My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 733: Summer Shawcross, Aren’t You Just a Little Child?
She froze for a moment, lowered her head to look inside the bowl, and saw that there was an extra piece of fish, a piece of fish with the bones carefully removed.
She was stunned and looked up at him in astonishment.
Was he just removing fish bones for her?
"Did I do alright?" Noah Drexler raised an eyebrow and asked her.
Summer Shawcross was taken aback, suddenly realizing that the performance he referred to was this?
She thought...
Thinking of this, a few shades of embarrassment appeared on her face, definitely not admitting that she had misunderstood things.
"Ahem... pretty good." She coughed lightly to cover her embarrassment.
Hearing her say this, a slight smile appeared on Noah Drexler’s face, and he picked up another piece of fish and continued removing the bones.
While eating the fish in the bowl, Summer Shawcross raised her eyes, looking at the handsome man sitting there, methodically removing fish bones for her, and her heart suddenly filled with a strong sense of satisfaction.
Originally, she thought her heart would feel very heavy after learning the truth about her brother.
But after the playful banter with Noah Drexler, her pent-up emotions seemed to have found a channel to vent, and her mood suddenly lightened a lot.
Just as she was lost in thought, Noah Drexler’s chopsticks fell again, and another piece of fish with the bones removed was placed in her bowl.
"Noah Drexler, you don’t have to trouble yourself; I can remove the fish bones myself." She glanced at him and whispered.
She can remove fish bones herself; she doesn’t need him to care for her like a child.
"I want to, can’t I?" Noah Drexler lazily glanced at her.
"..." Seeing this, Summer Shawcross felt helpless and was momentarily speechless.
So she had no choice but to enjoy the fish without bones happily; fish that didn’t require bone removal tasted better.
...
After the dinner, Summer Shawcross and Noah Drexler came out of the restaurant; it was still early, and there were many pedestrians on the street.
Not far away, on the pedestrian bridge, there were many small vendors selling various glowing toys.
There were also many people on the bridge, some sitting on benches, chatting.
Children swirled around the toy stalls, making it look very lively.
Summer Shawcross paused at the restaurant’s entrance, glanced towards the bridge, and revealed a curious look.
Perhaps being in the dreary place like The Drexler Family for too long, she now prefers lively places with a post of city life, always feeling happier that way.
Just as Noah Drexler was about to turn and go to the car, Summer Shawcross suddenly walked over, reached out to hold his arm, and softly pleaded, looking towards the glowing toys on the bridge.
"Noah Drexler, I want to go to the bridge to buy a toy..." The glowing little toy looked so much fun.
Upon hearing this, Noah Drexler paused, glanced in the direction of the bridge, and then looked at her beside him.
"Summer Shawcross, aren’t you childish?" He lowered his eyes and said to her disdainfully.
Such things, even young children don’t play with!
Being criticized by him, Summer Shawcross didn’t mind at all and just blinked at him.
"I want to go!"
Seeing her pleading expression, Noah Drexler’s body trembled.
The next moment, he suddenly reached out his large hand and grasped the hand she held on his arm.
