One-Eyed Monster

Chapter 1370 - 1367: Unfavorable Situation

  • Next Chapter

This situation is extremely unfavorable for Igor and his team. Their strengths are being restrained, and they can't unleash their abilities.

Igor feels as if they're bound to a column, unable to wield their skills. They're completely passive, like lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

At this moment, Kuyi Tulan begins to laugh arrogantly again, as if this guy has endless reasons to laugh.

On the surface, it's provocation and ridicule, but in reality, it's a kind of crushing that others cannot comprehend.

This crushing is both mental and physical, coming from all directions.

Igor and Kadi now feel they can't exert their strength; even if they did, they dare not. They look to Xiso, hoping this think-tank can offer them some advice.

Unfortunately, the think-tank is also exhausted at this point, having been tormented here for a long time.

"I've prepared this place early on, just to deal with this Spirit!" Kuyi Tulan begins to narrate, not caring that his secrets are exposed, as if he possesses such arrogance.

Only those with power can be so arrogant. For some reason, Kuyi Tulan endlessly flaunts all his plans, seemingly desperate for everyone to know his cleverness and competence.

This feeling makes Igor and Kadi very unhappy. It's not the words that make them uncomfortable, but the words feel like a Soundwave Attack, making them feel beaten down. They don't know what's going on; maybe it's the special circumstances of this chamber...

"However, I never expected to encounter you guys here. Although I imagined you'd come here, I didn't anticipate it'd be so soon. It's truly beyond my expectations!" Kuyi Tulan expresses, each word conveying the sense of stumbling upon a priceless treasure. His words are full of surprise and expectation.

Igor is very worried about the current situation, as they are indeed in a disadvantageous position, unable to fully extend their arms and legs, utterly passive. If things continue this way, they'll only end up getting beaten up by Kuyi Tulan. But they must hold their ground, even if it means taking a beating—they must stand and take it!

"We must rescue Xiso, that's all!" Igor doesn't say much, feeling it's unnecessary, as Kuyi Tulan won't listen to them, so there's no need to waste breath.

"Exactly, Xiso is a treasure; I've refrained from extracting his Spirit Core because he's a treasure all over."

Kuyi Tulan shifts the topic to Xiso, no longer the chief of the Alchemy Workshop, but seemingly becoming a Shadow Ghost who commands everything. Even though he claims he's still Kuyi Tulan, the arrogance after gaining Energy inadvertently shows.

Kadi grits his teeth, uncertain about what to do. If he exerted too much effort, he'd put his team at a disadvantage. Doing nothing, they'd end up oppressed like this, which is an unacceptable result for him.

Unfortunately, Xiso is now exhausted, seemingly on the brink of death, and neither Kadi nor Igor can bear to disturb him, even though Xiso is still trying instinctively to straighten his body.

"Previously, I thought I only needed to leave the Devouring Power here, but now I've changed my mind. I want to leave all of you here!" Kuyi Tulan exclaimed, already in a state of madness.

Clearly, Kuyi Tulan's abilities have revived somewhat over this period, enough for him to show off here.

Igor and Kadi are not ones to sit idly by. They're observing, looking for weaknesses in this chamber, seeking vulnerabilities in Kuyi Tulan. But even after many battles, they haven't discovered Kuyi Tulan's weaknesses—they're utterly puzzled.

"Now, you can enjoy this chamber," Kuyi Tulan said confidently, seemingly highly confident in this chamber.

After speaking, Kuyi Tulan moved to leave, intending to leave Igor and his team here alone...

"Stop... stop him!" Xiso weakly murmured.

Every word from Xiso is critical, and Igor and Kadi understand that the exhausted think-tank wouldn't speak unless it was necessary. If Xiso says to stop Kuyi Tulan, they must stop him.

Since using Spirit Power expends a lot of Energy, in this energy-limited enclosed space, they're forced to choose other methods.

Trash talk consumes less Energy, but it poses no threat to Kuyi Tulan, so that method is abandoned—they opt for Physique Technique to stop him.

Physique Technique also consumes Energy, but compared to Spirit Power, it consumes less.

Though Igor and his team don't know why they're compelled to stop Kuyi Tulan, they charge forward regardless, determined to fight back against Kuyi Tulan's strength!

"Hmph, I intended to spare you some pain, to slowly drain your Energy here, but since you offered yourselves, I can't be blamed." Kuyi Tulan defended against Igor's fist, dodged Kadi's flying kick, and hovered in mid-air with a strong presence.

"How can he fly again..." Kadi questioned the situation, unable to hold back his curiosity.

"Accept your defeat gracefully; the weak can only gaze upward!"

The words were harsh, yet accurately described Igor and Kadi's predicament. No matter what, Kuyi Tulan stands comfortably above them, looking down.

They couldn't think of a better strategy than attacking with Physique Technique.

The Energy in this space continues to diminish...

Something seems to be absorbing this Energy here, and it appears tougher than the Devouring Power, seemingly demanding more Energy. Regardless, Igor and his team must take each step as it comes.

The confrontation with Kuyi Tulan has only begun, but they're already far behind—it's a frustrating reality...
