Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1093 Energy Processing

“Haaa!”

[8:01 AM]

The headmaster started pouring out all of his energy into the artifact, pushing the artifact to its limits from the start.

-Oooooooong!

The intensity meter that they installed in it instantly started glowing red, and even started blinking, indicating that it was working to its limits.

The initial input was around fifteen percent more than they had predicted. But, even though it was putting a lot of pressure on the headmaster, he maintained the balance between the energies within the artifact and around him.

He made sure there was minimal chance of error when he used the artifact to spread apart the input energy.

But still, the process was not simple.

If one had to put it into words, what the headmaster was doing right now was the same as pulling apart a sweater thread by thread, something like undoing a complex layer of lasagna.

-Oooooooong!

Though he was an archmage with more than one world authority and many blessings under his arsenal, even with his Aether, it was not an easy task for him to

[10:11 AM]

The device was delicate even though it was made out of the strongest and best materials they could find.

Some of the best craftsmen had worked on these artifact’s parts so they were not simple devices either, and yet, without the delicate control of the headmaster where he maintained the artifact at an intensity just enough where they do not break, the artifact would have been long gone…

[11:22 AM]

“Eon!”

Still, while it took time, his part came to an end soon as well.

“I’m ready, headmaster!”

The headmaster was ready to release the intense energy beam that was born after the energy that was spread open inside the artifact.

It had become so hot it resembled the sun itself, and if it wasn’t for the artifact that contained it, everyone else would have been blinded by its intensity.

But still, the headmaster finished his part, and now it was Eon’s turn.

He would have to be the one to do the impossible.

“Be careful!”

Including the headmaster, everyone else present there covered their eyes with a special glass made with a special material that could even block the harsh rays of sun.

-Ooooooooooooong!

And yet, when the insurmountable, unfathomable energy was released from the prism, all of them including Eon were momentarily blinded by it.

-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!

The light was brighter than they had expected as well, and the power contained within it was so intense it was comparable to a (tier-7) destructive spell.

And yet…

[12:00 PM]

-Bang!

Eon took it head on with his body… a hole was not made due to this powerful laser, but even though the light completely entered his body, the boy ended up coughing a mouthful of blood as he had received internal injuries due to the impact of the light.

“EON…!”

Rein was worried as she screamed her name, but, Mirror stopped her from taking any steps inside the test zone.

[{ “Trust him, master.” }]

This was the last part of the experiment.

And, it was going to be the most excruciating one as well…

[Eon’s POV: ]

When the bright white light came towards me, I knew I was facing something that was more powerful than the corrupt slime that I fought in the forbidden forest.

It was also more powerful than the fire boar I fought, it was more powerful than the demon noble that was summoned during the winter auction by the Rakshasas, and it was also on a different level compared to any attacks I had faced until now.

I knew that if that attack contained enough impact force like it did when it was in the form of the elixir that Sansan made, then I would die in an instant.

‘However…’

I knew this ‘energy’ did not contain Mass. In the headmaster’s decomposition process, the energy had lost most of its mass and had become as light as… light.

It was comparable, but the bright energy beam that was coming towards me was not exactly light so, I knew we had succeeded halfway through.

‘Lucy.’

And, now… it was my turn.

[{ *I’m ready, master.* }]

She was ready, she knew what we had to do, so, as the energy collided with my body, I was already prepared to accept it.

-Ooooooooooooooong!

The sudden influx of pure energies that had collided with me were instantly accepted by my unique body, though it was not something as simple as it sounded.

“Ughhh!”

When I felt the impact of energy on my body, I did not feel much pressure, but as soon as the pure energies started interacting with the existing energies inside my body, I felt as if hundreds of thousands of venomous snakes had invaded my body.

[{ *I’ll begin now.* }]

When Lucy activated the defensive and experimental protocol, I was trying my best to just keep my sanity.

But, after a moment, I felt as if I had turned into a miniature version of myself and had entered my body.

[{ *The filtration process will now begin.* }]

I knew I was not doing anything yet, I felt as if I had become a small version of myself that was now facing all those hundreds of thousands of venomous snakes.

I was not moving myself, but the smaller version of myself was moving at a tremendous speed.

He had a bow in his hand, and he was creating arrows out of his own body as it shot them towards the snakes, and cleared them all.

‘Sometimes, in the place where there were snakes, a very small dot of light was remaining. And this dot of light automatically moved past ‘me’ and started gathering behind me.

-Swish Swish! Swish!

As the smaller version of myself continued on shooting arrows at the creatures… at the colorful snakes that were attacking me in an attempt to consume me whole, the representations of the decomposed energy which was now there in a pure form… the energies started vanishing.

The thing that was left in their place was the actual pure energy containing the purest essence of life, something that was only left because ‘I’ was a living being.

‘What we were doing here, what Lucy was doing here was simple.’

Since my body could accommodate all kinds of energies, and since I had the ability to circulate all kinds of energies in my body, I could accommodate even these vigorous and unstable pure energies.

‘Since I could accommodate them, I could also eliminate them from my body or push them out where they would scatter into the surroundings and get pushed out of this atrophic zone.’

To push them out, Lucy had used a unique algorithm, using my inner life energy in a way that pushed all the other energies out with the strong blows.

‘And since she was using my life energy to do this, what we were ultimately left with, was also purest of the energy that contained life essence.’

[2:13 PM]

I knew doing this was dangerous for my life as well.

To use my life energy was the same as giving up my life with each arrow that was released by the smaller version of mine.

It would leave my mental and astral bodies severely weakened. And if it goes beyond a threshold, I might die as well.

‘Without sufficient life energy sustaining my existence, I would die regardless of a completely healthy body and mind.’
