Chapter 722: Chapter 503: The Furnace of All Things Reappears in the World

"Ah, Raylo. You’re here."

It was Master Delin who was the first to snap out of that frenzied state.

He turned his head to look at Raylo. Even his usually composed face held a trace of irrepressible excitement.

"Do you see it?"

He extended his hand, pointing at the magnificent Melting Furnace.

"This is... the miracle of Alchemy!"

"A... truly great creation, one capable of upending the entire world!"

For once, Elemental Tyrant Gregory didn’t argue. His eyes, like molten lava, were locked onto the Furnace of All Things, and a heavy, bellows-like sound rasped from his throat.

’Madman... That Phillips fellow is a complete and utter madman!’

he muttered to himself.

’He actually... actually tried to touch upon the power of ’Creation’!’

"More than an attempt."

The voice of Space Traveler Morpheus drifted out from beneath his black robes, laced with a dreamlike wonder.

"In a sense, he’s already... succeeded."

"This isn’t just a Melting Furnace."

The Mechanical Master, shrouded in his Liquid Metal Robe, spoke in a grating, metallic voice devoid of any emotion.

"This is an independent world possessing the two fundamental Laws of ’Decomposition’ and ’Reorganization’!"

"We’ve only just begun to probe its internal structure. And already, we’ve discovered at least seventeen brand-new alchemical theories we’ve never seen before!"

"Phillips, within this Melting Furnace, has created... an entirely new system of Alchemy!"

Listening to the Legendary Mages’ discussion, Raylo’s heart began to pound faster and faster.

He knew he had obtained an incredible Treasure.

But he never imagined this Treasure’s value would be so great that it would cause twelve Legendary Mages to lose their composure and descend into a frenzy!

Just then, Master Delin seemed to think of something.

A smile spread across his face.

"Talk is cheap."

"Raylo, since you’re here, you can witness with us just how miraculous this ’Furnace of All Things’ truly is."

As he spoke, he took a sword out of his Spatial Bag.

It was a standard-issue Knight’s Longsword. Its steel blade reflected a cold, metallic glint under the light of the Magic Lamps.

To anyone present, such a mundane blade of iron was no different from a roadside pebble—utterly worthless.

Master Delin weighed the Long Sword in his hand, then gave his arm a gentle flick.

The Knight Sword traced a parabola through the air, landing precisely inside the crater-like opening at the top of the massive Melting Furnace.

No flames, no high temperatures.

The moment the Knight Sword fell in, the dim light of the opening flickered slightly.

HUMMM—

A low hum, seemingly from a distant age, slowly emanated from within the Melting Furnace.

On the Melting Furnace’s exterior, Energy Circuits finer than a human hair began to light up one by one. A soft, white light flowed rapidly through them, like an ancient bloodline awakening.

Everyone’s gaze subconsciously focused on the bottom of the Melting Furnace.

There, an outlet resembling a metal pipe, about half a meter in diameter, was visible.

A few breaths later.

CLINK, CLANK...

A series of crisp, metallic clinks echoed from within the outlet.

Immediately after,

like dispensed candy, metal chunks of varying sizes and colors rolled out of the pipe one after another, piling up on the ground.

Raylo quickly stepped forward, squatted down, and picked up one of the pieces.

It was a silvery-white piece of metal. It felt heavy in his hand, its composition incredibly pure, without the slightest trace of any impurity.

"It’s Refined Iron."

Master Delin’s voice came from behind him.

Raylo picked up another piece of metal that shimmered with a faint cyan luster.

"Mountain Copper."

Master Delin continued.

"There’s also Red Copper, Black Iron, and trace amounts of Mithril..."

Raylo stared at the pile of perfectly separated, pure metals on the ground, his mind reeling in shock.

An ordinary Knight Sword, forged from a variety of metals, had been broken down into its most fundamental, raw materials in just a few breaths!

This was... the ’Decomposition’ function of the Furnace of All Things!

"Incredible... simply incredible!"

Elemental Tyrant Gregory, a Legendary Mage who had spent his entire life mastering the elements, could not help but exclaim in wonder.

"It can so easily reverse the ’smelting’ process, reducing an alloy back to its most primitive elemental forms! Such a technique... is simply unheard-of!"

"It’s not just metals."

Master Delin took out a bottle of Alchemy Potion from his Spatial Bag.

He twisted open the cap and poured the viscous liquid directly into the Melting Furnace’s opening.

HUMMM—

The Melting Furnace once again emitted a low hum.

This time, what rolled out of the outlet were no longer metal chunks.

Instead, what emerged were crystal-clear Energy Crystals, each glowing with a differently colored halo.

Master Barnaby, standing to the side, picked up a crystal that glowed with a faint green light and examined it closely.

"It’s... it’s the Life Essence of Moonlight Grass! So pure! My heavens! This... this is even better than if I had purified it a hundred times with my most precise distillation equipment!"

He picked up another blood-red crystal.

"A blood crystal from a Furious Dragon Lizard!"

The crowd of onlooking Legendary Mages broke into another round of astonished gasps.

If decomposing metals had merely surprised them,

then decomposing an Alchemy Potion—with its far more complex components and unstable energy structure—and perfectly purifying and crystallizing its active ingredients...

This ability was already bordering on a ’Miracle’!

Master Delin summarized.

"With this, we have a treasure trove that can endlessly produce the highest-grade, purest Alchemy Materials!"

"Any discarded Magic Artifact, any failed Alchemy Product, even... the corpses of our enemies, can be broken down into the most basic, purest forms of energy and matter!"

Master Delin’s words made everyone’s breathing grow labored.

They all realized the terrifying war potential this function held!

This meant that Black Stone Territory would possess nearly infinite, renewable strategic resources!

"Alright, we’ve seen the Decomposition function."

Master Delin suppressed his excitement and looked at the others.

"Now, let’s try its other function."

"Reorganization."

As he spoke, he once again took something out of his Spatial Bag.

It was a shattered crystal cup.

Its surface was covered in a spiderweb of cracks, crudely glued back together.

Master Delin tossed the shattered crystal cup into the Melting Furnace as well.

Then, he walked to the other side of the Melting Furnace.

There stood a device resembling a control console, embedded with a transparent Crystal Ball the size of a human head.

Master Delin gently placed his hand on the Crystal Ball.

He closed his eyes.

Boundless Spiritual Power surged from him into the Crystal Ball like a tidal wave.

HUMMM—

The Furnace of All Things hummed again.

But this time, it wasn’t the white circuits of Decomposition that lit up on the Melting Furnace’s body, but rather a soft, green light that represented ’Creation’ and ’Life’.

Everyone’s eyes were fixed on the outlet.

This time, they waited much longer than before.

More than a full minute passed.

Finally.

DING.

A soft, clear sound.

An object slowly slid out from the outlet.

Raylo fixed his gaze on it.

It was... a perfectly intact, crystal-clear cup!

The cup’s surface was as smooth as a mirror, flawless, radiating a captivating halo under the glow of the Magic Lamps.

As if it had never been broken.

It was a success!

The Furnace of All Things could truly reorganize and perfectly repair a broken object!
