Summer Shawcross was taken aback.

Noah Drexler glanced at her, slightly impatiently.

"Weren’t we going to buy toys?"

"Oh!" Summer Shawcross smiled and hurriedly followed him forward.

...

On the bustling bridge.

Most people here were parents with children or grandparents, all dressed casually and comfortably.

When Noah Drexler, in a suit and exuding a cold aura, arrived here with Summer Shawcross, wearing a gentle-style dress, they stood out particularly.

As soon as they approached a small stall, the vendor smiled at them and asked.

"Are you two here to pick a gift for a child?"

The moment the vendor spoke, Summer, who had been smiling at the sight of a heap of cute toys, suddenly froze, feeling a bit embarrassed.

After hearing the vendor, Noah Drexler deliberately turned his head to look at her.

In those black eyes of his, there was clearly a hint of mockery aimed at her...

Summer bit her lip, instinctively wanting to pull him away.

"Yes." But at that moment, the man swept a glance at the vendor and responded.

"..." Summer froze, her expression growing more awkward.

Upon hearing Noah Drexler’s words, the vendor enthusiastically began to introduce the options to them.

"Is it for a boy or a girl? We have a wide variety of toys, the boy’s section is over here, and the girl’s section is over there."

Upon hearing this, Noah Drexler lowered his gaze, his eyes landing on the section with the girl’s toys.

The boy’s section mainly had glowing toy cars, planes, and robots.

The girl’s section had toys that were obviously much cuter, including adorable cartoon animals, wands, and several fairy wands.

He let go of Summer Shawcross’s hand, suddenly squatted down, lowered his gaze, and began seriously picking out toys for her.

Summer stood there in embarrassment.

She wasn’t embarrassed because she liked these childish things; she was worried the vendor would find out the toys were for her and laugh, which would be truly awkward...

Seeing her stand there for a while without picking any toys, Noah Drexler couldn’t help but frown, glancing at her and lowering his voice to ask.

"Summer Shawcross, don’t you want to buy?"

With the noisy crowd on the bridge, the vendor didn’t hear him, but Summer heard it loud and clear.

"Let’s just forget about it..." Summer gave him an awkward smile, speaking uneasily.

Hearing her say forget it, Noah Drexler’s expression changed slightly.

Didn’t she insist on coming to buy toys just now, and now she’s saying forget it?

He didn’t plan on leaving and instead asked her suddenly with a frown.

"Get them all?"

Buy them all?

Hearing his straightforward words, Summer Shawcross was startled. She definitely didn’t want to bring a bunch of toys home to be seen by the butler and maids, which would be quite embarrassing.

Summer pursed her lips, quickly pointing to a pink-glowing star fairy wand among the pile of toys.

"That fairy wand is pretty."

She had seen such things in cartoons, where a little fairy would wave a wand and use magic.

She hadn’t expected the toys on the small stall to be made so beautifully.

Fairy wand?

Upon hearing her words, Noah Drexler turned his gaze to the glowing ’stick’ and then raised his hand, taking it and examining it. Still, on his handsome face, a hint of disdain couldn’t be helped.
