realm.

Knowing nothing about what kind of place the Trial Realm was or what kind of dangers lay here, William was somewhat nervous about his Trial.

But as time passed, the notification on his status window remained stuck, and no information about his Trial appeared.

William frowned and waited for a few more minutes.

But even then, nothing changed on his status window.

Slowly, William’s face darkened, and his nails dug into his flesh as he clenched his fist even harder.

"Of course, considering the fucked-up way I was thrown here, it would have been a miracle if I had found a way to return so easily." William took a deep breath and, after staring at the stuck notification for a few seconds, closed his Status Window.

"Let’s first figure out my surroundings," He muttered, and jet-black wings unfolded on his back.

Flapping them, he took to the sky and slowly moved forward.

As he flew, William noticed the gravity of this place was at least three times stronger than that of the Vermilion Realm.

If it wasn’t because of his strong body and Force Control Technique that allowed him to control the strength of his body perfectly, he would have had a hard time adjusting to the new environment so quickly.

As he rose high in the sky, William couldn’t help but frown because as far as his eyes could see, he only saw barren, desolate land in his sight.

There were no signs of any life or activity nearby.

He even used Eyes of Insight to find some clues, but there was nothing.

Around one hour later, William landed on a tall red stone cliff that looked extremely old.

"Eva, what are you doing? You have been silent since we arrived here?" William finally couldn’t help but ask the only person whom he could talk to now.

"William, this place... It’s very strange." Eva spoke in a low voice. "I have been trying to analyze its structure and the flow of time, but this place is completely different from anything I have seen until now."

"What do you mean?" William frowned upon hearing Eva’s words.

"Let’s talk about the flow of time first. The flow of time here is completely different from the Vermilion Realm. Based on what I can observe, a month here should correspond to somewhere between one and two days in Vermilion Realm. More importantly, this place seems to be completely detached from the ousted world..." Eva spoke, and her voice grew serious.

"From here, I can’t sense the presence of Cracks in Time. It means this dimension is completely cut off from the outside world, and it will be very difficult for us to find an exit to leave."

When William heard about the difference in time flow between the Trial Realm and the Vermilion Realm, he couldn’t help but sigh in relief.

He was worried that being away from the Vermilion Realm would cause some major problems.

But with the difference in time flow, he at least had a chance to return before a long time passed.

But when he heard the second part about this place being completely detached from the outside world and how hard it would be to find an exit, he fell silent.

Closing his eyes, he once again looked at his status window, and seeing the stuck notification of his Trial, he sighed.

"Maybe I will have to find out about my Trial myself if I want to leave here," He muttered and once again flapped his wings, flying forward.

There was no sun in the sky, and William wasn’t even sure from where the light illuminating the sky and the world was coming from.

But as time passed, William noticed the light was slowly fading away.

"It seems even though there is no sun and moon, this place also has a cycle of day and night," He muttered and wondered if he should find a place to stop.

After all, although he did not know anything about the Trial Realm, he knew that most of the time, the night was the most dangerous time.

He did not want to move like a headless fly during the night.

Just then, William suddenly thought of the Time Chamber he had acquired earlier.

"Eva, can I enter the Time Chamber to escape danger?"

"You can," Eva replied. "But don’t forget you need a few seconds of time to successfully enter the Time Chamber. Don’t get yourself killed during that time."

William breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing he could escape inside the Time Chamber.

"By the way, since I would enter your storage space where the Time Chamber is located, then what about you? You wouldn’t appear in the outside world in front of other people once I disappear, right?"

"Don’t worry, I have my own way to hide myself from other people."

"Is that so." William did not say anything else and nodded silently.

Soon, five hours passed since William entered the Trial Realm, and the sky was already light dim, indicating it wasn’t far from night.

Although William was flying very slowly, he still covered a distance of over a thousand kilometers and still hadn’t found anything.

Another thing that made him worry was the lack of food and water.

He had some supplies in his storage ring. But because he was sent here out of nowhere, they were limited and wouldn’t last long.

"There is also the problem of Aether Energy. In this place devoid of Aether Energy, I can only use Aether Stones or the Time Chamber to refill my Aether Energy once I use it. I need to be careful with its usage."

Just at this moment, William suddenly noticed something at a far distance, and his eyes narrowed.

"Is that... a village or something?" He muttered as he looked at the distant shadow.

Without wasting any time, William flapped his wings and flew forward rapidly.

As he got closer to his destination, William was finally able to confirm that it was indeed a village.

However, there was no living being in the village, and the stone huts and other things looked very old, as if they had been abandoned a long time ago.

Although disappointed that there was no one, William still stopped above the village and slowly came down.

It was the first thing he found that was different from the desolation he had seen so far, so he naturally wanted to see if he could find anything.

Just as William came down and his feet touched the land, the final ray of light from the sky also disappeared, and the world fell into darkness.

Suddenly, William’s Status Window flashed, and two notifications appeared before his eyes.

(The night has fallen.)

(Night Crawlers will soon begin to move)
