Chapter 428: Chapter 421: Little Fatty’s Special Reward

The siblings spent another day in Beijing, where Tang Yuxin took her brother to a nearby supermarket. She bought him lots of snacks to eat on the train, to save him from going hungry and act up out of boredom.

By the time they boarded the train, it was already the afternoon of the next day.

Little Chengcheng happily bounced around on the train berth. Luckily, Tang Yuxin managed to get a lower bunk in the soft sleeper coach this time. As there were fewer people and more space, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been able for him to bounce around as much.

The two-day and two-night train ride went smoothly. Tang Yuxin was used to taking care of Chengcheng. This time, he was exceptionally well-behaved and listened to his sister. He seemed to understand that there might be villains on the train. If he got kidnapped and lost, he would have to become someone else’s child. He wouldn’t be able to see his parents or sister or enjoy nice snacks anymore. Hence, for the sake of future snacks and his family, Little Fatty remembered clearly that he must never be taken away by bad people. So he became even more behaved, obedient, and sensible.

When they got off the train, Tang Zhijun’s car was already waiting for them at the station.

Tang Zhijun easily picked up Little Fatty, and upon lifting him, burst into laughter. “My Little Chengcheng is growing so big! He’s gained weight and looks chubby again, which is more adorable. Chengcheng chatted incessantly with his uncle about his experiences in Beijing, including his airplane ride where he saw huge cotton balls in the sky. Tang Zhijun truly felt how great it was for a child to have the opportunity to travel. Just look at their Little Chengcheng; his horizon broadened after he stepped out of home, as he seemed to have matured and understood more things. His speech could often amuse adults too.

When they reached Li Tang Village, before they could reach their home, Ren Li was already waiting for them outside. It had been over a month since she last saw her son. Even though she had always been with Tang Zhinian in Qing’an, she could still see her son when she returned at night. She hadn’t experienced not seeing her son for over a month before. She dreamed of the little guy every day and wondered how he was doing.

Whether he had behaved, obeyed, ate well, or slept well.

The moment Tang Zhijun got Chengcheng out of the car, her tears uncontrollably welled up.

“Mummy…” Little Fatty waddled over with his chubby legs. This one month of great nutrition had fattened him back up to his previous adorable chubby state. He looked white and chubby, just like a freshly-steamed bun.
