My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 756: I Have a Psychological Trauma About Soup...
"Madam?"
"Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to disturb you..." Summer Shawcross said with an awkward expression.
She originally thought the two were having a romantic moment in this dark corner, so she hadn’t spoken to avoid interrupting them.
Unexpectedly, they were just simply drinking soup in this dimly lit and inconspicuous spot...
Summer’s words made Sean Morgan hastily stand up from the lawn.
Katherine Irving also quickly got to her feet.
"How could that be, madam? Do you need something from me?"
"Actually, it’s nothing much. I just wanted to check how Katherine’s cooking skills are," Summer Shawcross said, not revealing her true intentions directly, but instead took a curious glance at the thermos box Sean Morgan was holding.
"Madam, would you like some too? I’ll make you some tomorrow!" Hearing her mention the soup, Katherine Irving enthusiastically offered.
As soon as Katherine spoke, Summer Shawcross’s expression changed, and she quickly declined.
"Uh... no need, I have a psychological shadow about soup..."
"Alright then..."
"But next time you make soup, could you prepare some for Noah Drexler too? Add lots of ginger; he caught a cold recently and could use it to warm up," Summer Shawcross said suddenly, looking at Sean Morgan.
Just as Summer finished speaking, Sean Morgan’s surprised voice rang out.
"The boss caught a cold?"
"Yes, he seems to have caught a cold recently. I’m not sure if he’s been to the hospital..." Summer Shawcross nodded and continued.
"Madam, I’ve been with the boss constantly, and I haven’t seen any signs of a cold. You must be overthinking," Sean Morgan said seriously.
Listening to Sean’s reply, Summer Shawcross froze, her face going a bit pale...
So, Noah Drexler wasn’t really sick, nor had he gone to the hospital for an injection.
Then the wound on his hand...
"Madam, what’s wrong?"
Summer Shawcross snapped out of it, glanced at Katherine Irving, then smiled and said,
"Oh... it’s nothing, I must have been mistaken. It’s fine, Katherine, just focus on making soup for Sean. No need to trouble yourself making it for Noah Drexler."
"It’s no trouble, madam. I’ll prepare some for the boss tomorrow too!" Katherine Irving said enthusiastically.
Upon hearing Katherine, Sean Morgan’s expression changed, and he quickly interjected,
"No need, really. The housekeeper and madam can prepare the boss’s soup."
The last thing he wanted was for the boss to get angry over bad-tasting soup!
Seeing him say so, Katherine Irving nodded and agreed.
"Alright then..."
Seeing her agree, Sean Morgan breathed a sigh of relief.
Watching the two getting along well, Summer Shawcross smiled contentedly and quietly left them to their peace.
"I’ll head back now, you two continue."
As soon as she finished speaking, without waiting for a response, she turned and quickly walked away.
...
When Summer Shawcross returned to the bedroom, Noah Drexler had already taken a shower and was leaning against the sofa.
On the coffee table in front of the sofa, the hamster had a new, pretty house.
Beside the hamster was a bathtub, decorated with some stones and seaweed, where two goldfish were leisurely swimming."
Noah Drexler, leaning on the sofa, was gently holding fish food with his long fingers, sprinkling it into the bathtub one pellet at a time.
As soon as Summer Shawcross walked in, Noah Drexler turned his eyes toward her and frowned, asking,
