Kuyi Tulan couldn't help but smile when he thought of this dark chamber; this was his domain, what was there to fear? Even though he currently seemed to be on the defensive, he wasn't worried at all about being defeated.

This was his dark chamber; he was well aware of everything here, whereas the people across from him were completely unfamiliar with it all.

Unfamiliar to the utmost degree.

Facing a bunch of unknowns, they were helpless. Apart from venting their displeasure with brute force like the guy in front of them, there was nothing they could do.

Even if they had the entire strategic mind of the Kayne Empire, it would be of no avail.

A rampant laugh resounded through the entire dark chamber again, its owner looking at everyone with a disdainful gaze, as if everything was under his control.

Igor was quite puzzled. Why was Kuyi Tulan so calm and composed, even emitting such a rampant laugh while barely defending himself?

What on earth was he mocking? What exactly did he want to say?

Igor's mind was filled with confusion.

"Quick..." Suddenly, Xiso, beside Igor, started trembling all over, a sign of his worry. Igor quickly steadied Zhang Weiwei, to help him express his thoughts calmly.

"Quick... quickly get Kadi to stop. We can't let him forcefully engage here..." Xiso was quite anxious but still expressed his meaning calmly.

Although Igor didn't fully understand the specific reasons, he realized they couldn't let Kadi engage recklessly. They must stop him. Xiso's anxious demeanor indicated there must be a trap here.

After all, they were unfamiliar with this place! They had no idea what traps might be here.

"Don't mind me!" Xiso gave Igor a push, clearly displeased by Igor's inaction, although the entire process hadn't taken much time.

"Senior..." Igor initially wanted to say something more, but was abruptly interrupted by Xiso.

"Don't worry about me, quickly stop Kadi!" Xiso's face had completely changed, seeming like something very serious would happen if Kadi wasn't stopped.

Igor had to release Xiso, speeding up his pace towards Kadi, only then could he timely stop Kadi.

The application of Devil's Steps was well executed, and before long, Igor was in front of Kadi.

"Kadi!" Igor grabbed Kadi, his hands throbbing with pain, but the pain had its effect, as Kadi halted his attack.

"Why are you stopping me!" Kadi asked, obviously dissatisfied with the current situation. He felt he was on the verge of subduing Kuyi Tulan, but now he was held back by Igor, wanting a reasonable explanation from him.

"Don't be impulsive, beware of the trap!" Igor briefly explained the situation without going into details, as he wasn't entirely certain, but Xiso's demeanor made him cautious.

Just as Kadi was about to get angry, Kuyi Tulan spoke.

"It's fortunate that among you, there is someone who understands. Those who walk by brute force, in the end, become very fragile, and you indeed are fragile."

This was a taunt, aimed at Kadi.

Kadi gritted his teeth, eager to rush in and strike Kuyi Tulan, but Igor held him firmly.

"Quickly return to Xiso, Kuyi Tulan is acting out of sorts!" Igor said.

Kadi took Igor's words to heart. Although Igor had interrupted him, he accepted it willingly as he realized he had been somewhat impulsive.

During his charge towards Kuyi Tulan, his flames were continuously affected, feeling the terror of the flames, as if Kuyi Tulan had some nemesis of those flames.

"Senior Xiso!" Igor once again helped Xiso up. The weakened Xiso looked at Kadi and smiled.

"Heh, you all understand now. This place is mine, reckless actions would trap you all in a cage. To be honest, I appreciate opponents like you, value opponents like you..." Kuyi Tulan continued his topic, regardless of whether Igor and the others understood or not.

"What are you trying to say!" Kadi asked angrily, fed up with the guessing game.

"I, I just wanted to say, next it's your turn."

Having said that, Kuyi Tulan burst into laughter, like a child who heard a joke.

"Kadi, this, this place is full of traps. Don't fall into his snare." Xiso, holding himself up, said to Kadi.

Neither Igor nor Kadi could see where the traps were, but they felt Xiso was right, given the unusual atmosphere they sensed.

"In this dark chamber, energy is limited..." Xiso said again, this time with more difficulty.

"Huh?" Kadi and Igor were both shocked, but they could distinctly feel their strength waning, as if the spirit power they could control was decreasing.

"Haha, as expected of Xiso, you could see that the greatest feature of this dark chamber is the constant depletion of energy. This is why I was able to defeat that spirit here."

Igor and Kadi still didn't quite understand.

This strange phenomenon and its relation to the dark chamber; why the energy was being depleted.

"It relates to the abnormalities in my body!" Xiso said heavily, his teeth gritting as he spoke of it.

"Haha, it was custom-made for you, Xiso Glass. This dark chamber was built to obtain those precious materials on you!"

Kuyi Tulan said once more, becoming rampant again, having recovered considerably in a short period.

It was the spirit power granted to him, reducing his recovery time significantly, now back in a layer of spirit power state.

"If Kadi continues to attack recklessly, it will deplete the energy of the entire space, and when that happens, we'll be caught without resistance."

Xiso's words left Kadi somewhat confused, but Igor understood perfectly.

All their skills, including physique techniques, depended on energy to some extent, akin to the air, indispensable for survival.

Such relentless attacks by Kadi would sap all the energy, leaving them no chance in this sealed space to overcome Kuyi Tulan.

This was a very serious matter. Although Kuyi Tulan too would be without energy at that point, this place was his home ground, familiar with every nook and cranny...
