Chapter 1377 - 1374: Blood Integration

At this moment, Igor felt extremely embarrassed, as he had made a significant mistake by overlooking the aspect of Spirit Power.

Because he failed to notice this, he started to doubt whether the unfamiliar face belonged to Xiso.

It's important to know that in the dark room, he hadn't had a chance to get a good look at Xiso; he relied entirely on Spirit Sensing.

He sensed Xiso's Spirit Power and thus confirmed it was him. On the way carrying Xiso, he never looked back, relying solely on Spirit Sensing to perceive who was on his back…

However, upon arrival here, he forgot about the Spirit Power issue, nearly causing a big joke.

This truly should not have happened.

Igor patted his forehead, thinking, why did he have to act so foolishly at this time!

"Stop standing there, Igor, quickly help me move Xiso inside, I can't control so many things on my own."

Princess Juliette reminded Igor, as they were still at the garden entrance, and Xiso couldn't just lie at the entrance…

Igor understood and hastily proceeded to assist the plants in moving Xiso into a room deep within the garden.

"This place is sufficiently hidden, and the people from the Alchemy Workshop won't find it anytime soon; it's a good spot for Xiso to heal." Princess Juliette said.

"Now we need to hurry with treatment for Xiso; I don't know when the wizards from the Kangen family can get here." Igor was still very concerned for Xiso's condition, hoping the Kangen family members could come to heal him.

"I have studied wizardry too, we don't need to wait for the Kangen family people." Princess Juliette said softly, meanwhile checking on Xiso; clearly, his injuries were severe and couldn't wait.

Igor also watched with concern; his knowledge of wizardry was minimal, so he just watched.

"Hmm, Xiso has lost so much blood; his survival relies entirely on sheer willpower!" Clearly, Princess Juliette was an outstanding wizard; she finished examining Xiso and naturally concluded what Igor already suspected.

Xiso had indeed been bled by Kuyi Tulan…

Knowing Xiso's condition, Igor felt slightly steadier; at this moment, he also calmed down.

When he saw Princess Juliette prepare all sorts of healing tools for Xiso, he thought of the people behind them.

First came to mind was Kadi, the fellow who bought them time to escape. This guy was likely still confronting Kuyi Tulan, possibly at a disadvantage, needing his help!

Seeing that Xiso was safe, Igor felt he had to go help Kadi.

"Princess, I'll leave taking care of Xiso to you; I need to go assist Kadi!" Igor said to Princess Juliette.

"Oh, but you can't leave now; Xiso needs blood, and I can sense your blood can be integrated." Princess Juliette said. Her achievements in wizardry were on par with those of a cloak of sainthood, reflecting her ability to judge Igor and Xiso's blood.

Igor was naturally surprised by this situation; he looked at Xiso and suddenly remembered Kadi's resolute words.

Indeed, only by settling Xiso properly could he justify Kadi's decision.

Otherwise, he would be letting Kadi down!

"If that's the case, Princess, please hurry, I want Xiso to recover quickly!" Igor said to Princess Juliette, knowing that blood integration meant transferring his blood to Xiso.

"Alright, this process isn't easy and is quite time-consuming; I need you to calm your mind and avoid distractions." Princess Juliette warned.

"Okay, I can do it; I can do anything to heal Xiso!" Igor seemed to be making a vow.

"Very good, keep this mindset; sit next to Xiso while I connect you both." Princess Juliette slowly guided Igor; blood integration was a complex process not attempted by ordinary wizards. Princess Juliette was skilled and bold.

A slender plant root suddenly pierced Igor's arm, with the other end twisting to puncture Xiso nearby.

Soon, the root started to flow with Igor's blood, which gradually transferred from him to Xiso.

Xiso, initially pallid, gradually regained vitality, with a hint of color returning to his face.

The entire integration process was very slow; Princess Juliette, due to her pregnancy, couldn't remain by their side the whole time, pacing the garden and occasionally comforting Igor.

Igor had just emerged from such an environment, naturally feeling uneasy, even more so since Kadi hadn't returned with them.

Princess Juliette understood Igor endured much; her comfort might not be effective, but she didn't want to see Igor in pain, so she offered consolation.

The period of blood integration passed like this; Igor thought a lot during this time, also anticipating Xiso's awakening because, in some ways, Xiso knew more than they did.

Princess Juliette tidied the surrounding things, then looked at Igor frowning, clearly seeing through his worries.

"Earlier, during the blood integration, I refrained from asking about Kadi to not affect your mood; can you tell me about his situation now?"

Princess Juliette asked, concerned about the unfolding events.

"He's in danger. He's fighting Kuyi Tulan alone!" Igor replied, his heart filled with grief at mentioning Kadi.

"Did you encounter Kuyi Tulan?" Princess Juliette obviously couldn't believe Igor and their experience.

"Yes, we did fight. No, I must go help Kadi; he's in a perilous situation!" Igor quickly stood up from his seat, suddenly feeling dizzy!

"You're weak now; you can't exert yourself!" Princess Juliette, with her pregnant belly, went to support Igor.

"Princess!" Igor felt very apologetic, quickly sitting down again, not expecting blood integration to be so exhausting. In fact, it was a reaction from earlier energy expenditure in the dark room…

"Take a good rest, there are others handling things outside; you've done well, no need to worry!"
