A helicopter streaked across the sky.

"His Excellency the Governor, the Korona Mountain Range is just ahead," Commander Red Lizard said, looking out the window of the helicopter.

After arranging the helicopter for Lu Feng, he had personally accompanied him.

He hadn’t asked about the purpose of the trip, however.

He knew his job was simply to carry out the Governor’s orders. If there was anything else he needed to know, the Governor would tell him.

Lu Feng commanded, "Find a place to land at the designated coordinates."

The helicopter pilot had already received the location data.

Now, upon receiving the order, he began to descend into the mountain range, searching for a suitable landing spot.

He found a massive stone plateau and was just about to land when he exclaimed, "Governor, Commander! There’s a large military gathering on the mountain path over there! There are so many of them."

The pilot’s voice was clearly agitated, which meant the number of troops was by no means small.

Commander Red Lizard immediately looked into the distance. Sure enough, he saw a dense concentration of troops, though they were too far away to make out any details.

He hurriedly grabbed a pair of binoculars and looked toward the location. "It’s Myanmar’s forces. Their heading seems to be toward Boya... Are they planning to make a move on Boya?"

"Governor, is this why you came here?"

Commander Red Lizard guessed.

The Governor’s previous order to expedite the decapitation strike must have been because he knew about Myanmar’s movements.

He just didn’t understand why the Governor had come here.

After all, with Myanmar having gathered so many troops, they were clearly determined to take Boya.

Coming here alone, they couldn’t do anything, much less stop them.

The helicopter landed on the stone plateau.

Commander Red Lizard disembarked and once again raised his binoculars to the distant force. "Governor, I’m afraid they’ll be crossing into Boya’s territory soon. How should we respond?"

Lu Feng didn’t answer. He simply unleashed his Summoned Beast ability.

One by one, mutated Gray Wolves, mutated Hyenas, and giant mutated snakes were summoned, appearing out of thin air and surrounding the massive rock in an instant.

This terrified both Commander Red Lizard and the pilot.

"What are these things?" The helicopter pilot’s face turned deathly pale.

"Governor, they..." Commander Red Lizard’s expression changed drastically in an instant, a chill running down his spine.

They hadn’t seen where the beasts came from at all; it was as if they had materialized out of thin air.

Moreover, the creatures were enormous, far exceeding their normal sizes.

The largest of the giant snakes, in particular, was terrifyingly huge.

’The crucial point is, how can Hyenas, Gray Wolves, and snakes coexist so peacefully?’

He subconsciously glanced at Lu Feng.

He knew this Governor possessed a mysterious power, one that was beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

It was like the time the Governor had just stood there, letting a group of armed men open fire on him, yet remained completely unharmed.

’These bizarre beasts must be His Excellency the Governor’s doing, right?’

Normally, they would be at each other’s throats. The pack of Gray Wolves, especially, would definitely have attacked the other two groups.

"Don’t worry, they won’t attack you," Lu Feng said reassuringly to the panicked Commander Red Lizard and the pilot, then stepped toward the edge of the rock.

At the same time, the largest giant snake slithered forward and lowered its head to the ground, its snout coming to rest right at Lu Feng’s feet.

Lu Feng leaped lightly, landing atop the giant snake’s head.

The great snake then raised its head again, letting out a sharp HISS. It lifted Lu Feng high into the air.

Lu Feng stood perfectly balanced on the snake’s head, looking down on everything from his elevated position.

Commander Red Lizard and the pilot watched this scene in absolute shock.

The pilot, in particular, stood with his mouth agape. He had never witnessed Lu Feng’s methods before, and the scene unfolding before him shattered his understanding of reality.

’Is our Governor a god?’

’He can actually command such a terrifying snake?’

After lifting Lu Feng, the giant snake began to move, darting into the forest below with incredible speed.

The other giant snakes followed, with the mutated Gray Wolves and Hyenas close behind.

They were heading in the exact direction of the Myanmar army.

After taking in the situation, Commander Red Lizard turned to the helicopter pilot and said, "When you get back, I’ll have you transferred to my personal guard."

"Yes, Commander Red Lizard," the pilot nodded at once.

He understood the meaning: forget what he saw today and tell no one. Being transferred to serve as a commander’s personal guard was a great stroke of luck for him.

This was indeed what Commander Red Lizard meant.

After all, the Governor’s mysterious powers had always been kept from the outside world.

A winding mountain path snaked through the Korona Mountain Range.

It was an undeveloped, ancient trail, a natural path formed by a fissure in the mountains.

This path had been untouched for years and was overgrown with weeds. However, as heavy armored vehicles rolled over it, the weeds were all flattened.

As squad after squad marched through, the ancient trail was cleared, making passage smooth.

Midway along the path, inside a command vehicle, Sayer was watching the news on a built-in screen.

The reports were all about Boya and the Xuanfeng Alliance.

’I never thought that Boya, always so weak and quiet, would suddenly pull off something this sensational,’ he thought. It was the matter he was most concerned with right now.

In Myanmar, he controlled the largest military force, yet he was only ranked third in status. This was only because the two guys ahead of him knew how to win over domestic merchants and had their financial backing.

’Fucking bullshit.’

’No matter,’ he mused. ’This time, if I can take Boya, establish a seaport, and open up maritime shipping for our pillar industries like lumber, minerals, and carvings... we’ll be able to develop rapidly.’

’If that happens, those merchants will support me. In the next election, those two bastards can get lost and make way for me.’

"Mr. Sayer, we’re about to enter the Boya District," a voice reported.

Hearing the report, Sayer immediately barked, "All units, full speed ahead! We end this battle before the Xuanfeng Alliance forces enter Boya."

He was well aware that after what Boya had just done, the Xuanfeng Alliance would certainly retaliate.

This was precisely why he had the pretext to enter Boya "in support of" the Xuanfeng Alliance.

But he had no desire to invade and crush Boya only for the Xuanfeng Alliance to show up and claim a piece of the pie.

With that thought, Sayer dismissed the matter and instead pulled out a map of Boya to study it.

They were about to enter Boya, and he needed to finalize a detailed plan of attack.

But as he was studying the map, he suddenly heard panicked shouts erupt over the comms:

"Damn it, what is that thing—!"

"AHHH—"

"What’s happening? Answer me!"

"Team that entered the forest, report! What happened?"

"Answer me!"

Unfortunately, the channel fell silent. There was no response.

Sayer listened quietly, his brow furrowing. Something was wrong.

’Did the team in the forest run into a pack of beasts?’

A moment later, an officer ran up to him breathlessly and reported, "Mr. Sayer, a few soldiers went into the woods to drive off some animals, but we’ve lost contact with them."

"Take me there," Sayer ordered with a frown. The officer got into the vehicle to give directions, and the command car drove forward, quickly arriving at the location.

By this time, squads of soldiers had already gathered, their weapons aimed at the forest.

Sayer looked at the silent woods and gave a direct order: "Send in a few more squads. There must be a pack of beasts in there. The first group is probably dead. If you encounter the pack, open fire with everything you’ve got and wipe them out. Then we move out as soon as possible."

He wasn’t concerned about a few wild animals; he was worried about anything that might slow down his advance into Boya.
