Brandon glanced at the documents, then shifted his gaze to the people sitting in front of him. He let out a rough breath before picking up the documents and reading them one by one.

The room fell silent for a few moments. Brandon finally closed the stack of documents in his hands and shook his head.

"I reject this appeal," he said calmly.

He turned toward his secretary, who was standing behind him. His secretary nodded and immediately approached his father’s secretary.

Brandon had already given him instructions while on his way to the office earlier.

Once his secretary and his father’s secretary had finished making the arrangements, Brandon stood up and walked toward the projection screen in front of everyone.

"You can see it for yourselves. All of this is data collected by my secretary, without exception. Neither I nor my people have made any mistakes in this stock offering."

Brandon gave a faint smile as he looked at the representatives appointed by the Supervisory Board.

"As the successor to the eastern region of the Melvin Continent, I reject every excuse and every form of accountability you believe I should bear. I, Brandon Vein, will instead demand accountability from all of you."

One of the Supervisory Board representatives slammed his hand on the table and looked at Brandon with displeasure.

"But you cheated, too! You only allocated one percent of your shares to the public. Then what is this? Isn’t this problem also the result of your negligence as an incompetent heir? You allowed one person to monopolize the shares you released to the market. And now you’re demanding accountability from us?" he protested.

Brandon merely glanced at the man.

"Mr. Yuan Ensen, a Supervisory Board representative from the southern region of the Melvin Continent," Brandon said, his voice carrying a sharp edge. "Tell me, how long have you been working as part of the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent? Just one or two years?"

Brandon paused briefly before continuing, "I’m still doing far better than the rulers of the western, northern, and southern regions of the Melvin Continent, who might not even allocate twenty percent of their shares to the public. And you, shouldn’t you already understand that?"

Yuan Ensen fell silent for several seconds. He clearly hadn’t expected Brandon to respond to his words so sharply.

Brandon smiled again.

"Tell the Supervisory Board members that this is not the Vein family’s fault. This is entirely your fault for being too negligent in protecting your own system. I, Brandon Vein, demand further accountability from the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent."

The board of directors members who were also present in the room nodded in agreement.

Brandon’s father nodded as well before adding, "The Vein family will soon belong to my son. His decision is my decision. If the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent refuses to accept this decision, we will immediately appeal to the Supervisory Boards of the two continents bordering the Melvin Continent."

Yuan Ensen looked back and forth between Brandon and his father before finally nodding, though he was clearly reluctant.

Everyone knew that the Vein family was not a force that could be easily shaken, even though their power still remained under the control of the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent.

"I’ll give you an answer by tonight at the latest," Yuan Ensen said before turning around and leaving the room with his people.

Meanwhile, in a hotel, Dion Sexa’s expression grew increasingly gloomy. In stark contrast to him, Sean was still sitting in front of the computer with a broad smile. ℯℯ𝑙.

Dion’s secretary had just received a warning letter from the Supervisory Board via email.

"Kevin, how long do my people have to keep attacking the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent’s system?" Dion asked. "Isn’t this enough already?"

Kevin, who had just received some snacks from Hans, froze. He stopped chewing.

Zahn, who was sitting beside him and had just finished a bowl of hot porridge given to him by Hans, immediately choked.

Sean, who had been watching the stock market movements all this time, also turned toward Dion. He frowned when he saw the man’s increasingly dark expression.

Kevin coughed lightly before asking, "You haven’t stopped them yet? Didn’t Sean already finish his game? I’ve also received my payment from him. Why are you still letting your people attack the Supervisory Board’s system?"

Zahn quickly grabbed a glass and gulped down some water to ease his coughing. Then he leaned closer to the phone.

"Sean, is there something wrong with your father’s brain, too? Is he interested in becoming the second Hans Xin?" he asked.

Sean swiveled his chair, ignoring his two brothers’ rambling from the other end of the phone. He stared at Dion with a furrowed brow.

"Are you stupid? Haven’t you been sitting beside me this whole time? Why are you letting your people continue attacking their system? Do I have to tell you every single step you need to take?"

Dion was stunned for a few moments.

"Do you know why I kept trading stocks for ten minutes after I finished my work?"

Sean let out a rough breath. "It’s because I was waiting for you to find Mom! I was waiting for your subordinate to contact you. Did you not even realize that?"

Dion’s secretary, who was standing behind him, hurriedly stepped away. He immediately contacted the company’s IT experts and ordered them to stop attacking the Supervisory Board of the Melvin Continent’s system.

Dion glared at Sean before rising from his chair and grabbing a bottle of whiskey. He emptied it in a single gulp.

Without saying anything else, Dion picked up his phone and the jacket draped over his chair, then hurried out of the room.

Sean frowned. Damn, so he really is stupid?

He quickly grabbed his phone, jumped down from his chair, snatched his bag, and ran after Dion.

"I’ll hang up for now! He’s going to look for Mom without taking me with him!" Sean shouted as he ran after the man.

"Okay," Kevin and Zahn replied simultaneously from the other end of the phone.

Sean finally sat in the seat beside Dion and carelessly tossed his bag onto the back seat of the car. He tried to catch his breath after running to keep up with Dion’s long strides.

"Drive," Dion ordered without looking at Sean.

"Are you my father?" Sean asked as soon as the driver started the car.

Dion snorted, having absolutely no intention of answering the question. He deftly unlocked his phone and replayed the live video footage sent by his subordinate from Brandon’s house.

However, Hana was still nowhere to be seen in the footage.

Sean glanced at Dion’s phone screen with a confused expression.

"You still have time to watch a celebrity’s vlog?"

Not long afterward, Dion’s phone rang. The call came from his subordinate who had infiltrated Brandon’s house.

"Sir, I’ve searched every corner of this house twice, but I still haven’t found anyone matching the description you gave me. All the women here are servants, and not a single one has an exceptional face."

"You still haven’t found her?" Dion asked angrily. "I trained you to be a good dog, yet you still can’t find her? Didn’t I already give you a description of that girl?"

"Sir, I really have searched thoroughly. However, there truly isn’t any woman as beautiful as the one you described."

Sean, who was sitting beside Dion, immediately looked at the man in annoyance. He grabbed Dion’s hand, the one holding the phone.

"You didn’t give him a photo of Mom? You only told him to look for a girl based on your description?"

Dion ended the call and opened his phone gallery. However, just as he was about to look for a photo of Hana, his hand suddenly stopped. He raised his head and looked at Sean.

"Do you have a photo of your mother?"
