The manager walked with a fawning smile on his face while Arthur and Sofia followed him.

Many guests inside the restaurant noticed that the manager was personally walking a couple toward the fifth floor, which was the absolute VIP floor. Soon, he brought them to a private room and respectfully opened the door for them.

"Sir, what would you like to order?" the manager asked.

"Bring all your specialties," Arthur ordered while taking his seat.

Sofia sat down as well, and the manager left the room with a smile before closing the door behind him.

Arthur and Sofia were now alone in the room.

"You look very beautiful, Ms. Sofia, in this dress," Arthur gave her a light compliment, but it was like a bullet to her heart.

When you fell in love, it was said that even a fart felt sweet, let alone a compliment.

"Umm, thank you, big shot," Sofia smiled, her cheeks turning red.

Who would have thought that the youngest general of the Arvia country, an absolute battle lord, was now behaving like a sixteen-year-old girl?

"While the food comes, let’s deal with the business," Arthur said directly without wasting any time.

Sofia also became serious and curious. Even she wanted to know what kind of business Arthur was talking about.

"I am going to sell Divine Golds for 1 billion dollars per piece. As much as you can buy," Arthur decided to take all the liquid money before the game merged with reality.

After all, once that happened, the total value of the dollar would become zero.

Sofia’s eyes widened.

"You are actually selling Divine Golds at ten times less than the System Shop?" she asked, her tone becoming agitated without even realizing it.

"Yeah. The dollar value will soon become almost worthless, but I have a use for it. So help me sell the golds. For every 1,000 Divine Golds you buy from me, I’ll give you a legendary item for free," he dropped another bomb.

Sofia almost screamed but managed to control her emotions.

"One more thing. I’ll deal with you directly, so the rest of the world will know that the Arvian government is selling the Divine Golds," Arthur said again.

"You are willing to give the credit to us?" Sofia was the most excited about this.

"Yeah," Arthur nodded.

Then they started discussing the land around the Evergreen Corporation and its surrounding areas.

After a thorough discussion, Sofia decided that the total architectural value was around 200 billion dollars.

Arthur immediately gave her 20 Divine Golds. As he was not selling them now, he paid with their current market value.

Sofia did not mind either.

When they finished talking, the manager personally brought all the food.

"Sir, ma’am, please enjoy," he smiled.

Arthur did not stand on ceremony either. He immediately started wolfing the food down.

Meanwhile, Sofia was trying not to show her wild side. In private, she ate like a gorilla, but currently, she needed to act like a proper lady, eating slowly and elegantly without even opening her mouth fully.

"Ms. Sofia, have you heard about the Temple of Gods in the game?" he asked.

"No. Why?" Sofia asked curiously.

"Try to become a member of the Temple if you get the chance. They will bring immense benefits. And finally, let me tell you something what truly matters," Arthur said seriously.

"What is it?" Sofia became even more curious now.

"When the 30-day mark is finished, the game will merge with reality, and monsters and bosses will come out into the real world. Prepare for the upcoming apocalypse as soon as possible," Arthur said.

What?

Sofia stood up from her seat. Her eyes were full of disbelief.

"Are you sure?" she asked. Her voice was trembling slightly.

"Yes, I am sure," Arthur nodded.

"Big shot, I’ll have to leave now. This needs an emergency meeting. If I ask you to join us in a video conference, will you please do it?" Sofia asked. She was now in full professional form.

"No problem. Do it quickly as well. I have some ideas too. I’ll tell them at the meeting about how to prepare for the upcoming apocalypse," Arthur nodded.

While Sofia was about to leave, suddenly, her phone rang.

"Hello, Commander Jennifer," she answered calmly, having already suppressed the shock in her heart.

"General, an emergency has appeared," the other side said in an urgent tone.

Arthur could hear clearly what was being said on the phone even though it was not on speaker.

"What happened?" Sofia asked.

"At the Martian Trench of the Terranian Ocean, five of our submarines were destroyed. Though the navy was handling the situation, today, a strange species came out from the ocean and asked to meet the human leaders within 24 hours.

"They look like mermen and mermaids but have immense power. One of the platinum-grade commanders from the navy was already defeated by them in a direct confrontation," Jennifer said in a shaky voice.

Bam!

Arthur stood up so fast that the chair was slammed against the wall and turned into powder.

"Give me the phone," he said in a serious tone.

Sofia was startled. Her mind was already in chaos when she heard the news, and she almost forgot that Arthur was here.

"Umm, Commander Jennifer, Arthur Miller wants to talk to you. Answer his questions," Sofia instantly instructed her.

"Hello, Commander. Can you confirm something? Have you seen those merfolks?" Arthur asked.

"Umm, yes, sir. I have seen them personally," she nodded.

"Good. Now tell me, do they have a red gem-like stone on their forehead, and can they float on the water as if they are standing there?" he asked again.

"How do you know, sir? We haven’t leaked the news yet. And yes, they are exactly what you just described," Jennifer confirmed.

"How is that possible? The merfolks only appeared after the merging of the game. We always thought they were some strange game creatures who had super intelligence and combat prowess. But how can they appear now?" Arthur was thinking hard.

"Hello, sir," Jennifer called out.

Arthur handed Sofia her phone.

"Ms. Sofia, arrange a meeting with the merfolks as soon as possible. I’ll be there personally," Arthur said seriously.

He wanted to know what was going on. Could this be the butterfly effect of his regression in time?

Sofia nodded in a daze. All this information was overwhelming. If it had been some other normal woman, she might have already fainted by now.

"Big shot, I am leaving now. I’ll let you know the updates," Sofia hurriedly went outside.

Meanwhile, Arthur sat on the chair again and started thinking.

"If merfolks are here, could that mean they are the creatures from this world and not genesis realm? If that’s the case, then there are also other ocean secrets, like those Kaijus, which we never saw in the game but appeared anyway?" Arthur had a grim face.

Those Kaijus, or Titans, were so powerful that some of them were comparable to even some Demigod-level Royal Bosses.

He called the manager, paid the bill with a Divine Gold, and left, leaving the dumbfounded manager still looking at his vanishing back.
