I Begged His Brother to Get Me Pregnant
Chapter 153: I’ll Send You a Screenshot
Chapter 153: Chapter 153: I’ll Send You a Screenshot
"Julian Sterling! You tricked me into getting that divorce! By the time Ryan and I were at the Sterling Estate, we were already divorced!"
Strictly speaking, she was single then!
Who she was with and what she did was perfectly normal!
"But that’s my brother! Even if you were divorced, you’re still my ex-wife! Besides, he was already in love with you back when I married you! He admitted it himself, so what is there to argue about?"
Bringing this up made Julian Sterling even angrier.
One was his wife, the other his own brother. Now they were together. Had either of them ever considered his feelings?
"So you went after my child? You’re a murderer!"
Evelyn Grant had never spoken to him in this tone before.
Now, she was on the verge of losing her mind.
On the other end of the line, Julian Sterling wasn’t faring any better.
"That child should never have existed! If he had been born, what would have happened to me? Do you have any idea how many people would have laughed at me?!"
"We’re already divorced. We’ve gone our separate ways. The kind of woman you choose has nothing to do with me, and who I’m with has nothing to do with you! Just because I was your wife, does that mean I can never remarry?"
’What kind of logic is that!’
"You can remarry, but it absolutely cannot be to my own brother! It just can’t be Ryan Sterling!"
"Your reasoning is absurd, Julian. You never think you’re the one at fault."
’Last time, he tricked me into going to the Sterling Estate and tried to make a move on me, and I already let him off the hook once.’
’I can’t believe he still hasn’t given up!’
"No, I know I was wrong. I admit it." Julian’s tone and volume suddenly dropped. "My mistake was letting you go. My mistake was divorcing you."
How could he not know he was wrong?
God only knew how much Julian Sterling regretted it.
If he had known that one day he would lose Evelyn Grant completely, if he had known how important she actually was in his life, how could he ever have let her go?
But what was the use of regret?
There was no starting over. His only option was to try and win Evelyn Grant back. It was the only way.
"You think that was your mistake, but I think divorcing you was the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life!"
If she hadn’t been sent to prison by Julian Sterling, how would she ever have known how much Ryan loved her? How would she have known there was someone in this world who was always watching over her, always wanting to be with her, treasuring her every smile and every little thing she did?
Julian Sterling suddenly laughed.
"The best decision?"
"That’s right! The very best decision!"
"It wasn’t as ’best’ as you think, was it? You think Ryan loves you that much? You think he hasn’t used any tricks on you, that he just loves you with all his heart?"
Evelyn Grant didn’t have the slightest doubt and shot back, "That’s right! He’s not a schemer like you! His love is genuine, with nothing fake about it!"
"Heh, that’s just because Ryan’s a better actor than I am! That doesn’t mean anything. It only proves that you’ve always been a fool!"
"...What do you mean?"
"Here, I’ll send you a screenshot. You’ll understand once you see it."
Evelyn Grant’s delicate brows furrowed. She instinctively assumed this was just another one of Julian’s attempts to sow discord.
"I’m not looking! Don’t you dare slander Ryan. I won’t believe a word you say!"
