I Can Level Up Infinitely
Chapter 327: E-Class
Leon looked at Bella. "Yeah. Why?"
"But you don’t seem to have any energy. You are going to die there." Bella said with a worried expression. ’What’s Emily even planning? She didn’t want me to go inside. I am an A-Class hunter. My comrades aren’t weak either. But she asked us to wait. But she is taking him inside?’
"Oh, that!" Leon let loose a little. And instantly, an overwhelming pressure weighed on them. It wasn’t suffocating. It didn’t threaten them. But everyone’s expression changed one hundred and eighty degrees.
Bella stepped back instinctively. She was an A-Class hunter. A peak A-Class hunter. Other than Emily, there was almost no one among her peers who could compare against her. But here she was. Looking at a boy who was definitely younger than her, yet the aura he just emanated was definitely stronger than hers. She moved aside, clearing the path to the Lizard’s den.
Leon nodded before walking forward. He stepped into the shimmering surface, vanishing on the opposite side.
For a moment, only silence. Everyone stared at Leon’s retreating back. They didn’t know him. But they knew one thing now. Leon was strong. Just a simple release of his energy was enough to establish that. And Leon did it so swiftly, without any flashy movement.
"Who was that boy? Have we seen him before?" Gavin asked.
"Definitely not. Or else we would have certainly remembered someone like him." A girl from the group of six spoke.
"Was he the Leon Emily spoke of?" Another girl chimed in.
"Maybe yes. The other boy was Sol, Emily’s brother. So it definitely has to be him."
"So he’s Emily’s trump card or something?" Bella whispered.
"Bella, what should we do now? Should we really just wait outside? Those who entered the dungeon might get in trouble as well. This is the Lizard’s den we are talking about." The other male hunter in the group spoke.
After a while, Gavin spoke. "Let’s just wait here, Rafael. We will wait for half a day. After that, we will enter the dungeon if they don’t come out. What do you think, Bella?"
Bella nodded. "Sounds like a plan."
"Then it’s settled," Gavin said.
Meanwhile, inside the dungeon, Leon appeared in a tunnel-like cave. A foul odor lingered in the air. Glowing runes were embedded in the walls, emitting a faint light. As a result, the cave wasn’t completely dark, but visibility was still poor. Leon could barely see ten meters ahead. The air was cold and damp.
"Big bro! You are finally here." Sol immediately got excited. "What took you so long?"
"That girl was worried about me entering the dungeon."
"Hahaha. Imagine how her face would have looked if she could come inside." Sol said.
"Didn’t you leave with your father?" Snow suddenly asked. She was so busy focusing on Bella and Emily’s conversation that she hadn’t even noticed Sol until they entered the dungeon together.
"Yeah. Then I sneaked away." Sol said casually, as if it was a normal thing to do.
"Father is going to be angry," Emily added.
"Let him be. Big bro. What now? We are finally inside a dungeon."
"Nothing much. Just try your best to avoid engaging with the monsters. But if you find you are in danger, protect yourselves."
Everyone nodded.
"What about us?"
Lamia and Frenrir emerged from within Leon’s soul sanctuary. Frenrir looked much younger now. He had been cultivating with the demon core Leon had given him. As a result, he recovered a lot of what he lost from burning his life essence.
"Same instruction for you as well."
"Alright." They replied in unison.
After that, they started walking ahead. The more they went deeper, the more the air grew thicker. Almost twenty minutes went by, yet no monster came out.
But just as the tunnel grew wider, growling sounds echoed. Leon and others stopped in their tracks.
Five monstrous figures suddenly emerged from the shadows. They were humanoid lizards, each standing over two meters tall. Their muscular bodies were covered in rough, pale green scales, with patches of yellow across their chests and abdomens. Their eyes glowed under the dim light of the cave. Long snouts protruded from their faces, filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth. Thick, powerful tails extended behind them, swaying from side to side as they approached. Rows of sharp, bony spikes ran from the backs of their elongated, reptilian heads down to their necks and spines.
Each monster wore a crude loincloth made from dark animal hide. Two of the lizard men were carrying weapons. Shields and lances. One was carrying a red orb in its left hand. The other two were bare-handed. These two were comparatively more muscular than the other three.
"Hissssss!"
One of the creatures with the orb opened its jaws, revealing its sharp fangs as a long, forked tongue flickered out.
The other four spread out, two gripping their weapons tightly as they slowly advanced toward the group. Two cracked their knuckles.
"Weak," Sol said. "These five are only E-Class monsters. Wish we could go to the deeper layers directly."
Leon raised his hand, his palm open and facing the ceiling. "Fireball." He whispered. The next moment, a fireball materialized over his palm. Then it split into five smaller fireballs.
Leon twisted his wrist slightly. Those five fireballs whistled through the air instantly.
The two lizard men with shields raised their shields to block. But the moment the fireballs slammed into those shields, a hole appeared in each of the shields as the fireballs kept moving forward. The shields didn’t crack. The fireballs literally melted their way forward before slamming into the two lizard men.
Whoooooosh!
Whoooooosh!
As the fireballs struck them, their bodies were instantly engulfed in flames. Before they could even scream, their flesh disintegrated, leaving nothing behind.
The one with the orb flicked his right wrist. Instantly, an ice barrier materialized before him. But the ice barrier proved to be more useless than the shields. The moment the fireball struck the ice barrier, a sharp hiss echoed through the cave. The entire barrier vaporized instantly, unable to withstand the overwhelming heat. And then... The fireball struck the monster.
Whoooooosh!
Another monster fell.
