Chapter 1284 - 1280: The Unknown and the Known (Part 2)

Princess Juliette's question was like a key, a key that could open a great door. But how to obtain this key was a big problem.

Because Igor and Kadi couldn't really come up with a reason.

Why did they want to see Xiso and Bigas? Because they hadn't seen them for a long time and missed them terribly. But this was just an emotional factor, which couldn't really stand. Igor and Kadi insisted on seeing Xiso because they believed Xiso was smart enough to figure out some things they couldn't understand, but this reason didn't seem compelling enough to insist on meeting Xiso.

All in all, no matter how much they thought about it, they couldn't find a compelling reason to meet Xiso.

"We, Your Highness, it seems like we don't have a reason, but we just want to see Xiso and the others."

"No reason, but just want to see them, that's what you mean, right?" Princess Juliette confirmed again with Igor and the others.

"Yes, that's what we mean." Kadi nodded repeatedly.

"Even though we can't articulate a reason, deep down we feel that Xiso could be of great help to us," Igor said confidently.

"So, you're saying you have an unknown confidence, correct?" Princess Juliette continued to ask.

"Uh, you could say that." Igor felt this explanation made sense too.

"Mr. Cole, is Bigas still part of the Kangen family?" Princess Juliette suddenly threw the question to Old Cole.

"Your Highness, as for Bigas, the old patriarch has already removed her from the family records, but the new patriarch intends to restore her family status," Old Cole answered truthfully.

"Okay, so Bigas's status with the Kangen family is also unknown."

"That's correct." Old Cole responded slowly, unsure of what the princess was trying to do.

"Now, we need to set out and find Bigas and Xiso." Princess Juliette closed her eyes, then slowly opened her arms.

Only to see a purple flower bud in the garden slowly open its petals, blooming proudly in front of Igor and the others.

The flower was like a curious child, constantly stretching its head, looking around, trying to find something of interest.

Igor and Kadi exchanged glances, deeply curious about what Princess Juliette was doing and what this flower was!

"Knowing Flower, you will explore into the unknown, bringing their information, bringing their location."

"Doesn't Her Highness know where Xiso and Bigas are?" Igor whispered, afraid that his muttering would disturb Princess Juliette in her current state.

"Who knows?" Kadi shrugged, he answered quietly, also worried his voice would disrupt Princess Juliette.

Princess Juliette's few words made the purple flower start shaking its body, seemingly having received the command. Its leaves and flower vines began to expand outwards silently, gradually occupying the entire garden. The whole garden bore its trace, with its purple flowers swaying everywhere.

"Knowing Flower, release your energy, provide us with answers," Princess Juliette murmured again as if uttering an incantation like a wizard.

This situation puzzled Igor. Wasn't he an adventurer? But why did every facet displayed resemble a wizard's traits, making anyone feel that Princess Juliette was a wizard?

Igor's thought was not without reason, as only wizards could be so in tune with nature to command plants like this...

Princess Juliette busied herself for a while before stopping. She held her waist with both hands, being pregnant, she couldn't engage in too much activity.

Then Igor and the others exchanged confused looks.

Clearly, they didn't understand the current situation. Princess Juliette asked about a bunch of unknowns, then chanted an incantation to let a magical flower find Xiso and Bigas' whereabouts. How exactly it would search or what results it would yield were unknown.

Princess Juliette rested for a bit before standing up again.

"Your Highness, you should rest a while longer, after all, you are with child," Old Cole hastily said.

"Yes, Your Highness, you shouldn't push yourself so hard!"

With a chuckle, Princess Juliette burst out laughing again. She found Igor and Kadi truly endearing.

"I'm fine, and I can't just sit on the chair all the time either."

"Uh..." Igor scratched his head, unsure of what to say.

"You must be curious, I said earlier that I had seen Xiso and Bigas, but now I'm still using this Knowing Flower to find them; isn't this quite contradictory?"

"Uh, the Princess must have her reasons..." Igor had become much more tactful; he wasn't sure when he had acquired this skill.

"Hehe, I met them before. At that time, they hadn't been summoned to the palace by my brother, the king. They were in my garden," Princess Juliette seemed to recall many past events, and her gaze began to wander involuntarily.

"Here?" Old Cole asked. After Xiso and Bigas left the Kangen family, they indeed disappeared for a while, during which time everyone searched for them in vain. So, they had been in Princess Juliette's garden.

"Yes, Bigas's elder sister, Witch Biggs, was half a mentor to me. It was Witch Biggs who asked me to shelter them."

"Biggs!" Igor's eyes lit up; this witch had quite a connection with him.

"Yes, we talked a lot in this place, and I learned many things. Unfortunately, my brother suddenly summoned them, at that time, we hadn't realized the changes in the palace. If we had known, we wouldn't have let Bigas and the others leave."

The words of Princess Juliette contained too much information for Igor to digest at once.

"My garden has many peculiar plants that can discern a person's sincerity. The reason I can be honest with you all is because you passed these plants' tests," Princess Juliette continued.

No one would have thought that Princess Juliette's garden was both a treasure and a weapon.

"Additionally, I don't know exactly where Xiso and Bigas have been confined. I've been searching for their whereabouts, but to no avail, because there is no strong resonance within me for them; after all, my acquaintance with either of them has been brief."

"Then why did Your Highness ask so many unknowns, what exactly do you intend to do!" Igor expressed his curiosity, clearly not really understanding the Princess's actions.

"It's a condition for the Knowing Flower. Now the Knowing Flower is working, and we have time to slowly explain everything,"
