Under normal circumstances, information transmitted through Mental Power would automatically be converted into language that the receiver could understand. It was equivalent to a universal translator.

After all, every race used a different language, and their language habits were different as well. There might even be dialects and slang. Mental Power, however, could completely bypass these limitations, allowing someone to understand what another person wanted to express without knowing anything about the other party’s language or racial customs.

However, Gaemi’s language system seemed to have developed some problems.

At the very least, the style of the messages transmitted through Mental Power was seriously strange.

Things like, "Enjoy the anthill your old lady dug for you. Don’t fail to appreciate it."

"Greedy and limitless demands will inevitably bring about a mad destruction. Go back and think it over carefully."

"This old lady will break free from your restraints. One day, dictators will bring about their own downfall."

"Why bring destruction during glory and frighten this palace during peace?"

"Now, the Queen should come to her senses and understand that she needs to be disciplined."

And so on.

Joo Joowon had only one comment about this.

Humans could not understand the language of ants in the first place. It was said that when orcas cooperated to hunt in the ocean, the sounds humans heard were actually the whales cursing at one another. Now, Joo Joowon could not help wondering whether the Ant Queen’s absolute authority within the colony had caused them to unconsciously start speaking in such a pretentious, dramatic manner.

Or was this actually happening because she had been affected by the Whispers?

Previously, Gaemi had merely struggled a little when speaking, but she had still sounded fairly normal. How had she suddenly become like this?

If Joo Joowon had not developed quite a bit of patience from raising the little ones, he would have interrupted Gaemi the moment he heard the beginning. But now, he actually still had the mood to listen and see what kind of ridiculous things it could say next.

Hmm... His habit of feeling secondhand embarrassment was acting up again.

When Gaemi finally finished speaking, Joo Joowon had not even opened his mouth yet when Gaemi suddenly fell silent first.

Wait, had it already had enough of living? Why had it actually said what was in its heart?

If it said now that the one who had just spoken was not itself, would the other side believe it?

Gaemi was so embarrassed that it wanted to cry.

It was not stupid. There was no way it would recklessly spout nonsense without knowing anything about the other party’s situation. After all, it had only submitted to Joo Joowon a few days ago, so there was no deep bond between them.

It had to be known that during these past few days, Gaemi had not been without thoughts of secretly taking all its belongings and running away. It could still sense the Mental Power mark Joo Joowon had left behind, and it had discovered long ago that the mark had disappeared.

Animals living in the wild encountered accidents every day. Since Joo Joowon had not come over to replenish the mark before it disappeared, Gaemi naturally assumed that something had happened to him.

But then it thought about it again. Such an obvious situation was practically no different from a trap. Perhaps Joo Joowon was hiding somewhere in the darkness and secretly watching it, waiting for it to run away.

Gaemi felt that it was already a mature Ant Queen. There was no way it would fall for such a trick, so it restrained the thoughts that had been stirring inside it and obediently continued building the anthill.

There was no other choice. Joo Joowon was truly ruthless. Even after it had submitted to him, he had still put it through such a rough ordeal back then. If he discovered that it wanted to escape later, would he not torture it to death?!

And after Joo Joowon appeared again, Gaemi no longer had even the slightest thought of escaping.

Whether someone was stronger than itself did not require the other party to display any abilities at all. For an existence with outstanding Mental Power, it only needed to sense the other party slightly to discover the difference.

Gaemi considered itself to have improved quite quickly as well. When a "princess" had just transformed into an Ant Queen, there was a period of extremely rapid growth. Its strength almost changed every single day.

After the previous Ant Queen let them go out and make their own way, all the shackles within the princesses’ bloodline were removed by the next generation of Ant Queens, so their growth would no longer be restricted by the Ant Queen.

Although Gaemi had been forced to turn back into a pupa because of the Whispers, she had also turned misfortune into good fortune because of the appearance of the honey-pot ant. She felt that the current version of herself could completely beat up her past self without any problem. However, this improvement was still far inferior to Joo Joowon’s.

Her rate of improvement was even more ridiculous than hers.

One of them was still on the path of increasing quantity, while the other had already achieved a qualitative leap.

It was no exaggeration to say that Gaemi felt that with Joo Joowon’s current strength, he could kill her with a single slap.

So how had she even found the courage to say those things?

How had her mouth become faster than her brain?!

Gaemi wanted to go crazy, and even more than that, she was afraid that Joo Joowon would attack her.

The Ant Queen commanded the entire colony, and every ant bowed its head and submitted to her. Naturally, under such circumstances, her temper would gradually become more and more self-centered and domineering, unable to tolerate even the slightest disobedience.

She lay on the leaf with a look of despair and spoke softly, "Boss... I’ll have them move everything right away."
