My Wife Is A Miracle Doctor In The 80s

Chapter 429 - Chapter 429: Chapter 422: Internship

Chapter 429: Chapter 422: Internship

Chengcheng was totally oblivious to the fact that he had earned himself an unimaginable privilege at an age where he was just starting to become sensible. For students in the country, what frightens them the most is going to school, and what worries them the most is getting into college. However, Chengcheng didn’t have to worry about any of that. After just a few vials of blood, he was already guaranteed a college spot.

Even if he scored zero on the entrance exam, he could still get into Qing University.

Thrilled, Tang Zhinian shared this news with Ren Li. By this time, Little Fatty was sound asleep, his cheeks still chubby and adorable, and despite having lost weight, he was finally back to his original pudginess.

Upon hearing that Chengcheng could be admitted without the entrance exam, Ren Li felt incredibly lucky for their son. Where did this incredible fortune come from?

Well, that’s good. Chengcheng would be able to gain admission to Qing University without taking the exam, and he might even go abroad for further studies, just like his sister.

Tang Yuxin sighed in relief. Everything was finally over, and she could finally rest and stay home for a few days. She had been busy for a while now – Chengcheng had put on weight, but it seemed like she had lost some.

She switched off her mobile phone, as she didn’t want to bother about anything. Even if Tang Yuxin disappeared from the world, the earth would still spin. In her previous life, days went by without her, and she never thought she would be a savior, or that anyone would change because of her.

Her rebirth was not meant to change anything but merely to live well and treat her family right.

After one summer vacation, she returned to the campus just before the start of the new school year. Every year, there were students graduating and new students enrolling. If she was not continuing her studies, she would leave this place by next yearโ€”in fact, she was about to leave soon since she had her fourth-year internship coming up.

She had no idea where her internship hospital would be.

When the school announced the internship hospitals, Tang Yuxin was neither surprised nor disappointed because her internship was in Beijing General Hospital, a place she had been to twice before. Song Qingtong, Ting Yuan, and Lin Yile were quite lucky as they all got in the same hospital – the prestigious First People’s Hospital.

But she was the only one to get into Beijing General Hospital directly.

She packed up her stuff, knowing she would be away from her room for a long time, and if everything went according to plan, it could be Chengcheng’s future home. She might even have to stay in the General Hospital of Beijing for a prolonged period.

If she doesn’t know something about it by now, she must be a fool.

Most likely, people at the General Hospital already considered her as part of their team. But it was also great that she got into the General Hospital of Beijing.

Who knew, she might even bring home a military son-in-law for her father. She believed her father would agree to it. As for a certain man who had always been around her, she never had any inappropriate thoughts about him because she always called him “uncle.” In her heart, he was simply an elder.

After packing her luggage, she reported to the General Hospital the next morning. To her surprise, she ran into someone familiar there.

“Yuxin…” Upon seeing Tang Yuxin, Li Jia waved enthusiastically, then ran over and hugged her tightly, “How did you end up here as well?”

“Yeah, I didn’t expect it either,” Tang Yuxin was indeed surprised that Li Jia also ended up here.

Li Jia wasn’t expecting to see Tang Yuxin here either, as this wasn’t just any hospital; it was the General Hospital. It was normal for students from their school to intern here, as it was affiliated with the General Hospital.

But Tang Yuxin was an exception as she wasn’t a student of the General Hospital’s school, yet she still ended up here. Despite the surprising turn of events, Li Jia was overjoyed.

“By the way, there’s also her,” Li Jia whispered into Tang Yuxin’s ear cautiously, “She’s really lucked out. Back in the day, she barely made it into college, and now she’s landed this internship spot. It’s hard to believe there was no under-the-table dealings.”

“She’s not the best in our department, but she’s here. I don’t believe she didn’t pull some strings.”

Tang Yuxin turned to look at the arrogant woman, unable to comprehend why Wei Jiani was so pleased with herself, or where her confidence came from.

Of course, Wei Jiani had noticed Tang Yuxin a long time ago and sneered in disdain. Wasn’t that a challenge? Such a blatant one?

When it was time to assign dormitories, Tang Yuxin was given a single bedroom. Furthermore, it was just beside the security company, where she could hear the daily wake-up call.

The dormitories at the hospital were separate five-story buildings. The rooms were usually triples or quads, but Tang Yuxin was different. She had a single bedroom that usually only in-service doctors had.

She later found out that she got this good dorm because of Director Zhu.

Director Zhu had always been mindful of Tang Yuxin. As soon as the new interns arrived, he made sure that Dr. Xiaotang’s dorm was well-arranged to avoid disturbances. Everybody knew that among the people you could afford to offend in this world, a good doctor, especially one who could save your life, was not one of them.

Tang Yuxin put her stuff in the dorm. Her room was on the second floor and included a bed, some shelves, table, chair, and basic furniture. There was even an attached bathroom and a set of shower facilities. Considering dormitory standards, it was pretty high-end.

She liked this room and would be happy staying here if she ended up working in this hospital. At the very least, the room was comfortable and well-lit. Moreover, she didn’t have to share it with anyone else. She had gotten used to living alone and didn’t like others touching her things. If it wasn’t a familiar scent, she wouldn’t like it.
