Chapter 802: 802:Is This Cultivation?

"It’s all karma that you are reaping?"

"What karma?" Cedric shouted and glared at Ethan.

"They are just a group of garbage which I thought was useful."

"Aren’t you ashamed to address humans as trash?" Ethan retorted.

Cedric stared at him for a moment before snorting.

"Then what about you? Don’t you kill animals for meat and savor them? Aren’t they lives too? In my eyes, these humans are nothing but a group of dogs and chickens whom I can use as I please."

His words made Ethan’s lips shut up.

Even Lancelot, Rathlos and the allied army found their lips twitching slightly.

Ethan considered himself to be quite good at arguing and ragebaiting, but even he found himself at a loss now.

Should he deny it or not?

Denying it would make him seem like a hypocrite, wouldn’t it?

For a moment, Ethan simply remained silent.

’Fuck!’

’This guy is a problem in ragebaiting.’

Seeing Ethan keeping mum, Cedric snorted.

"See... Even you don’t have anything to say now."

Saying this, he looked at Dorian.

"We can’t go on like this.. We need to release that thing."

Dorian’s eyes narrowed when he heard this. He glanced at the parchment in his hand and then looked toward Cedric.

"It might be dangerous.."

He was about to say something when Ethan suddenly attacked with a roar.

"They are hatching some troublesome plan.. Move.."

Ethan’s figure disappeared from where he was standing and rushed toward them with terrifying speed.

"Pass it to me.." Valen roared.

Dorian was startled for a moment before immediately giving the parchment to Valen.

Ethan moved swiftly to attack, but Cedric suddenly rushed toward him.

"Fuckk!"

Ethan roared and punched with terrifying might.

His fist tore through the air and created a loud sonic shockwave that blasted Cedric away. The force sent Cedric flying backward as the ground beneath him cracked from the impact.

Ethan didn’t stop.

He immediately turned toward Valen and moved to punch him, but a loud shout suddenly emerged from behind.

"Ethaaan dodge!"

Ethan’s eyes widened as he turned his head.

Valen was already tearing the paper.

The moment Ethan saw it, the same dangerous feeling from before immediately returned.

He didn’t dare to be negligent.

Ethan quickly abandoned his attack and ran away at full speed.

The moment Valen tore the parchment apart, the strange symbols on its surface suddenly lit up. A terrifying pressure spread across the battlefield, and before anyone could react, a huge sword attack burst out from the torn paper.

The sword attack tore across the world with terrifying speed. It was so massive that the sky itself seemed to split apart as it moved. The earth below trembled from its presence, and the clouds were pushed away by the force of the attack.

This time, however, its direction was different.

It was moving straight toward the Capital.

Everyone who saw it was left awe struck.

The allied forces, the remaining members of the Families and even the people inside the Capital stared at the incoming sword attack with horror. The attack was simply too massive, and its strength was enough to make even the Transcendent Knights feel a chill running through their bodies.

Ethan’s eyes widened as he looked at it.

The mass and strength of the attack made him gasp in shock.

"What the..."

His body instinctively wanted to avoid it. With his speed, he could easily move away from its path, but the moment he looked behind the attack, his expression changed.

The Capital was directly behind it.

If that attack reached the Capital, everything in its path would be destroyed.

Ethan gritted his teeth.

He couldn’t avoid it.He had to stop it.

Without wasting another second, Ethan rushed forward toward the incoming attack. His greatsword appeared in his hand, and he gripped it tightly with both hands as his entire body erupted with power.

The sword attack reached him.

Ethan swung his greatsword with all his strength.

The moment the two attacks collided, a tremendous blast exploded across the sky.

The entire battlefield shook.

Ethan’s body was pushed backward as the enormous sword attack continued pressing against his greatsword. His feet dragged through the air as he struggled to hold it back, and his arms trembled under the terrifying force.

"Damn!"

Ethan gritted his teeth and poured even more strength into his greatsword.

The sword attack was simply too powerful.

For a moment, Ethan felt as if his entire body was about to be crushed beneath it. He couldn’t completely stop it, so he slowly changed the direction of his greatsword and tried to force the attack upward.

It took tremendous effort.

Ethan’s muscles tightened as he pushed with everything he had.

Slowly, the huge sword attack began to rise.

Then, with one final burst of strength, Ethan finally managed to send it upward into the sky.

The attack shot toward the heavens.

A great blast followed, and the entire sky lit up as the enormous sword force disappeared into the distance. The clouds were torn apart, and the light spread across the heavens for several moments before slowly fading.

Ethan remained suspended in the air.

He stood there in horror as he looked toward the Capital.

Half of the Capital had been cleaved.

A massive scar had been carved through the city, cutting across buildings and streets. Countless structures had been destroyed, and dust continued rising from the ruined areas.

Ethan slowly turned around.

The people of the Capital had already begun running away. Most of them had escaped after seeing the previous destruction, and only a very small number of people remained behind.

Those who were still there looked toward Ethan.

They had witnessed what had just happened.

They had seen the enormous sword attack coming toward them, and they had seen Ethan rush forward alone to stop it.

The cheering quickly became louder as more people realized that Ethan had once again protected them.

Ethan completely ignored the loud cheering.

He didn’t even turn toward them.

His mind was entirely focused on the attack.

That sword attack and the strange parchment.

The moment he saw the attack coming out from the paper, a familiar memory suddenly appeared in his mind.

Ethan’s expression slowly changed.

He stared at the sky where the sword attack had disappeared, and his eyes narrowed as he tried to remember where he had seen something like this before.
