Chapter 245: Nova’s Dragon Form

Even Zero felt a completely different aura radiating from him — one that was distinct from pure demonic energy, yet still extremely powerful... and uncomfortably familiar.

"It’s the dragonic aura!!"

Nova’s voice thundered across the sky, carrying for hundreds of kilometers. Through the ongoing broadcast, the entire continent heard and witnessed his changing form.

"BEHOLD MY DRAGON FORM! CONSIDER YOURSELVES LUCKY — FOR YOU ARE THE FIRST IN THIS WORLD WHO WILL WITNESS MY COLOSSAL DRAGON FORM AS WELL!!"

Kharos and Caelan were the most shocked of all, yet neither of them moved. Both wanted to see exactly what Nova was becoming.

The same went for the other powerful existences present. Draeven’s eyes widened even further as he felt a familiar aura — one he had only ever sensed from a single person... and that person was certainly not his elder brother.

How could this boy possibly be compared to that existence? How?

BOOOOM!

Even greater pressure and pure dragonic aura erupted from Nova as he pushed his strength to the absolute limit. His body began to expand rapidly as he activated the second stage of his Chaotic Dragon Transformation.

The pressure radiating from Nova became so heavy that even Level 4 and Level 5 Emperors could no longer withstand it at close range.

They were forced to create a much greater distance between themselves and him.

Nova’s body continued to grow and change. The transformation was far more powerful and majestic than anything ordinary — the kind of complete metamorphosis that could only be witnessed among the true Elder Dragons.

Soon, his colossal figure cast a vast shadow over a large portion of the capital.

Nova’s final dragon form stretched at least five hundred meters in length. His entire body was covered in massive, razor-sharp black scales that shimmered with a deep violet radiance under the light.

Each scale looked thicker and denser than the armor of any Emperor Realm expert. His long, powerful neck rose high into the sky, crowned by a pair of enormous, curved black horns that jutted forward like the blades of a dark god.

A thick, muscular tail lashed behind him, ending in a deadly, blade-like tip.

His wings were immense — vast membranes of pure darkness stretched between powerful bone structures, easily large enough to blot out the sun over an entire city district when fully spread.

Two glowing purple slit eyes burned with cold, ancient intelligence from his massive draconic head, and when his jaws opened slightly, rows of sword-like fangs the size of grown men became visible.

Compared to this true colossal form, Zero’s two-hundred-meter dragon body suddenly looked small and insignificant.

"ROOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!"

A dreadful, earth-shaking roar tore through the sky and rolled across the entire Eastern Continent. Every being who heard it shuddered in instinctive fear.

Even Draeven felt his body tremble under the pure dragonic pressure of the giant before him. He himself was only an adult dragon. His own form was nowhere near this size.

Kharos, Caelan, and every other powerful existence present were left completely baffled. It had been a very long time since any of them had seen a dragon of such magnitude.

"What the hell?!"

"That demon turned into a dragon?!"

"And look how fucking huge he is... Fuck, look at those purple glowing slit eyes!"

Nova slowly turned his massive head toward Zero, who was still in his dragon form. The smaller dragon had been ready to attack... but now he was clearly having second thoughts.

Inside the system training space

Liya, Nova’s parents, and his wives watched the transformation through the system’s observation.

"T-That’s Nova...? My son?!"

Jenna’s voice trembled with pure astonishment. Edward, Theodore, and Rodrick were equally shocked.

Asia, Rieka, Nyxara, and Velena remained calm. They had already seen this form many times while Nova trained inside the system space.

"ROOOOOAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!"

Nova released another earth-shaking roar. The sheer force of it made everyone take an involuntary step back — even those who were multiple times stronger than him.

For a brief moment, they were reminded of a certain terrifying existence from the past.

"Fuck... he looks exactly like him!" Vaorak muttered as he stared at the roaring black dragon asserting its dominance over the sky.

"But wasn’t he a demon? How the hell did he turn into a massive dragon?" Lyra asked in shock.

"My brother, as an Elder Dragon, only reached around four hundred meters in his true form..." Draeven said in disbelief. "This guy is almost five hundred meters long... almost the same as that bastard Raze."

Zeon, on the other hand, was thinking far more carefully.

How the hell did that demon turn into a dragon? Is he also like us? But how is that possible? Only Demon Lord Raze ever achieved that kind of perfect balance.

We only managed to gain a partial balance through external help... Is this guy also connected to them?

Though he doesn’t feel like a hybrid. I’m sensing only dragonic aura, without a single trace of demonic aura.

He needed to change plans immediately. He needed to inform them about this anomaly — if Nova was not already connected to their backers.

How did such a monster go completely unnoticed until now?!

Although Kharos and Caelan were still capable of killing Nova if they truly went all out, neither of them felt completely confident.

Nova was using some kind of movement skill they could not understand — something highly unbelievable considering their status as two of the strongest existences in the world.

More importantly, both of them wanted to see the full extent of this anomaly’s power before deciding what to do with him.

For the others — Vaorak, Lyra, and Draeven — a sense of caution had taken root. As they could not accurately gauge Nova’s strength, and his aura was no weaker than that of the Dragon Emperor himself.

With no real reason to test an unknown existence of this level, they chose not to make any reckless moves.

Aurora was also deeply shocked by Nova. First, he had been a human, then a demon, and now a dragon of this scale.

His existence kept breaking her logical understanding again and again. She was now wondering whether she should continue keeping the information about him secret or not.

However, Nova still hadn’t given her any reason to consider him evil.

The remaining Emperor Realm powerhouses of both armies were simply too terrified to approach. Many Level 1 to Level 5 Emperors could not even get close under the crushing pressure of Nova’s dragon form.

Nova was fully aware of all these facts. He knew he was still far too weak to clash head-on against so many true powerhouses.

Right now, he was only intimidating them — forcing them to recognize his illogical existence so that they would think hundred times before taking any action against him.

And he could clearly see that his plan was working. Kharos, meanwhile, was deep in thought about an almost impossible possibility.

How could an existence similar to Demon Lord Raze appear in this world again?

Is he somehow related to Raze’s lost heart?

He was still doubtful, but after watching the Eclipse Order’s experiments and the external help they had received to achieve even a partial balance... the possibility no longer seemed completely impossible.

There was one more crucial difference about this transformation.

The moment Nova fully changed into his dragon form, his demonic aura completely vanished without a single trace.

Kharos was correct in his earlier thoughts. Demon Lord Raze had been a true hybrid of demon and dragon.

Even in his colossal Dragonic-Demon form which closely resembled the black dragon currently towering over the capital — both dragonic and demonic auras had always coexisted.

But Nova was different.

In his current Chaotic Dragon Transformation, only pure, overwhelming dragonic aura remained.

Not a single hint of demonic energy could be sensed anymore.

This only deepened the confusion of everyone present. It was as if he had never been a demon to begin with... and had always been a pure dragon all along.
