My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively
Chapter 726: Are You Sure You Want to Sit There?
Does she want to date him?
Noah Drexler’s question made Summer Shawcross pause for a moment, leaving her speechless.
At a time like this, shouldn’t he be asking her what she actually wants from him? He should know by now, she’s not just looking to have dinner with him.
"Why don’t you ask me what I’m here for?" she asked him helplessly.
But when she asked him that, he was completely nonchalant, curling his lips into a mischievous smile and shamelessly replied!
"I’m up for anything!"
Whatever she wanted to do to him, he was down for it!
"..." His words left Summer stunned, and her face inexplicably turned a bit red. She glanced at him speechlessly.
Those words, though only four in number, felt so shameless to her.
After pausing for a few seconds, she suddenly reached out and pushed him away from his chest, abruptly getting up from his embrace.
"Let’s head over now, it’s about time to get off work." She glanced at the city’s view outside the large glass walls of the office; the sun was almost setting, and the city lights were starting to flicker on.
"Alright!" Hearing her say that, Noah Drexler pressed his thin lips and agreed in a good mood.
...
Soon after, Summer Shawcross and Noah Drexler arrived on the first floor. At the entrance of the building, the driver had already parked the car there, waiting for the two of them.
Noah Drexler led Summer Shawcross out, and as the driver got out from the driver’s seat to open the door for them, Noah suddenly cast him a glance.
"You can go off duty, I’ll drive today."
After hearing him, the driver quickly nodded.
"Okay, boss!"
Hearing he wanted to drive himself, Summer got curious and couldn’t help but ask him.
"Why not let the driver take us?"
"You’re not planning to date me?" Noah Drexler looked down at her, suddenly asking back.
When on a date, he didn’t like having a third person around.
She paused, blurting out in shock.
"I never said that..."
When did she say she wanted to date him?
However, just as her words fell, Noah Drexler’s cold and stern face darkened visibly, full of displeasure between his brows.
Seeing this, she thought to herself that this wasn’t good, hastily changing her words.
"I did, I did, isn’t that enough?!"
After she said that, Noah gave her a look that seemed to say she was smart, but he didn’t say anything more, and instead, he turned to the back door and opened it.
"Get in." He turned to the stunned her and said.
"Why not the front seat?" She looked at his actions, full of confusion.
Somehow, in Narsus City, there started a mysterious trend that if a man cares about a woman, he would reserve the front passenger seat for her.
Generally, in most cases, the front seat in a married man’s car or one with a girlfriend is reserved for their girlfriend.
But Noah Drexler had her sit in the back seat.
After hearing her question, Noah frowned, and then with a suspicious tone, he began to ask her slowly.
"The front seat is the most dangerous spot in the car, are you sure you want to sit there?"
Hearing his words, Summer’s face suddenly changed, shocked...
The front passenger seat is actually the most dangerous place in the car?
