Chapter 1092 The moment of truth
[OP: ]
[10-mins before dawn.]
The preparations were complete.
Everything was in place,
They had rested enough.
All the crystals that they had arranged around the cave would be used at the end so while they were not going to play any role for now, their existence alone was an important factor in this place.
“Channel Alpha: It’s clear.”
“Alright.”
The big cave was lit by magical light orbs present all around the cave, but the light that was produced by them was not being reflected by the crystals around them.
There was a dark barrier around all the hundreds of crystals present here that blocked all light from reaching them.
There were three distinct artifacts present in these vast chambers that attracted the attention of anyone looking at this unique place: the one present in the centre, the one present on the periphery of the cave, and a tiny one floating in the air.
While Eon stood before the one in the centre, the biggest of them all, the headmaster was standing on the edge of the cave with Zodiac and his family member, Sansan floating right before him.
The Okagi was in its true form right now. Its unique wings were spread out while the side of the creature had changed from a small snake to one that was as big as the rest of them.
“Channel Beta: Everything’s clear.”
“Good.”
President and Sansan would be responsible for the initiation of this experiment, the headmaster would be the enabler that controls the complicated artefact resembling a metallic prism before him, and then the energy that is generated from this would be transferred to Eon who stood before the artifact in the centre, right in front of the headmaster.
The energy that is generated from the Okagi using all the precious treasures present around it would then be sent directly to the headmaster.
Then the headmaster will send it to Eon and if anything arises, or they sense there is any problem with the experiment and Eon or anyone else orders them, Cradle will use the floating device to kill all the ongoing processes in a way that it will make the harm and recoil as low as possible.
If the impact or the after effects could be lowered to a degree they are negated, then the tech would do so as well.
“Channel Gamma: It’s clear as well.”
“Alright… then, lastly.”
Rein had given the first clear signal, followed by Cradle and Zodiac. The last one remaining here was the headmaster who would be the one taking a great burden himself.
“Axion.”
He looked at Eon with a serious eyes, all the questions he wanted to ask being reflected in his glowing, colorful eyes.
“Headmaster… I’m ready.”
But, the red eyes that looked back at him had not even a spark of hesitation.
They surely had uncertainty, but they were prepared to see through the results, whatever they might be.
“Alright then.”
The headmaster was only a small contributor in this experiment. The ones that were going to do all the main work were the rest of these children.
“Channel Theta: Ready.”
The headmaster gave his green light, and at the same time, opened up the gates of the various protective spells that they had installed all around the cave.
“Great.”
[At the break of dawn.]
-Oooooooooooong!
The time to start their little experiment had arrived.
With all the spells lighting up one by one, with all the spells containing protective or assistive abilities present around them activating, a unique emotion rushed through Eon.
[{ Master, we are ready. }]
[{ “Thanks Celes.” }]
Eon knew how worried his familiar was.
He knew how uncertain his fiancee was. And he also knew how much this whole dumb experiment could be dangerous to all of them present here.
But still, the flames in his eyes were not affected by any of it.
‘Okay…’
[{ *It has begun, master…* }]
First of all, the spells would activate and when that ends, they would activate the floating artifact…
-Oooooooooooooong!
It was not anything complicated so, in the following few moments, the first step was cleared.
‘Now.’

Eon looked around him for one last time… he looked at the anxious yet hopeful eyes of his partner, the uncertain eyes of the person that loved his partner, the confident eyes of the person that he wanted to have as his subordinate, and the colorful eyes that were trusting in him.
He looked at all that, looked through the data readings with his third eye, and after checking up on everything else, his eyes returned back to his president.
[{ “Start.” }]
The president received a simple nod from him, and though the signal was simple, it made the president sweat up a little.
Just like the rest of them, his heart was also beating wildly right now, but that did not stop him either.
“Sansan.”
He simply patted the head of his familiar and gave it the signal that the creature had been waiting for.
“Ptsssss!”
-Ooooooooooooooong!
There were all kinds of rare herbs and treasures present around the two right now. Some so valuable that their values could not even be measured with the basic scale of gold and platinum.
If one were to take even a tenth of these treasures, they would be able to go a realm beyond and attain a higher mastery in any physical or magical practice.
But, that was not what they were going to do with them today.
“Ptsssss…!”
-Ooooooooooong!
The creature, the Okagi with a pinnacle skill, activated its innate skill and turned everything present around it, all the treasures and meds into particles of energy and these particles were then swallowed by the wide maw that opened and devoured them.
-Zaaaaa…!
The creature’s eyes started glowing in a bright gold as soon as that was over.
The golden patterns all around its features and the scale covered body started glowing along with its eyes as well, indicating the activation of the pinnacle skill.
-Crrrrk…!
Unexpectedly, a great pressure covered the entire cave, great enough to trigger and break a few defensive spells present around it.
Thankfully, the pressure did not affect the artifacts or the crystals present around them, and it also disappeared soon.
When the golden patterns around the creature vanished, the glow in its eyes still remained.
[7:02 AM]
The creature, Sansan also remained still as well for a moment.
-Trrrr.
“Headmaster!”
But then, Zodiac sensed something from his partner, and alerted the headmaster to get ready.
-Oooooooooooong!
Soon, Sansan’s mouth started expanding like a balloon as its eyes returned to normal, and after a moment, with its face turned towards the headmaster…
“Ghhhhhhhhhhhh!”
-Oooooooooong!
The creature shot out a blinding beam of light that had a weight of its own.
“Ughh!”
When the headmaster received it with the artifact in his care, he did not think the impact of the collision would be so great.
He was almost pushed back by half a step, but he handled himself well, and closed the mouth of the artifact in a split second!
-Zaaaaaaa…!
Then, the real struggle started.
