Chapter 101: Chapter 102: Insidious Sun Yun, Spirit Head Skill, Prescription

CRACK.

The rumbling mountain forest suddenly fell into an eerie silence.

As Su Chen’s blade descended, the bronze hammer in Tao Dingfang’s hand was sheared apart, its handle and head abruptly severed from each other. Yet, the shocking gleam of the blade did not stop. With unstoppable momentum, it viciously slashed through Tao Dingfang’s armor. Beneath this cold flash of steel, the sturdy armor was blasted open as easily as flimsy linen.

Having cleaved through the bronze hammer’s handle and shattered the solid armor, the steel blade in Su Chen’s grip could no longer withstand the violent collision of power. With a resounding crack, fractures webbed across its surface before it instantly shattered into fragments.

Tao Dingfang’s savage, bull-like power surged up the broken blade and into Su Chen’s body, scattering throughout his system and recklessly ravaging his internal organs. After a brief moment of surprise, Su Chen channeled his own internal energy. Four streams of power rushed forth from his limbs and bones, instantly surrounding the invading energy and crushing it with overwhelming force.

He looked at Tao Dingfang in surprise, not expecting his opponent’s power to be capable of clinging to a weapon and transmitting directly into his body.

If Su Chen was surprised, Tao Dingfang was absolutely horrified.

A single strike. With just one slash, Su Chen had severed his bronze hammer, broken through his iron armor, and even left a shallow gash on his flesh. He wondered if he would have even survived that domineering attack had he not been wearing his armor. The mere thought sent shivers down his spine.

Tao Dingfang’s gaze shifted abruptly, becoming unprecedentedly grim as he stared at Su Chen. The threat posed by this Power Training Martial Artist standing before him was comparable to that of an Organ Refining expert.

"Hahaha! What a pity, you were just a little short!" Despite his internal dread, Tao Dingfang refused to show weakness. He took a half-step back and sneered.

"What the fuck are you laughing at!"

Before Su Chen could speak, Sun Yun, having finally recovered from his shock, charged forward with his long blade in hand. Armed with a weapon once more, his combat aura surged significantly.

"You dare act so insolently in front of me?" Tao Dingfang glared fiercely. Su Chen’s immense strength gave him the right to act boldly, but where did a defeated loser like Sun Yun get the nerve to be arrogant? Even barehanded, Tao Dingfang could still utterly crush him.

Facing Sun Yun’s assault, Tao Dingfang lunged forward. Though he had lost his bronze hammer, his fists were still as sharp and deadly as ever.

BANG BANG BANG!

HUM!

After taking a flurry of punches, Sun Yun gripped his hilt with both hands, forcibly suppressing the violent trembling of his blade. As he clashed with Tao Dingfang, his sliding feet carved two long gouges into the earth.

"Let’s take him together," Sun Yun muttered in a low voice, turning to Su Chen after realizing he was still no match for Tao Dingfang alone.

Having steadied his erratic breathing, Su Chen’s figure blurred as he sprinted forward, leaping right in front of Tao Dingfang. The collision of their power was simple and direct, with the visceral sound of flesh-to-flesh impacts echoing between them.

The longer they fought, the more horrified Tao Dingfang became. Su Chen’s power was incredibly fierce, rolling in like river waves—each surge stronger than the last, far deeper than his own. He couldn’t fathom how Su Chen possessed such abundant energy. Under the constant barrage of their exchanges, he felt immense pressure. How could such absolute suppression in the sheer tier of power come from a mere Power Training Martial Artist?

"With one layer, I’m completely crushed. With two layers, I’m barely holding on. With three layers, I can just about match him. But with four layers, the advantage is mine!" Su Chen thought, secretly intensifying his power.

Using a single layer of power left his offense and defense inferior to Tao Dingfang, resulting in total suppression. Two layers allowed him to resist, but he was still being overwhelmed. Three layers improved the situation significantly; in terms of raw offensive and defensive strength, they were evenly matched, differing only in their total capacity of energy. At four layers, however, Su Chen completely eclipsed Tao Dingfang in both energy capacity and combat strength.

COUGH, COUGH, COUGH!

After several fierce exchanges, Tao Dingfang stumbled back, coughing violently as his face gradually paled. Su Chen’s power was wreaking havoc inside his body, causing him no small amount of trouble and making his own energy restless. Fortunately, his internal organs had been thoroughly tempered, allowing him to withstand the assault of Su Chen’s power for a while.

"Tao Dingfang, your time is up!"

Noticing his abnormal state, Sun Yun sneered and darted forward, engaging him once again. Not wanting to be outdone, Su Chen immediately joined the fray. Tao Dingfang’s momentum was gone; he wouldn’t last much longer. Under their combined pincer attack, his aura grew increasingly feeble, and wounds began to multiply rapidly across his body.

"Haha, even if I die today, I won’t make it easy for you!"

Knowing he had no route of retreat, Tao Dingfang let out a furious roar and erupted with a ferocious surge of strength. His desperate, do-or-die posture made Sun Yun’s heart tighten. Sure enough, a sense of unease thickened as Tao Dingfang charged recklessly.

Sun Yun cursed inwardly. This bastard had locked onto him, determined to drag someone down to the grave with him!

"Don’t just stand there watching the show! Hurry up and help!" Sun Yun dodged left and right, completely avoiding any head-on clashes. Right now, Tao Dingfang was a madman fighting with zero regard for his own life. If Sun Yun got pinned down, he would be heavily injured, if not outright killed.

Hearing this, Su Chen did not move. Instead, he watched Tao Dingfang vigilantly. Although the man seemed to be relentlessly hunting Sun Yun, he was actually laying a trap, waiting for Su Chen to take the bait.

Naturally, Su Chen wasn’t going to fall for it. He stayed on the sidelines, waiting for Tao Dingfang to exhaust himself.

After chasing Sun Yun for a moment, Tao Dingfang suddenly whipped his head around to glare at Su Chen. With a hideous grin, he roared, "Why didn’t you fall for it? Why didn’t you take the bait!"

The hysterical roars rolled over Su Chen, failing to stir even the slightest ripple of emotion. Tao Dingfang lunged forward violently, his massive arms crashing down like falling pillars of heaven.

BANG BANG BANG!

Fists and feet collided, but Tao Dingfang’s aura was steadily declining. The sheer unwillingness on his face was almost tangible as he glared at Su Chen with burning hatred, as if trying to etch Su Chen’s image permanently into his soul.
