"I... what did I do?" Silvan’s voice trembled, he released Serene’s arm, eyes filled with terror and guilt.

He looked at his own hands, Serene’s blood still remained on them, the sight stung his eyes.

"Brother, you... how could you..." Serene’s voice choked with sobs, tears welling up and falling once more.

She looked at Silvan, eyes full of confusion and incomprehension, she didn’t understand why her brother, who had always doted on her, had suddenly become so terrifying.

Their mother and Alan also gathered around, their eyes full of worry and confusion.

"I... I..."

Silvan stared at his hands in disbelief.

It was him, he had done all of this himself, he was the ghost, he was the eerie entity.

His body trembled slightly, as if unable to bear this cruel reality, he looked down at his hands, the warm and powerful hands that were now stained with the blood of his kin, he couldn’t believe that all of this was actually caused by him.

Alan and his wife hugged their daughter, looking at Silvan in terror, they still hadn’t recovered from the shock.

A heavy scent of blood permeated the room, everyone was so shocked by this sudden turn that they couldn’t speak.

A bizarre silence fell over them.

Inside Silvan’s body, Bruce’s mouth was wide open, unable to utter a single word, he felt that none of the weird tales he had heard in his village were as outrageous as what he had just witnessed.

Adam looked at the family of four in the empty room and sighed softly, the cruel world was just like this, once you were targeted by an irresistible existence, every step you took was orchestrated by others.

"I... I didn’t know this would happen either."

Silvan’s voice trembled, but he broke the silence.

"Serene, I’m sorry, I didn’t know, I didn’t know it would be like this."

Now that he had regained his senses, he felt even deeper remorse.

"Brother, I think it’s best if you bandage me up first," Serene took a deep breath, the pain in her arm had turned her face pale.

Silvan hurriedly stepped forward, spiritual energy surfacing in his hands.

Meanwhile, their parents took a fearful step back.

"Dad, Mom, what are you doing? Brother definitely didn’t do it on purpose," Serene scolded lightly, she had been terrified just a moment ago, but now she had collected her thoughts.

That definitely wasn’t her brother’s true intention, she believed in her brother, he was already a powerful cultivator, yet he had risked his life to transfer the formation from her body into his own, a brother like that would absolutely never harm her, he was definitely under the influence of that formation or some other eerie power.

Serene’s unwavering trust made the guilt in Silvan’s heart run even deeper, at the same time, it warmed his heart, thankfully, he had a sister who understood him.

He crouched down and carefully infused spiritual energy into her wound, eyes filled with self-reproach, "I’m sorry, Serene, I truly don’t know why things turned out this way," his voice was low and shaky, he couldn’t forgive himself.

The terror in Alan and his wife’s hearts gradually shifted into confusion and worry, they knew Silvan had always been kind-hearted and responsible, but what had just happened was too difficult to comprehend.

"Silvan, what exactly happened to you?" Alan finally asked.

Silvan took a deep breath, "I don’t know either, but I suspect it’s definitely because of the formation from Sister’s body, I need a place for emergency secluded cultivation, you all need to leave me for now and stay at an inn in town."

"Brother, I want to stay with you," Serene cried out.

"No, I don’t know what I’ll become later, at least wait until I return to normal," Silvan refused without hesitation.

He didn’t understand the current situation at all, that formation was far more eerie than he had imagined.

"Brother..."

"Enough, this is not up for discussion," his tone became stern.

Serene puffed out her cheeks and furrowed her brows.

"Dad, Mom, go to the inner room, I need to examine myself," a thorn was stuck perpetually in his heart, if that formation wasn’t removed, it would remain a hidden danger forever.

After his family left, Silvan immediately began to look inward.

At his dantian, the formation had turned even blacker than before, it radiated an evil aura from every corner.

Silvan furrowed his brows tightly, had the formation suddenly mutated? What should he do?

He mobilized all his spiritual energy, surging it toward the formation, intending to grind it away.

However, the moment his spiritual energy touched it, the formation absorbed it without a trace, even worse, he felt an intense backlash that almost tore his soul apart.

He let out a muffled groan, a trace of fresh blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

This formation was clearly much more complex than he had imagined, possibly containing some bizarre power he couldn’t comprehend, he didn’t dare act rashly anymore and could only give up temporarily.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm the panic in his heart, the most important thing was to find a solution.

Is it still not enough? His current strength wasn’t sufficient, he had to advance to the Grandmaster Realm, he was already at the peak of the Innate Realm, only one step away.

Should I try to break through right here?

Silvan took a deep breath, the difference between the Grandmaster Realm and the Innate Realm was like heaven and earth, perhaps then he could grind the formation away directly.

I have to try.

He made up his mind, he had planned to break through soon anyway, now it was just much more urgent.

Forming hand seals, he sank his energy into his dantian and closed his eyes, throwing himself entirely into the attempt.

The spiritual energy within his body surged like a tidal wave, in the air, the originally formless spiritual energy began to gather, forming faint clouds and mist that slowly swirled around his body.

These clouds seemed drawn by a mysterious force, gradually converging toward his dantian.

Within Silvan’s dantian, a powerful force was incubating, like a slumbering giant dragon, after accumulating enough power, it began to slowly awaken, every beat seemed to carry a heaven-shaking power, causing the surrounding air to tremble.

Suddenly, Silvan’s body violently shuddered, and a formidable aura erupted from within him, as if breaking through some invisible shackle.
