Lin Ye opened his eyes. This time, it wasn't the familiar prison transport vehicle opening, nor was it even the normal D-Class personnel opening.

He was wearing a clean, neatly pressed white school uniform, sitting in a very quiet classroom. In front of him were open textbooks and practice problems.

Outside the window was pitch black, making it impossible to see the situation beyond.

There were only a few students in the classroom doing self-study, and the corridor outside had no lights on.

Lin Ye walked around the corridor. There were also a few students in the other classrooms, their situations roughly the same as his classroom.

Lin Ye suddenly heard the sound of footsteps descending from the stairwell. The footsteps were very light, and the pace wasn't fast either.

Lin Ye walked out of the classroom through the back door. He remembered where that classroom was, all the way on the right side of the fourth floor.
