In the town of Blackstone,

Michael turned to Amelia with a serious expression. "Babe, are you ready for your trial?"

Amelia met his gaze without hesitation. "Yes, I am ready. I can challenge the legendary grade. What about you?"

"Me too," Michael replied. "And I have already spoken with that witch. She said Arthur has a very powerful curse resistance, so she cannot help us anymore." His face darkened as he spoke the words.

Amelia’s lips curved into a twisted, lustful smile. "What do you expect from the strongest player in the world? But it only makes me want to devour him even more. After we finish the trial, I am going to meet him personally. I am sure that once he gets to fuck me for the first time in his life, he will stop his childish tantrum and become obedient again."

Even Michael felt a chill run down his spine at the sight of that smile. Amelia had chosen the witch class, and this side of her personality matched it perfectly.

"Let’s go," she said. "It is time to challenge the trial. After I handle Arthur, I am going to take over the Evergreen Guild. He seems to have become more capable somehow. I wonder what caused the change." With that thought lingering, she started walking toward the guild, Michael falling into step beside her.

Meanwhile, Arthur was just about to head downstairs when his phone rang. He answered it at once.

"Hello, big shot. I am Sofia. Are you free now?" she asked.

Sofia had already spoken with the government. She had expected some scolding for agreeing so quickly to such a massive deal, yet the officials had praised her so enthusiastically that they even offered to make her the supreme general. But she declined the position immediately. After the meeting ended, she decided to call Arthur. She had not expected him to pick up, thinking he might still be inside the game.

"Yes, I am free," Arthur said. "In fact, I was just thinking about you."

Sofia’s face flushed red. Her heart began to race.

"He was actually thinking about me? What was he thinking? Could it be that he likes me too? Then what should we name our first child? How about...", the thoughts tumbled through her mind until she snapped back to reality and slapped her own head.

"What the heck is wrong with me? How can I be so shameless?", she scolded herself silently, yet the smile refused to leave her lips. When she recalled the details of baby-making that a married friend had once shared with her, her face turned as red as blood.

Arthur continued, unaware of her internal chaos. "Actually, I want the land surrounding the Evergreen Corporation along with all the buildings. Do not worry. I will pay the government fairly for those buildings."

Silence stretched on the other end of the line. "Hello, Ms. Sofia?" Arthur asked in confusion.

"What the hell, did she hang up on me?"

On her side, Sofia wanted nothing more than to find a hole and disappear. The embarrassment was almost unbearable.

"Of course," she finally managed in a professional tone. "I have already spoken about it, and you can choose any government land you want."

"That is good then," Arthur said gently. "How about having a meal and discussing the matter further? I have some other business deals I would like to talk over with you as well."

He was a bit hungry himself, and the idea of sharing dinner with a top-tier, world toppling beauty, did not strike him as a bad idea at all.

"A meal? Are you sure?" Sofia nearly died from excitement.

"Yeah, but if you are busy, we can always talk in the game. No worry," Arthur replied casually.

"Busy? What busy? I am so hungry I could eat a horse right now. Please give me an hour. I will meet you at the Maison Laurent," Sofia said like her life depended on it.

"Alright. Take your time." After ending the call, Arthur decided to walk toward the restaurant. He wanted to enjoy some fresh air and, more importantly, examine the nearby land so he could decide where to place his future shelter.

Meanwhile in the Grimlock family residence, the entire household was on high alert. Even the older members had been drawn into the sudden flurry of activity.

"The young miss is actually dressing up in a girly dress. She even asked us to put light makeup on her," the maids whispered in a frenzy as they rushed about.

They had never seen Sofia dress like an ordinary girl, let alone request makeup. Even without any effort she always looked like a fairy from myth, yet today she was going further than any of them could remember.

The whole house buzzed with motion as servants gathered clothing, jewelry, and cosmetics.

Meanwhile in the study, two men stood discussing the unusual event.

"Do you think she finally has a boyfriend?" asked the older of the two. He was none other than her grandfather, the retired general Eric Grimlock.

"Who in the world has the guts to even approach her?" Ren Grimlock, her father, answered with a grim face. "Damn it. I will kill that bastard if he dares to trick my baby girl."

Bang!

Instantly the old man slapped the back of his son’s head.

"Ouch! What was that for, you old geezer?" Ren cursed loudly.

Bang!

Another slap landed.

"Uh, I am sorry, Father. Why are you hitting me?"

"No reason. I am just in a bad mood, idiot," Eric snorted and walked away. Even so, he privately wanted to know exactly where his granddaughter was going and with whom.

Sofia finally finished preparing. She wore a purple sleeveless long gown that flowed elegantly around her figure. Light makeup enhanced her features without overpowering them, and her hair floated freely down her back. The maids almost forgot to breathe. She looked ethereal.

"How do I look?" Sofia asked with clear anticipation.

Then she shook her head slightly. "Forget it. I will hear the answer from him directly." She started walking with a soft hum and a quiet smile, then drove her car toward the restaurant.

Meanwhile Arthur had chosen a simple outfit: a dark hoodie and dark trousers. He walked at a steady pace and still arrived on time. He was just about to enter the restaurant to wait for Sofia when two guards stepped forward and blocked his path.

"Beggars and dogs are not allowed. Where do you think you are going?" one of them asked coldly.

Arthur was momentarily taken aback. He had come in his casual clothes, completely forgetting that Maison Laurent was an upscale restaurant reserved for the wealthy. Most of its patrons arrived in expensive cars and dressed in formal attire, making his simple hoodie and trousers stand out.

He was just about to say something when a nasty voice came from behind him.

"What the hell is this trash doing here? Guards, why haven’t you thrown him out yet? Do you want me to complain to the manager? Can’t you see I’m on an important date with my sweet Mary?"

The guard’s face turned pale with fear. They were just about to throw him out, but for some reason they couldn’t move his body at all.
