Legion just snorted and directed the virtual copy to use the Gestalt Mind divine ability. This caused a powerful mental wave to erupt from the virtual copy of their mind. The powerful mental wave washed over the mind of the god of knowledge and tried to rewrite his ego and identity.

The attempt to rewrite the mind of the god of knowledge failed because his mind was encrypted and because his ego was heavily protected by his authority.

Legion just didn’t have enough power to enslave his mind. But the most important reason why they failed in enslaving the mind of the god of knowledge was that Legion wasn’t trying their best.

The difference between a god and a high god that has fused completely with their pathway is very large, so it should be impossible for Legion to succeed in enslaving the god of knowledge. But they can overcome the difference in power through the generous use of the Offensive Adaptation divine ability.

However, Legion didn’t use the Offensive Adaptation divine ability because they didn’t want to expose it to the god of knowledge.

In fact, they couldn’t tell much about this god because their figure was like smoke. The figure of the god was a transparent phantom that moved with the wind and looked as if it would be blown apart by the wind at any moment.

Before they could speak, the god said to them, “I know what you’re here for. You want to kill the god of nobles.”
