We reached the city exit. After walking out, I decided to leave with Lord Erwin. My gaze fell on Young Master Hale. The young master was terrified; he had no one left to help him now.

A second later, a few more figures appeared, dragging someone along. The person was none other than Elder Abel.

He looked dishevelled, and his eyes were dull. His appearance made it clear that he had lost the fight.

He was so lost in despair that he wasn’t even looking at Young Master Hale. Before coming here, they had imagined success and celebration.

But the ending was not in their favor. Someone had broken their plan.

They didn’t know that the person responsible was not the famous Forbidden Wizard Erwin, but the recently risen talented wizard of the Silver Tower, Vincent Carey.

At this time, my gaze shifted back and forth between the two of them. To be honest, I needed to thank them.

Forbidden Wizard Erwin swept his gaze across everyone. The Magic Lords from earlier had brought Elder Abel here.

This group was bringing City Lord Dorian and Guardian Marvin with them. They were culprits as well. Not only were the buildings destroyed here, but guests who came to the auction house had been killed.

Who was going to take responsibility? It was the responsibility of the City Lord. City Lord Dorian, out of personal greed, had colluded with outsiders.

Guardian Marvin was next, because he was the guardian of Young Master Sutton Hale.

Everyone then understood who Forbidden Wizard Erwin was looking at. The guests from the first and fourth private rooms were here as well.

They had wanted to leave long ago. But because of the presence of Forbidden Wizard Erwin, they were forced to stay back.

At this time, everyone felt a powerful mana pressure coming from outside. This time, the pressure was huge, not just one, but many wizards were coming.

In the blink of an eye, six powerful wizards appeared. They were all exuding the pressure of a Supreme Wizard, except for one. He was an old man, and he was the Magic Lord leading the group.

They were responsible for escorting the criminals to the prison.

The faces of the old man and the others changed drastically upon seeing Forbidden Wizard Erwin. They knew it was Erwin who had summoned them.

The six wizards landed on the ground and greeted Forbidden Wizard Erwin.

Erwin nodded at them, saying, “Take these people with you to the Magic City Prison first. I will report it to the higher-ups.”

Hearing that, the old man nodded and ordered the five men behind him to take the four prisoners.

Erwin then turned towards Vincent and said, “Everything is sorted now. It’s time for us to go.”

Hearing that, I nodded to him. I couldn’t wait to find out the benefits of the outer space item.

Then, I had to go and meet Patrick and Otto in Mist Fall City. I swept my gaze across the people, taking one last look at the city.

Under the gaze of many, I left with Forbidden Wizard Erwin. He grabbed my shoulder, and we disappeared from the spot.

The people gathered outside watched until we were gone from their sight.

The Magic Lords and the Supreme Wizards sighed in relief. Especially the guests from the first and fourth rooms; they finally relaxed their shoulders.

They were from different independent cities, and they felt that they could finally go back home now.

The next second, they started leaving one after another.

Falling Star City didn’t have a City Lord right now. Someone else would have to take over and oversee the reconstruction of the city.

A few minutes later, most of the powerhouses had left the city. The city looked empty now. The locals were the most relaxed of all.

Especially the locals living in the outer ring. When they heard the tyrant City Lord was gone, they burst with joy and started celebrating.

I was moving with Forbidden Wizard Erwin. The Forbidden Wizard had been talking about Falling Star City.

He thought that no one would become the next City Lord due to the exhausted mana vein, and that the city would be abandoned soon.

Suddenly, a crazy idea came to my mind. I had wanted to set up my base at Falling Star City earlier. What if I became the City Lord myself? We were currently moving in mid-air.

Erwin noticed Vincent’s reaction. He realized that kid was absent-minded.

“What are you thinking?” Erwin asked.

Hearing that, I recovered my thoughts and turned towards Lord Erwin. I didn’t know whether he would like my crazy plan or not.

“Lord!”

“What if I wanted to become the City Lord for Falling Star City?” I asked him.

Erwin was dumbfounded. Both of us paused in mid-air and looked at each other.

Erwin’s eyes were serious. He didn’t know what the kid was planning. But he knew that without any background, you couldn’t sit in that seat.

“Do you know how dangerous your thinking is?”

“You have been low-key so far. Once you become City Lord, you will be targeted by others ,” Erwin said.

“Don’t forget that you were targeted by the Forbidden Wizard Remi before. The old man I fought earlier was also from the Black Tower,” he added.

“I drove him away, but he will definitely carry resentment. If he learns about you, then you will become his target as well,” Erwin said in a serious tone.
