At Sayer’s command, several squads of soldiers responded and entered the woods.

The military of Myanmar has a rather unique structure; a squad consists of seven men. These few squads totaled over thirty men, and under the leadership of an officer, they immediately plunged into the mountain forest.

The officer was clearly experienced in jungle tracking. As soon as he entered the forest, he found traces of the soldiers who had gone in before.

But he quickly discovered the communicator was useless. The signal was dead.

’How can this be?’

He had failed to notice the signal jammers placed on several of the surrounding trees.

Those who entered had no way of contacting the outside world.

Which also meant that those on the outside had no idea what was happening within the forest.

Seeing that his communicator was useless, the officer fled in an even greater panic.

Just then, an even more enormous snake appeared, blocking his path. The sheer size of the colossal serpent drained all the color from the officer’s face.

Soon, the only things left were the faint scent of blood drifting through the woods, the corpses lying on the ground, and the sound of Mutant Beasts stepping on and snapping dry branches.

Lu Feng was in no hurry.

His goal wasn’t to annihilate the soldiers from Myanmar. After all, they were a real army, far too numerous to wipe out completely. Even his Mutant Beasts would eventually tire.

The other soldiers saw this and quickly raised their guns to aim, but more giant Gray Wolves charged out from the undergrowth, along with over ten Hyenas.
