Chapter 1376 - 1373: True Appearance

Igor carried Xiso step by step toward Princess Juliette's garden, knowing only there would be safe.

Throughout the journey, he remained vigilant, aware that many were covering for him from behind.

Be it Kadi or the members of the Kangen family, all were providing cover without retreat, resolute in their resistance. They sought nothing in return, only for Igor to smoothly complete his mission.

There were choices and sacrifices, and everyone made a firm decision at this moment; resisting for the greater good, for the entire world.

Those evil forces would eventually fall, one day turning to ashes.

Igor knew he couldn't relax, he must safely bring Xiso to Princess Juliette's garden.

Otherwise, he would let down Kadi and all those who covered for him.

Igor could tell their plan was progressing smoothly, for he had encountered no trouble along the way.

Evidently, his companions had done their utmost; the elites from the Alchemy Workshop were held off by the Kangen family, while Kadi tirelessly prevented Kuyi Tulan. Clearly, all was going well for them now.

Igor quickened his pace, aware of Xiso's need for rest, sensing his weakened body. Before, in that dark chamber, Xiso had exhausted all his strength, not reacting even when Kadi made choices, clearly having fainted.

Xiso now needed proper healing, a reason for Igor to secure time.

Fortunately, with the help of these plants, Igor quickly reached Princess Juliette's garden.

Princess Juliette had been waiting at the garden gate early, her face showing anxiousness, carrying a pregnancy.

"Quick!" The first word Igor said upon seeing Princess Juliette was "Quick!"

"Relax, Igor, relax!" Princess Juliette comforted Igor, aware he had undergone an indescribable ordeal, needing to calm his emotions.

"Xiso, Senior Xiso needs treatment, quickly!" Igor insisted anxiously, having no time to rest.

"Okay, I'll arrange, I'll handle it!" With a wave, a few plants in the garden allied, slowly spreading out into a comfortable bed.

"Mm!" Igor hurriedly set Xiso down from his shoulders, gently placing him on the plant bed, clearly concerned about Xiso's condition.

He moved gingerly, ensuring Xiso was lying stable, afraid of hurting him with heavy hands.

"Huh!" Putting Xiso down, Igor felt strange seeing Xiso's face, vastly different from what he remembered!

Could he have carried the wrong person?

Or had someone tampered along the way, why was the person lying here not Xiso!

Igor's heart swirled with doubts, as the face before him was unfamiliar! Far from the visage he knew.

The Xiso in his memory had a pale face, parched skin, but this face, though still pale, had skin that wasn't as dry anymore, seemingly not a monster's visage any longer!

"This..." Igor couldn't help exclaiming, the unfamiliar face before him causing panic. He kept thinking if he'd carried the wrong person, or saved the wrong person, what would he do?

Logically, inside that spacious chamber, shouldn't have been anyone else, why had he carried out an unfamiliar face?

"What's wrong!" Princess Juliette checked Xiso lying on the plant bed, glancing at the terrified Igor.

"This, this..." Igor dared not voice his inner thoughts, feeling this wasn't Xiso.

"Do you feel unwell?" Princess Juliette didn't know Igor's thoughts, assuming it was an abnormal reaction from his experiences.

To Princess Juliette, Igor and they went through many misfortunes, she hadn't yet inquired about Kadi's situation...

"This, this face..." Igor anxiously turned to Princess Juliette, "This face is very unfamiliar!"

Princess Juliette froze at Igor's words, then looked at Xiso again, smiling.

"Before appearance..." Igor scratched his head, clearly not having considered this.

"This is Xiso, Igor, the face you find unfamiliar is merely his true self!"

"True self!" Igor felt shocked, could Xiso have transformed from a monster back to a human?

"Yes, this was Xiso's appearance before," Princess Juliette's eyes welled with tears from joy.

"Bigas would be overjoyed seeing this; Xiso actually regained his former appearance."

Igor scratched his head, unfamiliar with Xiso's original face, unsure what to say, but from a monster back to a normal person sounded mystical, many on Guru Mountain were in such a state, choosing seclusion because of their faces.

Such things felt awkward to Igor, wanting to remind Princess Juliette not to be deceived by appearances!

However, he couldn't voice it, feeling awkward. Igor merely scratched his head repeatedly...

"But, could this be just an appearance..." Ultimately Igor couldn't help but express his concern.

"Oh, Igor, this isn't merely appearance, Xiso is Xiso; you might not believe this face, but you must believe this spirit power; spirit power doesn't deceive," Princess Juliette said, enlightening Igor.

With this, Igor suddenly understood, realizing he'd been muddled, forgetting about spirit power!
