After Thomas Fisher drove away from home, on his way to find Alice Turner, he called for a legal consultation with the company’s attorney.

He learned from the attorney that he could get a Marriage Certificate without the household registration book; he just needed to get a household registration certificate from the local police station.

After finishing the call with the attorney, Thomas immediately rushed to the local police station where his household registration was located, and he obtained a household registration certificate there.

About an hour later, Thomas and Alice met at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau, hand in hand, and happily walked into the hall to process the certificate.

"Why are you holding this?"

Knowing the truth, Alice chose not to expose it, replying to Thomas with an equally bright smile, "Hmm, makes sense."

Thomas reached out and held Alice’s hand. How could he be willing to let go of such an understanding woman? He wanted to hold her hand for a lifetime.

"Hello, you two! Please sign here."

The staff pushed two forms to Alice and Thomas, asking them to sign.

The two of them signed properly and immediately pushed the forms back to the staff, after which they patiently waited to receive the red booklet.

Thomas held the red booklet and looked at it repeatedly, his face showing uncontrollable excitement and joy, with tears of happiness glistening in his eyes.

"Alice! We are finally legally married." Having stared at the Marriage Certificate for a long time, he turned sideways and pulled the woman beside him into his arms.
