Chapter 2533: How To Enslave.

As soon as Legion-12 used the Mind Plague divine ability, the god of dreams disappeared. Both the god of dreams and the Dream Domain disappeared, leaving behind the subordinate god.

The subordinate god of dreams had deactivated the Dream Domain and allowed it to take the god of dreams away. After she did this, she also slipped away.

Or at least, she tried to slip away. But an invisible spear formed with the Mental Armament divine ability tore through the air and smashed into her just as her body became faint.

Her power was many times weaker than that of the god of killing, so even though the Mental Armament divine ability was only meant for attacking the first layer of the mind, it still tore through the second layer of her mind and annihilated the third layer of her mind.

Her ego was injured directly. It wasn’t shattered, so she was in no danger of having the connection between her body and her soul severed. But for the moment, she forgot what she was doing and who she was.

Legion took advantage of the situation to invade her mind with a Mental Domination divine ability. They could have easily enslaved her, but that would have impressed the authority of the pathway of slavery and caused it to pay attention to them.

That might draw the attention of the god of nobles to them, which would bring problems and danger. Even if it didn’t draw the attention of the god of nobles, they didn’t need the divine fragment from the authority of the pathway of slavery anymore, so it wasn’t worth the trouble.

They were still going to enslave her, though. After all, they needed her to help them fight in the dream realm. But rather than enslave her with the pathway of slavery, they chose to enslave her with the pathway of telepathy.

This fusion healed the damage to her mind and also made her remember who she was again.

Her eyes lit up with understanding as she said, “I am Legion.”

Then she reactivated the Dream Body divine ability and entered the dream realm. Once she returned to the dream realm, she began rushing in the direction of the god of dreams.

It was easy to find the god of dreams in the dream realm. This was because the god of dreams is the biggest thing in the dream realm.

But it was difficult to catch up to the god of dreams. After all, the god of dreams knew that they were coming and was running for his life.

The sight of the subordinate god pursuing the god of dreams brought a smile to Legion-12’s face. He said, “How the tables have turned. The hunter has suddenly become the prey.”

He licked his lips and said, “If you can take the Mind Palace and make use of it, I should be able to take the Dream Seed and make full use of it.”

The Dream Seed is the authority of the pathway of dreams. He learned that from perusing the mind of the god of dreams.

Already, he is earning a lot from the god of dreams. Having unrestricted access to the mind of a god was highly rewarding.

The fact that the mind belonged to the god of dreams and the god of dreams is one of the most knowledgeable people in the world only made the reward he was getting more bountiful. He was getting so much information from the mind of the god of dreams that it made Legion begin to rethink their plans.

Legion-4, who had a bone to pick with the god of knowledge and the pathway of knowledge, said, “Maybe we don’t need to devour the pathway of knowledge anymore. The god of dreams is all we need.”

He still wants to devour the pathway of knowledge, but after gaining the memories of the god of dreams and learning that the god of knowledge has fused with his pathway completely, he decided that it wasn’t worth it to fight the god of knowledge yet.

From the memories of the god of dreams, they learned that not all gods are equal in terms of power.. They learned that the power of the gods is dependent on the number of souls that they have.

What they learned was that the divine power of a god is the number of souls they have multiplied by the number of divine fragments that they possess, multiplied by the divinity that they can assimilate from the authority of their pathway.

The number of divine fragments that a god can have is equal to the number of souls they have, and the number of divinity that they can have is equal to the number of souls multiplied by the number of divine fragments.

In the case of the god of dreams, he has only 3 souls. This limited the maximum number of divine fragments that he could possess to 3, as each soul can only hold one.

Then the maximum number of divinity he can hold from his authority is 3 ×3, which is 9. This makes his total divine power 3 × 3 × 9 for a total of 81 units of divine power.

81 units of divine power may be pitiful for a god, but it is a large amount of divine power for a godling. Unfortunately for the god of dreams met Legion, who is a godling with 12 souls. Now he is running for his life.

From what they just learned, the god of knowledge won’t be easy to defeat at all because he managed to fuse with his pathway. This means that he has at least 10 souls, as this is the minimum number of souls required to fuse with a pathway completely.
