My Taming System Makes Me Overpowered
Chapter 251: First contact at the Outer rim
The boundary between Vince’s newly unified domain and the Primordial Firmament was not a physical wall, but an absolute threshold of divine law.
On one side stretched the serene, amethyst skies of the integrated Null Expanse—calm, harmonious, and humming with the refined cosmic vitality anchored by Barnaby’s Lotus Core. On the other side lay the infinite expanse of the Primordial Firmament, an ocean of blinding golden stardust, swirling cosmic nebulae, and ancient divine pressure that had crushed lesser gods for millennia.
Vince stepped through the shimmering perimeter of his barrier, his dark coat fluttering gently against the sharp celestial headwinds of the deep cosmos.
Flanking him were his core vanguard: Barnaby, her golden-translucent lotus aura radiating soft heat; Lyrielle, holding her elder-wood bow with refined elven composure; Vetra, her crimson-gold scales catching the harsh starlight; and Elena, whose golden eyes tracked the shifting energy matrices ahead.
Hovering three hundred yards out in the open void were the three monitoring entities.
They did not resemble the monstrous, chaotic Void-Gods of the lower expanse. They were pristine, terrifyingly elegant high-order Celestial Emissaries.
To the left floated an entity encased in blinding solar armor, burning with the harsh, unforgiving light of the Solari Dominion. In the center stood a tall, serene figure shrouded in starlight-woven robes, holding an orb of pure celestial alignment representing the Starlight Hegemony. To the right loomed a towering herald wrapped in dark obsidian bands and swirling void-dust, carrying the sigil of the Astral Void.
Beyond the threshold, the Firmament seemed almost unnaturally still. Vast clouds of golden dust drifted between distant stars, folding over themselves in slow currents that stretched across regions too large for the eye to measure. Every movement carried faint traces of light, leaving brief trails before fading into the darkness. Far away, enormous celestial structures hung between the stars, their silhouettes barely visible through layers of glowing nebulae. Some resembled ancient temples, while others looked like immense cities suspended in empty space. Their lights blinked at irregular intervals, suggesting countless civilizations watching from beyond the battlefield.
Closer to Vince, the void remained clear. The shattered fragments created by his domain floated without direction, reflecting pieces of amethyst light from the barrier behind him. The contrast between the two territories was impossible to miss. His domain felt controlled and settled, while the Firmament stretched endlessly ahead with no visible boundary. Even the starlight seemed older here, carrying a faint golden hue that made the surrounding darkness feel deeper. Somewhere beyond those distant formations waited the powers that ruled this strange realm, hidden behind layers of territory, ancient laws, and civilizations that had existed long before Vince ever stepped into the void.
The central emissary—the Starlight Herald—stepped forward upon a path of condensed stardust, his voice ringing out like a choir of heavy brass bells across the quiet void.
"Mortal Ascendant," the Starlight Herald declared, his eyes glowing like dying white stars. "You have crossed into the sovereign observation buffer of the Primordial Firmament. The collapse of the lower void sectors and the unauthorized harvesting of five high-order cores has triggered an immediate mandate from the High Council."
The Solari Emissary scoffed, a trail of white-hot solar plasma flaring from his shoulders. "State your compliance, interloper. By order of the Three Seats, the entity designated as Vince shall immediately surrender the refined origin artifact—the bloomed divine anchor—to the High Council for divine evaluation and containment."
Vetra’s mouth twitched into a sharp, vicious grin, her hand tightening around the hilt of her heavy broadsword. "Surrender Barnaby? They didn’t even pass the greeting phase and they’re already asking for their heads to be chopped off."
Barnaby merely leaned closer against Vince’s side, a soft, purring laugh escaping her lips as her lotus mark pulsed over her chest. "They don’t understand what they’re looking at, Vetra. They think we’re just another lower-world anomaly."
Vince remained completely silent, his hands resting casually in his pockets. His dark amethyst eyes locked onto the three emissaries, evaluating them with the cold, unbothered detachment of an apex predator observing three noisy insects.
"Evaluation and containment?" Vince spoke, his deep voice slicing through the heavy cosmic pressure with effortless clarity. "You talk as if your High Council holds authority over this realm."
"The Primordial Firmament is the supreme seat of divine law!" the Solari Emissary barked, stepping forward as his solar aura flared, attempting to project a massive wave of high divine pressure toward Vince’s party. "You are an unranked sovereign standing outside the order. Submit your core, or face immediate rank severance and divine erasure!"
The heavy, crushing wave of Solari divine pressure surged across the void—a force capable of flattening entire planetary systems.
Yet, as it reached Vince, it did not even ruffle his hair.
Vince didn’t raise a weapon. He didn’t draw upon a spell array. He simply expanded his Inward Absolute Domain by a fraction of an inch.
THUMMM—
The space around the three emissaries instantly shattered into fine violet glass. The Solari Emissary’s blinding solar armor flickered out like a dying candle. The Starlight Herald’s path of stardust dissolved into nothingness, and the Astral Herald’s dark obsidian bands cracked violently, sending dark energy leaking into the void.
All three emissaries gasped in horror as an unimaginable weight crashed down upon their divine origins. It wasn’t just physical force—it was an absolute overwrite of cosmic law. Their high divine rank, honed over thousands of years in the Firmament, was forcibly suppressed, stripped down, and rewritten beneath Vince’s absolute rule.
CRACK!
The Solari Emissary crashed onto his knees directly onto the empty air, his golden armor splintering under the weight of Vince’s gaze. Beside him, the Starlight and Astral Heralds collapsed onto all fours, struggling desperately to draw a single breath of celestial mana as their divine cores trembled in terror.
"Rank severance?" Vince murmured, walking forward across the shattered void until he stood directly above the kneeling Solari Herald.
He reached out, placing his hand casually on the top of the emissary’s helmet.
"You don’t command the law here," Vince said smoothly, his dark eyes glowing with absolute, untouchable supremacy. "I am the law. Now... you are going to lead my citadel into your Firmament, and you are going to tell me exactly who sits on those three high thrones."
