Chapter 256: Chapter 256: So This Is How The Rich Live!

Julian had already told the Trainers in advance that he had something to do tomorrow and needed to go out. Setting off now was indeed fine.

The aircraft had made such a huge commotion that both Darius and Kai ran out to look.

"What’s going on?"

Julian said, "I need to go to Kanto to pick up my little sister, and Cynthia somehow got hold of this luxury aircraft."

"She’s letting me take this aircraft to find Maylene."

Cynthia smiled slightly.

"I have a friend whose family has a little money. After hearing about that matter, she wanted to come along."

"When we go to Alola, we can also take this airship directly. It’ll be much more convenient than taking a plane."

Darius looked at Cynthia, then at Julian.

Not bad, son!

When had his relationship with Elite Four Cynthia become this good?

"Alright, you two go. Leave Veilstone Gym to me and Kai."

Julian nodded.

"Cynthia, wait here for a moment. I’ll go get my things."

Darius also hurried back.

"Kai, go cut up the watermelon I bought and bring it out. Let Miss Cynthia have something refreshing."

Cynthia hurriedly waved her hand.

"There’s no need. We’re setting off immediately, so we won’t eat anything."

Darius could only give up.

"Come visit Veilstone Gym again next time. I’ll have Julian make you Veilstone City specialities!"

Cynthia smiled in response.

"No problem."

Julian quickly came out carrying a large bag, all twelve Poké Balls hanging from his belt.

Julian boarded the flying car.

"Cynthia, let’s go."

Cynthia started the aircraft and brought Julian back to the flying fortress in the sky.

The interior decoration was extremely luxurious, like a castle where a princess might live.

Cynthia directly brought Julian to the flying fortress’s main room.

A young girl wearing a mask sat there, holding the kind of elegant fan expected of a noble young lady.

She opened the fan and held it in front of her face.

"Nice to meet you. I’m Cynthia’s friend, Caitlin."

Julian nodded.

"Hello, Miss Caitlin. I’m Julian Veyne."

Beside Caitlin stood a handsome middle-aged man.

"I am the butler, Darach. Young Master Julian, please tell me if you need anything."

This Caitlin really thought wearing a mask counted as a disguise.

She had not even changed her hairstyle.

Did she think Julian would not recognise her true identity like this?

No.

Caitlin was her true identity.

What she was afraid of was Julian recognising her previous disguised identity.

Kale!

Unfortunately, Cynthia had already exposed her own identity.

So when Julian saw Caitlin, he recognised her at first glance.

Cynthia smiled and said, "Caitlin is a very powerful Psychic. You two can exchange some insights on using Psychic Power."

Julian smiled.

"My Psychic Power is like a firefly compared to the bright sun that is Miss Caitlin."

"I imagine Miss Caitlin must be troubled by her Psychic Power being too powerful. I do have a method that may be of some help."

Caitlin’s eyes lit up.

"What method?"

Julian smiled and said, "Constantly suppressing it will only make the next loss of control more intense. You can let Psychic-type Pokémon help."

"They can digest and absorb your Psychic Power. Not only will that strengthen them, it will also release the energy you’ve accumulated."

"But at the start, you’ll need a Pokémon with strong Psychic Power to cooperate with you. You and the Pokémon will guide the energy in both directions."

Cynthia frowned and asked, "Are you sure this method can work?"

Caitlin’s problem had not been solved partly because her talent was too strong.

Her family had always wanted to find a safe method that prevented her from being harmed during treatment.

Recently, her family had already planned to send her to Unova, where Psychic research was widespread, to receive the latest laboratory therapy.

Butler Darach was actually only responsible for Caitlin alone.

He had come specifically to assist Caitlin in regulating her power.

Darach also looked at Julian, waiting to hear his explanation.

Caitlin was the most expectant. If this method worked, she would not need to go to Unova.

She liked Sinnoh’s scenery and had no particular interest in Unova.

Julian nodded.

"Cynthia, you know my Psychic ability was temporarily strengthened. At first, the excess Psychic energy was difficult to control, so I trained with Gallade."

"During that training, I found that Gallade could help guide and stabilise it with his own psychic senses."

"At the same time, some of that energy flowed back to him, sharpening his focus and strengthening his Psychic Power. It became a two-way exercise: Gallade helped me control the excess energy, and the training helped him improve too."

Darach pushed up his glasses.

"After we arrive in Kanto, I will suggest that a local friend help find a suitable Psychic-type Pokémon."

"The method Young Master Julian has provided does indeed have some possibility of being applied to Lady Caitlin."

Caitlin was also very excited.

"Cynthia, once I train six Psychic Pokémon, I’ll challenge you!"

"I’m going to become one of the Elite Four too. From now on, call me Caitlin, the Psychic Elite Four member!"

Cynthia smiled and nodded.

"Alright. I welcome your challenge."

Then she looked at Julian.

"You’re in trouble. With one sentence, you’ve created a powerful opponent for yourself."

"Can you still smoothly challenge the Elite Four as a Fighting-type Elite Four candidate?"

Julian cooperated with Cynthia and shook his head.

"No, no, it’s over. My dream of becoming one of the Elite Four is going to be crushed by Miss Caitlin, the Psychic Elite Four member."

Caitlin stood up directly.

"You two, don’t go too far!"

Caitlin angrily waved her little fists.

"One day, I’ll beat both of you flat!"

Cynthia and Julian nodded at the same time.

"I’ll be waiting for you."

They spoke so perfectly in sync that Caitlin narrowed her eyes.

You two really do have the air of a married couple

Caitlin glared at Cynthia.

"I’m going back to sleep!"

The next time she appeared as Kale, she would definitely make Cynthia pay!

Darach smiled and said, "Young Master Julian, please follow me. I’ll arrange your room."

Cynthia smiled.

"Put your things down and come back. We can watch films here too. They’ve got nearly every good film you can think of here.."

Caitlin liked watching films, so many movie discs had been collected here.

Julian nodded and followed Darach to put away his equipment before returning to the main room.

Cynthia pointed at the discs on the shelf.

"Is there anything you want to watch?"

Julian shrugged.

"You choose. I’m fine with anything."

Cynthia nodded.

"Then let’s watch this romance film starring Diantha, Kalos’s rising young actress."

Cynthia placed the disc into the machine, and the large screen in the main room began playing.

The picture was extremely clear, and the screen was even slightly larger than a cinema screen. The surround sound made it feel as if they were inside the film itself.

Sitting on the sofa to watch it was the ultimate enjoyment.

This was what a private cinema should be!

Darach appeared with two glasses of juice and some snacks.

"Please enjoy. If you need anything, use the phone on the wall to notify me."

Darach turned and left, allowing the two of them to enjoy the film in peace.

Julian took a sip of juice and comfortably leaned back on the expensive sofa.

So this is the life of the rich?
