Chapter 2566: Can’t Sit Still.

The god of death didn’t doubt the sincerity of the god of telepathy. After all, the god of telepathy had already sworn an oath with the offer. So he stopped what he was about to do in favor of seriously considering the offer.

The god of death decided to consult the god of nobles and the god of disaster about whether they should accept this deal. The three of them were inclined to accept it because having a powerful god like the god of telepathy on their side would be very helpful for their goals.

The best part about this deal is that they have no reason to be wary of the god of telepathy, and if the god of telepathy succeeds in getting the authority of the pathway of illusion, he will become even stronger. These are excellent benefits for an ally to have.

They wanted to accept the deal. But before they could make up their mind to accept the deal, the god of justice decided to make a move.

The god of justice had been watching the situation with slight amusement and enjoyment because he was looking forward to the failure of the god of telepathy. The god of illusion had done some things to anger him earlier and he had been waiting for the opportunity for revenge.

Some of his believers had died during the clash between the god of illusion and the god of telepathy. The god of telepathy was the one to kill them. So if the god of death hadn’t appeared, he would have surely appeared to stop the god of telepathy from having his way.

Since the god of death decided to come out to stop the god of telepathy, he thought he was going to see a good show. He was looking forward to his two enemies harming himself.

According to his plan, once the two sides have damaged each other to a sufficient level, he would intervene to take advantage of the situation.

But once the god of telepathy made that offer, he quickly recognized how bad the situation was for him. So he made up his mind not to allow the god of telepathy to grow stronger.

He said in anger, “I knew I hated telepaths for a reason. They are too despicable.”

With his mind made up, he used the rank 9 divine ability called the Eyes of Judgement. This is the divine ability that will cause all of the pain and injuries that the target has dealt to others to pile up on the target in an instant.

After seeing the god of telepathy kill many believers of the god of illusion just recently, he was sure that the divine ability would be enough to deal with the virtual body and even affect the main body wherever it might be hiding.

It was clear that he was being ruthless with this move. He wasn’t just aiming to destroy the virtual body. He was also aiming to deal a deadly blow to the true body of the god of telepathy.

Once he used the divine ability, two small stars appeared in the dark sky above the tenebrum world. These two stars were the eyes of the god of justice. Their appearance was the prelude to the coming attack.

But before the attack could hit the virtual body, the god of death stepped forward to block the eyes. The god of death stood in front of the god of telepathy and used the Death Ray divine ability.

The Death Ray created a black beam of light that erupted from the mouth of the giant winged serpent. The black beam struck the two stars in the sky and caused the Eyes of Judgement divine ability to fail in targeting the virtual body.

This turn of events angered the god of justice. He became so angry that he used his ultimate ability immediately.

He used the Star of Purification, so a bright star appeared in the sky above the virtual body. Then a massive pillar of light struck down from the sky.

This attack had appeared behind the god of death, so it would be difficult for the giant winged serpent to block it. But the god of disaster appeared above the virtual body with a mirror, which he used to reflect the giant pillar of light.

What he didn’t want to happen was already happening. The god of death and his allies have decided to help the god of telepathy. This further angered the god of justice.

But the god of justice didn’t give up. Since they are already his enemies, there was no use stepping back now. So he used the Eyes of Fire divine ability.

As he used the divine ability, he said, “Since you all want to work together, you can all burn to death.”

The Eyes of Judgment caused the two small stars in the sky to turn the world beneath their gaze into a sea of fire. Everything that the light of the two stars was shining on caught fire immediately.

This fire attacked everyone indiscriminately. It attacked the god of death, the god of disaster, the two virtual bodies, the painted god of strength, and the god of illusion.

The fire ravaged the world with the power of a violent hurricane and the force of an avalanche falling down on everyone. The painted beings and the virtual copies suffered the most. They couldn’t resist at all and were quickly incinerated.

The other gods could still defend themselves somewhat. But everything on the battlefield that didn’t have the power of a god was incinerated instantly.

But just as the god of justice was feeling smug, a decree suddenly reverberated throughout heaven and earth, saying, “Fire from the sky is forbidden.”

Along with this decree came the power of the god of nobles. This power swept away the fire in the world and restored peace to the world.

The eye of the god of justice twitched when he saw this. He said, “So be it. Since you want to collude, you will all die here together.”
