Chapter 646: Chapter 646: I Can’t Tell You That

Orion Osborne seemed unfazed. "They’re just people here looking for a good time. Even if this place gets discovered, nothing will happen to them. And if the authorities show up, the owner will have already grabbed the cash and bolted. There’s nothing to worry about."

Claire Sinclair frowned. "Listening to you, it sounds like this place must have a lot of exits?"

Orion Osborne nodded. "There are many exits, but aside from the person who designed this place, nobody knows all of them. Even I have only found three or five."

"You come here often?"

"Not often. Just occasionally."

Claire Sinclair said doubtfully, "But you seem to know your way around here."

"I just happen to know the owner here."

"Who is it?" Claire Sinclair asked at once.

Orion Osborne shook his head gently. "I can’t tell you that."

Claire Sinclair was a little disappointed, but she understood his position and didn’t press him. Still, there was one question she had to ask. "Who were the people that grabbed me?"

Orion Osborne dodged the question. "To be precise, the person they were really after was your sister. But since you’re her sister, and she’s dead, they had to settle for you."

Claire Sinclair said, annoyed, "You’ve said all this, but you still haven’t told me who they are."

Orion Osborne just gave a slight smile and said no more.

Claire Sinclair pressed on. "Since you’ve already said that much, you might as well just tell me."

The words had barely left her lips when a man walked over and stopped at Orion Osborne’s side.

He had a sharp chin and stubble, and his skin was very pale. He didn’t look like he was from Aridia; he looked like a foreigner.

The man looked down at Orion Osborne, his tone full of respect. He began to speak in a language Claire Sinclair couldn’t understand a word of.

When he was finished, Orion Osborne simply nodded without saying a word, and the man turned and left.

Less than a minute later, another person approached, holding a bouquet of vibrant red roses, and placed it in front of Claire Sinclair.

The person set down the flowers, said something to Orion Osborne, and then also turned and left.

Claire Sinclair looked at the flowers before her, completely baffled. "What’s with the flowers?"

"They’re flowers from Paradise. You can look, but don’t take them with you."

"Huh?" Claire Sinclair didn’t quite understand.

Orion Osborne offered a simple explanation. "They’re trying to suck up to me. Too bad for them, I’m not that easy to win over, so they’re trying to get to me through you."

"Me?" Claire Sinclair was even more baffled by his explanation.

Orion Osborne just smiled charmingly, leaving her hanging again.

’This guy is so infuriating!’

After dinner, Claire Sinclair insisted on taking a walk through the casino. Orion Osborne, unable to refuse her, took her there.

The casino was also bustling with activity. Claire Sinclair wandered around for a while, but she didn’t hear any familiar voices. She ended up leaving in disappointment, but she wasn’t ready to give up yet and insisted on going to the dance club.

The dance club was incredibly loud. Once inside, Claire Sinclair had to shout to be heard at all.

In a place this loud, even if Teacher Hartwell and Theo Rhodes were also here, she’d never be able to pick out their voices. It was pointless to stay. ’I might as well go back, get some rest, and think of a new plan,’ she thought.

Deciding to head back, Claire Sinclair turned to look for Orion Osborne, but he was nowhere in sight.

’That guy!’

A sudden unease washed over Claire Sinclair. She shouted his name, but her voice was completely lost in the din of the club.

As she spun around, she accidentally bumped into a woman who was dancing wildly.

Claire Sinclair immediately apologized, "I’m sorry!"

The woman’s eyes flashed with annoyance. She snarled, "Sorry, my ass! Get on your knees, and then I’ll forgive you!"
