Sayer followed the sound and saw an even larger giant snake charging out.

After killing Sayer, the giant snake turned without hesitation and headed back into the forest it came from. On its way, it passed the body of a dead Mutant Gray Wolf, snatched up the corpse in its mouth, and vanished into the trees.

The Mutant Gray Wolves and Mutant Hyenas did the same. After a series of howls, they each picked up the corpse of a nearby fallen beast and disappeared into the forest, paying no more attention to the soldiers from Myanmar.

This was, of course, Lu Feng’s command. The bodies of the dead Mutant Beasts had to be retrieved; otherwise, the corpses might cause trouble later on.
