Chapter 803: 803:A Cultivator

Ethan squeezed his fists and almost grabbed his head.

Tearing a scroll to send out a sword attack.

Isn’t that a talisman cultivator used?

It couldn’t be a scroll because scrolls record magic attacks to be used later, but this was a sword attack.

’Now that I think..Isn’t the phantom used by Garrick similar to Martial Soul attacks condensed by the armies.’

’Holy shit?’

’Are you kidding me?’

’How did stuff from cultivation come out here?’

The more Ethan thought about it, the more uneasy he became. This was no longer something he could simply ignore as a strange coincidence. The things he had seen were too similar to the cultivation stories and concepts he knew.

Now this was terrifying him.

Ethan immediately got up and rushed forward to see what was happening, only to suddenly pause when a terrifying aura came from ahead.

His expression changed instantly.

"Theeee fuckkkkkk!"

He roared in utmost horror as his eyeballs almost bulged out of their sockets.

Because before him stood a figure floating in the air.

The figure had a youthful appearance, yet he was graced with an immortal-like look. His long black hair flowed behind him, and he wore long green robes that looked similar to the Hanfu worn by cultivators in Chinese dramas. The clothes moved gently in the air despite there being no wind, and his entire appearance gave off a strange feeling that didn’t belong to this world.

There was no way Ethan knew this type of clothing.

Because he had created this type of designs for Chinese actors playing cultivators in a drama.

"He..."

Ethan’s voice stammered as he stared at the figure, completely unable to understand what was going on.

At that moment, Duke Lancelot’s voice suddenly came from below.

"Where did you bring this joker?"

Lancelot spoke with a grim expression as he pulled out his sword and slowly raised it toward the green-robed figure.

Dorian didn’t take him seriously at all.

He simply looked toward the figure and shouted.

"Go and kill them."

The green-robed figure moved.

His body shot forward with terrifying speed, and the distance between him and Lancelot disappeared in an instant.

Lancelot’s expression became serious.

He swung his sword casually, as if he simply wanted to test the strength of the strange figure.

CLLAAANH!

A metallic sound emerged.

The green-robed figure had grabbed the sword with his bare hand.

Lancelot’s eyes widened slightly.

The man’s fingers were completely unharmed, and the sharp blade had failed to even cut his skin.

The next moment, the green-robed figure clenched his left fist and punched.

Lancelot immediately raised both arms to defend himself.

As the fist landed a terrifying momentum exploded from the impact and sent Lancelot flying backward. His body shot across the battlefield for several kilometres before he finally managed to control his momentum.

He stopped himself in the air and looked down at his left arm.

His expression became ugly and his arm was almost broken.

"A knight who cultivated its body."

Lancelot gritted his teeth as he looked toward the green-robed figure.

His eyes became extremely serious.

"Everyone..Attack him at once..He is dangerous..We need to take him out."

Rathlos and Garron immediately understood the gravity of the situation. Seeing Lancelot being sent flying from a single punch was enough to make them realize that the green-robed figure wasn’t someone they could underestimate.

The two exchanged a quick glance before rushing forward at the same time.

Rathlos released all of his strength and swung his weapon toward the green-robed figure, while Garron moved from the other side and launched a powerful attack toward his body. Their attacks came from both sides, and the force behind them caused the surrounding air to shake.

The green-robed figure remained calm.

He raised both hands and defended against their attacks.

CLANG!

A loud metallic sound echoed across the battlefield as Rathlos’s weapon was stopped. At almost the same time, Garron’s attack was also blocked. The green-robed figure didn’t move even an inch under the combined force of their attacks.

Rathlos’s eyes widened.

Garron’s expression also changed.

The two immediately increased their strength and attacked again. Rathlos changed his angle and swung toward the figure’s shoulder, while Garron attacked from below. The green-robed figure moved his body slightly and avoided both attacks before pushing them away with his palms.

The three exchanged several moves in a short moment.

Rathlos attacked again and again, but the green-robed figure calmly defended every strike. Garron also tried to find an opening, but every time he moved forward, the green-robed figure was already prepared.

Their brief exchange ended with both Rathlos and Garron being forced backward.

The two stabilized themselves in the air and stared at the green-robed figure with disbelief.

They had fought countless powerful warriors before, but they had never seen swordsmanship and movement like this.

The green-robed man slowly reached behind him and pulled out his sword.

The moment the sword appeared in his hand, the atmosphere around him changed.

He casually swung the sword.

Sharp sword energy immediately shot out in every direction.

The sword energy cut through the air and rushed toward Rathlos and Garron. They quickly moved away, but the sharp energy continued chasing them and tore through everything in its path.

"What’s up with these unusual moves?"

Rathlos frowned deeply as he deflected one of the incoming attacks. The moment his weapon touched the sword energy, a sharp force traveled through his arm and made his fingers tremble.

Garron also blocked another sword attack and stared at the green-robed figure in shock.

"Just what kind of swordsmanship is this?"

His expression became serious as another wave of sword energy rushed toward him.

Garron raised his weapon and tried to deflect the attack.

But the moment the sword energy touched his weapon, something unexpected happened.

The sharp energy didn’t simply disappear after being deflected.

It invaded his body.

Garron’s pupils shrank as a strange stinging sensation spread through his arm. The energy moved through his body like countless tiny blades, and his muscles tightened from the pain.

"Ugh!"

Garron gritted his teeth and quickly tried to force the energy out, but it had already spread deeper into his body.
