Forbidden Cravings
Chapter 385: Reached the Theatre
*Screech*
The tires of the cab made a sharp sound as it stopped right in front of the big theatre building. The evening lights of the theatre shone brightly, making the whole place look lively and exciting.
*Clack*
I quickly opened my door and stepped out. Before Aeri could open her own door, I ran around to the other side and pulled it open for her with a smile.
"Come on, Ezra... I can do this much..." Aeri said, looking a little embarrassed but smiling at the same time. Her cheeks turned a soft pink as she sat there in her white crop top and mini skirt.
"Nah, everything for my Aeri!" I replied, closing my eyes for a second and giving a little bow like a gentleman. I held out my hand to help her step out of the car.
"Hehe, idiot..." she giggled softly and took my hand, coming out of the cab with a graceful step. Her short skirt swayed a little as she stood up, and she looked even more beautiful under the theatre lights.
I turned back to the driver and asked, "How much?"
He told me the amount. I took out the cash from my wallet and handed it to him. He gave a quick nod, took the money, and drove away.
"Come... let’s walk," I said, holding my hand out in front of her again.
Aeri looked at my hand for a second, then at my face. She smiled softly and held it. Our fingers intertwined naturally as we started walking toward the theatre entrance.
*Tap* *Tap*
The sound of our footsteps mixed together as we walked hand in hand. The evening air felt cool and nice, and the theatre was buzzing with people — families, couples, and groups of friends all moving around excitedly.
"This place looks crowded..." I said, looking around at the big hall. There were multiple screens showing different movies, bright posters on the walls, and the smell of popcorn floating in the air.
"Yeah, truly..." Aeri replied, also looking around with wide eyes. She held my hand a little tighter as we walked through the crowd.
We made our way to the ticket counter. I took out my phone and showed the reservation to the woman sitting behind the glass.
"I had a reservation for two tickets for the movie: The Red Love," I said clearly.
"Let me check..." the woman replied, taking my phone and typing on her computer. After a few seconds, she printed out two tickets and slid them under the glass toward us.
"Here you go," she said with a polite smile.
"Thank you," I replied, taking the tickets and putting them safely in my pocket.
Aeri stood close beside me, still holding my hand. She looked around the busy hall with excitement in her eyes. The lights, the posters, the smell of snacks — everything seemed to make her happy. After the tough days in the hospital, seeing her like this, smiling and enjoying a normal evening, made my heart feel full.
We both walked side by side toward Screen 3, following the signs inside the theatre. The hallway was busy with people moving around, some buying snacks, others chatting excitedly about the movie they were going to watch. The air smelled of popcorn and sweet drinks, and the soft lighting made everything feel lively and fun.
*Clack*
I pushed open the heavy door of the auditorium and held it for Aeri, letting her walk in first. Inside, the lights were dim, and advertisements were playing on the big screen. The room was already half full, with people settling into their seats and talking in low voices.
"Seems like we are not late," I said, reaching out and gently taking her hand in mine.
"Yeah, right on time," she replied with a bright smile. Her fingers wrapped around mine naturally as we walked up the steps together.
"Where are our seats?" she asked, looking around as we crossed halfway through the rows.
"At the last row, corner," I said, pointing toward the right end of the auditorium. "I like sitting at the back. It gives the best view."
"Ohh..." Aeri said casually, nodding as she looked up at the high ceiling and big screen.
"Yeahh... theatres always have the best possible visibility and experience from the last seat only," I explained as we walked past a few people who were still settling into their seats.
"Excuse me... excuse me..." I said politely, making our way through the narrow space between the rows. Aeri followed closely behind me, still holding my hand.
We finally reached our seats at the very back corner. I let Aeri sit first in the seat right beside the wall, then took the one next to her. We settled down comfortably, adjusting ourselves in the soft seats.
The advertisements continued playing on the big screen — funny clips, trailers for upcoming movies, and bright colorful ads for snacks. The movie hadn’t started yet, so we had a few minutes to relax.
I turned my face toward Aeri and felt my heartbeat race a little faster. She looked so hot and adorable sitting there. The white crop top hugged her body perfectly, showing a deep, open cleavage that revealed the soft curves of her breasts. The short white mini skirt rested high on her smooth thighs, and the black stockings made her legs look even longer and more elegant. Her hair was nicely set, and a light makeup made her face glow under the dim theatre lights. It was going to be really hard to focus on the movie with her sitting so close like this.
"What are you staring at?" she asked casually, turning her face toward me with a small, knowing smile.
"Nothing," I said quickly, straightening myself in the seat and looking back at the screen. My cheeks felt a little warm.
Aeri giggled softly beside me, clearly noticing how I was reacting. She shifted a little closer, her shoulder brushing against mine. The theatre lights dimmed even more as the advertisements continued, and the excitement in the air grew. People around us were chatting and laughing, but my attention kept drifting back to her — the way she smelled fresh from the shower, the soft sound of her breathing, and how beautiful she looked in that outfit.
